Smallkit jumped after the moss giggling but lost her footing landing on the ground with a soft thud, Ouch. she mumbled. Smallkit picked herself up; she hated being small. She hated how her name stated the fact that she was small. Smallkit frowned, and looked at Winterpaw obviously jealous.

Winterpaw smiled sweetly. "Don't worry! I'm sure you'll grow!! You're actually big, considering all the conditions you've been born with, like the seasons, parents, prey..." Winterpaw caught her mistake too late, she had mentioned parents. Poor Smallkit had no mother, and no one seemed to play with the mature kit. All the kits Winterpaw knew didn't even talk at this age, yet Smallkit was already stranding words together, almost sentences!

"Okay!" She sat down, wrapping her tail around her delicate paws. "So, there are 5 clans. LightningClan, FireClan, EarthClan, WaterClan, and us, SkyClan. And the spirit Clans, StarClan and DemonClan, but we'll get to those later. In each Clan, there is a Leader, they have 9 lives and are really powerful. In second command, there is the Deputy, they organize patrols and are usually the strongest warrior in the Clan. Then there's the Medicine Cat. They heal their Clan members when they get sick or hurt. They have strong connections with StarClan and sometimes have cool powers. The usual rules of Clan loyalty and borders don't effect them in different situations. Then, the majority of the Clan is the Warriors, they hunt and fight for the Clan. The Queens, or she-cats, are expecting kits, or have kits. The Elders are the retired Warriors and live honorably in the Clan. Then there's the Apprentices, they are 6 moons and older kits that are training to become Warriors. But I'm training to become a Medicine Cat, so I learn all about healing. Anything you want me to explain clearer?"

Rosefeather walked back toward the Nursery, feeling confused. Normally, the Medicine Cat Apprentice was in her den, arranging herbs, but now, she was playing in the nursery, was a kit sick? The mist dripped off her fur, making the Deputy a blood color.
