OOC: I don't think WW4J has posted with Windgale to answer Treestar. But it was Boarpaw (random apprentice) ....I know that because I look at all the threads when I'm bored xD
While waiting for the warrior's explanation of what had happened and such, Treestar glanced back at Amberpaw. "I want you to stick close with me until the danger thins. I can't risk any more future protectors of this clan." His comment was quiet, but not hidden from the others.

(lol I took lakey's suggestion and made her not remember so that Forestfur would worry about Flashpaw lol ^^ yay!! Thankies for reminding me though! ^^ I did forget.)
Windgale shook her head in annoyance. It also frightened her that she had forgotten so easily. "I'll remember in a minute. But Treestar... one of the cats who escaped, he said something strange. I don't know if it's important or not..."

Amberpaw tilted her head listening to Windgale and Treestar's conversation. Whenever her mentor moved with nervousness or irritation it made her right eye twitch.

Kita frowned. "Sounds like WaterClan and FireClan are making their move. I didn't think the Clans were so violent though. Don't you have a code or rules of some sort?" She tipped her head to the side. "What will you do Treestar?" She started to walk away, losing interest. Seeming to collect her thoughts, she threw over her shoulder, eyes narrowed. She meowed this next part like a threat, "Will you take revenge?"

OOC: Rofl! You guys are funny! xD IC: Treestar stiffened as he listened to Kita. Even before she had said her last words.
The leader pondered them for a moment. Tipping his head to the distant trees in thought even. Treestar was thinking of how he and Burningstar used to get along so well. Now what? The Fireclan leader's deputy had sent a raid on his clan! He couldn't just let that pass as if nothing had happened! Though, it also seemed, deep down inside; Maybe there was more to what was going on in Fireclan?
"No." Treestar purred with a unusually arrogant tone, for a cat like him. "Burningstar nor Lakeripple will get away with this. I will send a messenger as my last offer of peace. If I hear no word back, then we shall prepare for a clash of the elements." As his words progressed, the tone vanished to make way for the raising of his voice. Earthclanners paused to listen in to the news. Some seemed to shudder at the mention of possible war.

Windgale looked up at Treestar, completely ready for anything. War....Windgale would do anything to protect her clan. But... Who will be this messenger of peace? she wondered, looking up at her leader. She would follow him to the death. A fierce pride in her clan warmed her heart, and her eyes reflected her determination..

Forestfur closed his eyes... War... on Lakeripple? It didn't seem right! She just loved her kits, maybe a little too much. Besides, wasn't Froststar leader?

Amberpaw looked surprised looking at Treestar and sighed looking at the ground, I guess it's right if he thinks so. she thought almost wishing that she never got up at the call.

Kita kept quiet about Frostfall. The wily she-cat had tried to keep the fact that she was the leader of WaterClan a secret was just humorous. Maybe Treestar doesn't see Frostfall as the evil of WaterClan. "In my opinion, it should be someone willing to risk their life. If things go bad, the messenger may be killed." Her copper eyes flashed. "But someone you trust. So it looks like my group is out." She smiled half-heartedly.

Kita wanted to yowl, No! You can't go![\i] But it wasn't her choice. She stared at the tom with worried eyes. She'd send them to WaterClan then, Frostfall wouldn't hurt him there. Hopefully Redfur was there and he'd explain everything to Forestfur, that way she'd have an actual friend in the Clan.

Wildfire watched the debate. The though of war made her stomach churn, but she also secretly loved fighting. "If Forestfur doesn't go, then I will." She offered, gulping down the lump in her throat.

IC: Treestar's gaze flicked to the warriors who had honorably offered. "How could I ask something that could be this dangerous from either of you?" the leader questioned, slight worry in his voice.
OOC: I don't know what to say, really. It might have to be a NPC cat that goes, because I had an idea that they either get killed halfway there, or come back badly ingured. For some reason I'm getting a feeling Flamey was thinking the same thing? xD

You could wait, and hope it all falls into place, but who knows how many would be killed in that time span? Sending a group would be worse than sending one, yet sending one takes the chance of never getting the message through. What will you decide?" She took on a serious tone.
