Redwater glanced at Mintdapple, "come back to us safely" she meowed to her clan mate.
Flypaw padded over to her clan mate, pressing her nose into her fur, "may Starclan be with you," the medicine cat meowed.

Mintdapple nodded her head to Treestar. "Congratulations Dawnstar," she meowed as she plunged out of the camp, and raced toward Fireclan.

Windgale looked up as Skyclan scent filled her nostrils. She let out a bad tempered rumble. Was Skyclan always going to come here? Yes, they were allies, but not joined at the hip! Still, her interest was piqued by the fact that Rosefeather hadn't come, and the cat known as Dawnstreak had come in her place... (she didn't hear that she's now Dawnstar lol and forgive her bad temper ^^  |

Mintdapple dragged herself into the Earthclan clearing. Blood welled from the wounds in her side and her throat. Her silvery grey pelt was now stained deep crimson. Exhausted, she collapsed in the center of the camp.

Seeing her fallen clan mate as she collapsed Flypaw bound forward, "oh Mintdapple, hole on" she meowed. Whirling around the medicine cat apprentice rushed to the medicine's cat den, gathering all that she would need while calling for her mentor.
She returned to Mintdapple quickly pressing sticky white cobwebs to her wounds. Nosing poppy seeds toward her mouth, "eat those Mintdapple, it will help with the pain" she whispered.
But something in her doubted Mintdapple would live at all.

Weakly, Mintdapple licked up the poppy seeds. She placed her head into the dirt, she could almost hear Starclan call for her.

IC: Treestar's amber eyes snapped open in horror at the blood soaking Mintdapple's fur. The she-cat had always been swift and a great fighter. Who could have done this? In truth the Earthclan leader only could guess. Even then he didn't want to.
Shouldering past the others, the light brown tabby sniffed the fallen warrior intently. "Mintdapple! Don't tell me you couldn't make it...don't tell me they attacked you..." Treestar's eyes flicked rapidly about her face. Searching for expressions or words that may calm his fears. But so far they only grew. Burningstar was no longer his ally, was he? Was all this truely happening? The long haired tom shook his head, trying not to be deaf to the words from any of the other cats around him except his fallen senior warrior.
"Did y-...who?" a fraction of a question, but it was one none the less.

Kita took on a serious, gloomy glint to the eyes and face. "And so it has happened." She murmered to herself.
Winterpaw widened her eyes. "I'll help!" She raced to the medicine den to pick up more cobwebs. She twisted a wad tightly around her paw, remembering an old saying from her mentor. if it's bleeding a lot, make the cobwebs tighter, so less blood seeps out. She nodded, new determination in her eyes. she hobbled as fast as she could back, then presses the tight ball on Mintdapple's side. "It'll all be fine." She tried to smile with hope, but there was too much blood, too fast...

Flypaw pressed the wound harder, but the blood did not slow in it's flow. Fear blocking her air ways as she listened to Treestars words, this couldn't be. What was happening to the warrior code? What was happening to the clans, what was tearing them apart?

Dawnstar glanced at Treestar. "This is too much. If you wish, I shall rally my warriors without a second thought. You send a peace offering to FireClan and they attack your warrior! This is proof that they no longer honor the warrior code."
Forestfur nodded at Dawnstar's words. She may be of SkyClan, but she was proving that they actually could think.
Sunset padded toward EarthClan with her head low and her ears pressed down. It had been a moon, and she had finally gathered the strength to do this. She had to offer the fighting services of the High Hills Band. She would not force any of her cats to fight, but she knew that Skywalker and Bird and Nike would fight with her. FireClan had stolen their kits!
As she neared the camp, she picked up the stench of blood. "No!" she hissed, rounding the last bend.

Treestar hung his head in defeat. Fireclan had attacked Mintdapple. His message of peace! Suddenly everything under his paws seemed unalive. The wind no longer fresh and crisp, but sour. Smell of the senior warrior's blood stung his nose, as a sudden "No" caught his attention. Through the tainted air came a sunset. Bright orange like a ray of light who refused to give in and vanish with the fleeting sun. "Sunset!" Treestar called, snapping out of his dazed fantasy.
OOC: Sorta a bleh post...just not feeling it today.

Winterpaw pressed the cobwebs firmer onto Mintdapple's side. Her paws were crimson with the EarthClan warrior's blood. This is the price paid for war. She thought sadly. There must be another way, the Clans can't fight like this!! Her voice gained strength as she thought this. "We can't assume FireClan did this! They may be confused, but not hostile, not this hostile!!" She wailed. Her eyes wailed their own, sadly sweet song as she could feel the life blood of Mintdapple soak the Earth.

Lilypaw ducked out from behind Sunset, then eyes large as the moon itself, she raced forward to her clanmate. "Mintdapple!!"
Winterpaw shoved the apprentice away. "You can't help here, go pray with your Clan." She snarled, a sad tone muffling her voice.

Flypaw ducked her head sadly, what if she could not save her? It would not be her fault she knew, but it would feel like it. Dear starclan what was happening to tear every one apart like this?
