Burningstar and Gingerleaf padded side by side as they neared the warm territory of the dry fields. The new leaves were growing on the tall trees, and they rustled as a soft, warm breeze ruffled the cats' fur. The sun shone down on them, making their fur shine like fire.
In the distance, the two looked like silhuoettes of flame.
"How are u feeling, Gingerleaf? Any better?" the FireClan leader asked.

Gingerleaf nodded,"Not tired at all" although she was lieing a bit. She looked down at her paws and felt a surge of energy running through her body, her front paws where glowing, she dug them in the ground, and saw the glowing stop,"Whats happening to me?" she questioned herself, mumbling only enough for her mind to hear.

Gingerleaf looked at Burningstar,"No, I just said, How about we go back, it looks like its going to storm" she sure enough the sky was turning black in a deadly darkness. Something was going to happen, something horrible.
Littlepaw sat at her den, looking into the sky, that was dark."This doesn't look good" she mewed to a passing bug. "Not good at all"

OOC: so, what are u planning for to happen? is there going to be a prophecy?
IC: "Ok, let's go quickly" he meowed and looked up at the sky nervously. he hoped the storm wouldn't start until they've gotten back safely. How could such a good day change so fast? it was kind of confusing when he thought about it, but what they had to do now was to get back to camp as soon as they could.

Gingerleaf agreed without any hesitation,"The sooner the better" she mewed quickening her wqalk to a fast jog, not wanting to over do it her first day conscience. She looked up at the sky wondering when the storm would hit.

Burningstar padded quickly beside her, his pelt barely touching hers to keep the pace.
Soon, they got to camp, and he slowed down. "get back to ur mothers" he hissed to the kits who were still out.
then, a crack of light flashed from the sky and a loud crack was heard...
the storm broke.

Littlepaw looked at Gingerleaf, she looked good. She knew the storm was coming, she signaled for Gingerleaf to come, but the-cat remained still. Gingerleaf looked around, kits where running into the nursery, apprentices where taking shelter and Littlepaw was watching the entrance of the camp.
Gingerleaf padded up to Burningstar,"Wheres Rainpool?" she questioned knowing that was what Littlepaw was waiting for, she had not been seen in a while, and Littlepaw had taken it out on herself.

"...you're right. i haven't seen Rainpool around in a LONG time." Burningstar frowned. had she gotten into trouble? or had she left the clan without concent?
noticing both Littlepaw and Gingerleaf's worries, he crouched in front of the med cat apprentice with a smile. "you've been working really hard, Littlepaw, even without a mentor to guide you, but i can see that StarClan is with you. I think it's time for you to become a full medicine cat."

Littlepaw's green eyes gleamed with excitement,"Really!?" she shouted forgetting about the storm. "Do you really think so?" she wanted to know. Gingerleaf could not help her self from letting out a small giggle at the apprentice's excitement.

"yes, Littlepaw. you have worked really hard through all these difficulties." Burningstar smiled warmly at the apprentice. "tomorrow at sunhigh, if the storm is over, we'll have ur ceremony."
the fireclan leader tried to hide all his concerns about having the ceremony without the medicine cat... usually it's the med cat that says the words so starclan can approve... would starclan accept Littlepaw if Rainpool's not here?

Littlepaw was full of excitement and just bounced around. After some excitement wore down she foucused on the storm and knew this was not goo, not at all.

"I'll leave you and Gingerleaf to rest now." Burningstar purred, then took a quick look up at the sky and padded to his den. he wanted to make sure it didn't start pouring outside yet.
just before he arrived into his den, a loud thunder broke and rain thudded down from the sky. he let out a gasp of surprise and hurried into shelter.
this'll be a long night.

Gingerleaf felt saddened she like having Brackenstar wih her, and now that he was gone she felt lonely and signed. Littlepaw nearly broke out with amusement if she could have, Gingerleaf had fallen for Brackenstar,"Take these to Brackenstar tell him they will help with stress" Gingerleaf smiled and ran with the glob of herbs Littlepaw had given her. She was excited to be back with Brackenstar, and Littlepaw curled up to Sleep.
Once Gingerleaf had reach Brackenstar's den trying to outrun the next clash of thunder she ran in hoping she would not get yelled out,"B-b- ackenstar?" she questioned shivering off the rain,"I have some herbs from Littlepaw" she mewed getting somewhat nervouse but she had no clue why, had she really fallen for a leader, she knew it was only a small liking and would go away, or would it.

IC: "oh hey Gingerleaf!" Burningstar purred and got up. he was happy to see her again even though he had only left for like a few minutes. "what are the herbs for? i think it's u who need the rest." he smiled.
"you're all wet" he observed, and gave Gingerleaf a few licks on the head. "i wonder when the storm would stop... i think it'll get smaller in a while. u want to stay until then? u might get sick if u run out again like this."
