Burningstar hurried into the medicine cats den and carefully dropped Gingerleaf off. He hoped she'll be ok.
"Rainpool!" he yowled. Gingerleaf needed to be treated, fast!

Evertime happened to be in the Medicine cat's den, and looked up in alarm when Burningstar ran in. "What happened?" She asked, voice full of concern.

Burningstar nodded. "ok, please try..." he mewed, then called another cat just outside to go and find Rainpool.

Evertime scouted Rainpool's den, looking for catnip, "Catnip, catnip. Where is it?" She fumbled and her paws landed on some green herbs that smell irresistable. Evertime immediately scooped up some and took it to gingerleaf. She slowly pried open gingerleaf's mouth and fed her the cat nip. "Hopefully, she'll swallow." She mumble to herself and went outside the den to find Burningstar.

Burningstar nodded and sat down to wait, his tail twiched impatiently. I wonder if it's time for Rainpool to get an apprentice... he thought to himself. the clan wouldnt last if she died if she didnt have an apprentice.
like today. Gingerleaf could have died waiting.

Evertime figeted beside Gingerleaf. She stared at gingerleaf as heart thumped worridly. "Where is Rainpool???" She whispered to herself.

Littlepaw nodded,"Under my watch I will not let anything happen to you" She slowly walked up to Gingerleaf,"We need something to put her head up on, It will help her breath" she looked around ,seeing nothing she turned to Burningstar,"See anything"
Before he could reply Gingerleaf let out another cough in pain,"Please make it stop" she gasped

"Thank goodness Littlepaw u're here!" burninstar grinned. "i'll go find some moss"
Hurrying outside, he collected a bundle of moss and brought it back into the med cats den. "Here will this do?"

Littlepaw nodded,"That will do fine, now can you help me move her into my den, the air out here will worsen the sickness." Littlepaw licked the she-cat to get her tempature and then slowly started to drag her into the medicine cat den."She should be fine" littlepaw mewed in pain."My shoulder is acting up again" she mewed.
Gingerleaf let out a small cough and that was all. She had not said much. Littlepaw knew that Whitecough could also be even worse for others. It can make a cat tell the true feelings it has about another cat, not wanting to.

burningstar blinked and did as littlepaw said, carrying gingerleaf carefully into the den. he gently lay her down.
"hey littlepaw i see that u're doing very good as a med cat apprentice. rainpool must have taught u well. im sure that soon u'll be able to become a full med cat" burningstar purred.

Evertime watched the whole scene through sad eyes. "I hope she'll be fine soon," with that she turned and walked off to find a person to talk to.

Ginderleaf gasped,"Air!"
Then just then Littlepaw screamed as loud as she could,"Rainpool!"the medicine cat was never around, some thought she was even dead.
