"what do we do? where's Rainpool?!" burningstar's fur stood on end, worrying about gingerleaf. "i thought she was going to be ok?" he questioned littlepaw.

Burningstar blinked and waved his tail. "can u get her some water please?" he asked, dimissing Littlepaw.
He padded up to Gingerleaf, uncertainty clouding his eyes. he crouched down quietly, careful not to make too much noise, beside her.
is this really my last chance? he asked StarClan and lay his head down on his paws beside Gingerleaf.
"If you're really joining StarClan" he started "i just want to let u know that... " there was a pause as he looked at the pain she's in. "...i love u"

Littlepaw nodded and walked out of the den, she hoped Gingerleaf would live, but she did not know. She needed her mentor, and her mentor was not to be found. She grapped some moss and dipped it in water, then she slowly paded ack to camp.
Gingerlead let out a small gasp and slowly sat up. She opened her eyes and was frighted,"My right eye-" she gasped for air."It is black-" she was still gasping when Littlepaw rushed in, "Drink!" she mewed.
((I was thinking, why don't we make her live, but blind in one eye,and Burningstar and her work together to try and fix it, and that is how they get closer and closer...))

IC: Burninstar blinked with worry, not knowing what to do. "you can't see me?" he asked, bounding over to Gingerleaf's right side. he hoped she would see him fine... though he had a bad feeling in him.

he purred and gave her a comforting lick.

Ginderleaf smiled,"Only with you" She felt a small shiver run down her body. She looked around, in one eye she saw Burningstar in the other she saw a deadly black. Littlepaw slowly backed out of the den.

"Oh, Littlepaw, is there any herbs for helping Gingerleaf heal faster? She still seems a little weak" Burningstar mewed, his amber eyes watching her worrily. he hoped that being with Gingerleaf could help her feel better; to comfort her.

Littlepaw stayed at the entrance of the den,"Well We could give her poppy seeds, that may help the pain she has. They would also make her go to sleep, that would gain her strength" Her eyes wondered until she spotted the small amount of poppy seeds that she had left. She gently picked them up with her mouth and padded over to Gingerleaf. She set three small dark seeds on the nest and gently put the remaining one in her mouth.Gingerleaf slowly ate the seeds and a disquisted expression was on her face. Littlepaw gave her the rest of the poppy seeds and backed away."That is all I can do"

"thank you, littlepaw. u know, u've done a great job considering ur mentor isn't usually here..." Burningstar purred proudly to the med cat apprentice.
turning back to gingerleaf, he curled down beside her and lowed his head to his paws. "I'll be here tonight, in case u need anything" he mewed. he hoped she'll feel better in the morning.
OOC; should we end this thread? we can start a new one about the morning or smth?

Littlepaw's eyes gleamed with pride, her leader was praising her."Thank You, I sleep right over there" she flicked with her tail to a small nest near the back of the den."I am sorry if I wake you during the night, I sort herbs sometimes."
Gingerleaf went off into a dream.

Berryheart, fireclan deputy, heard littlepaw yell for rainpool. "i havent seen her recently, to be honest." she sighed as she walked into the medicine cats den and looked straight into the eyes of littlepaw. "I heard, Gingerleaf, i hope she'll get better, but she hopefully will, littlepaw, with your great skills, combined with rainpool's." she dipped her head with respect and sadness. she walked away afterwards.
