Flashpaw flashed another grin. "If they hadn't attacked us, I would have been concerned, because FireClan is so mousebrained, that they need to attack someone or they'll explode!" He laughed. "It's really easy talking to you. Like I've known you all my life."

Berrydapple moved her paws to claw at the earthclan tom attacking her, but suddenly found that she just couldnt hurt him. she just couldnt use her claws, not in this battle. 'this battle is wrong. i should have listened to Wildheart!' she realized. then she watched as Wildheart pawed at the ginger tom. 'she doesnt have her claws out either' and she noticed that there were other cats from fireclan around her who werent really trying to hurt their opponents. 'i have to get out of this battle!' she thought desperatly. she pushed up with her hind legs and tried to throw the tom off. a jolt of pain went through her when she started to use her front paws too. her shoulder wound was throbbing, and gushing blood. she collapsed under dewpelt and drifted unconscious.
Shadowprint felt suprised at first when Wildheart hit his ear, but caught on quickly. he aimed a soft blow with his claws sheathed at her shoulder. "Wildheart this battle cant go on much longer." he meowed to her over the sreeches and yowls of the battle. "we have to make this stop or we will both loose cats we care about!" he looked worriedly over at Dewpelt and Berrydapple. he hoped that Dewpelt wouldnt get hurt and, at the same time he looked over, Berrydapple collapsed.

IC: Dewpelt gasped in surprise when he felt Berrydapple collapse under his weight. although he didn't even attack with his claws, he guessed by the amount of blood spilled that the fireclan she cat was already hurt badly by the time he pounced onto her to keep her from figuring out shadowprint's situation.
He leaped off quickly, and in turn the defensive gleam in his eyes turned into worry. Even though it was an enemy cat, he couldn't just watch her lose so much blood, lying there. at this rate, she could die. he didn't know if it would be safe, or loyal, if he brought Berrydapple to their medicine cat. total confusion hit him, and he felt powerless.
Not knowing what to do, the brown tom shifted his weight from paw to paw, looking around frantically for any answers or solutions to this. the first cat that popped into his mind was Lotuspetal; she could help! he searched the camp, then spotted her near the nursery entrance. "Lotuspetal!" he called, hoping she'd know what to do.

OOC: Okay then! Kidnapping it is! *unlatches Foxcloud's leash* AWAY, MY EVIL CREATION!!!>=D
IC: Foxcloud grinned, satisfied at her victory over Firemist. The warrior may have been defiant, but the deputy had won in the long run. Giving a quick glance around the battle field, she quickly frowned at what she saw. The battle spirit in her follower's eyes had gone. Each of their bows had little or no power and claw behind them. The deputy gave a low hiss at this. How could they!? After all she had done to keep them away from the hard jobs of the clan! How could they betray her like this!? Her amber eyes gave a sideways glance to Firemist once more. They burned accusingly into the she-cat's own eyes. A small challenging and hatred filled flame dancing within the sharpness. Mud was now flaking off, showing her fox-red fur to any Earthclan cat that took the time to note it.
Foxcloud's brain worked quickly. Its cunning and skilled tactics coming up with a plan quickly. With a loud yowl, she demanded the attention of her warriors. "Earthclan has learned their warning! It is time we returned with their fur in our victorious claws..." the last part was a low growl. Her sharpened claws digging into the soft ground as she gazed past Sunset, and to Treestar. Amber met amber once more. But only briefly. Foxcloud turned away in disgust, and followed behind her returning cats. Saying that they were retreating, would just have your hide on the chart for Foxcloud to rip. The Fireclan cats had their tails high in victory. The protective thorn barrier that protected the camp might as well have been a pile of leaves.
A few feet from the entrance, Foxcloud paused. Right before her clan broke off into a quick run. Her mud covered ears pricked at whispers. Whispers of young cats. The Fireclan deputy grinned, breaking off from her group and sneaking to the sound. Her tail waved happily at what she saw and smelled. An Earthclan apprentice, talking to a Skyclan? This could proove to be useful... Foxcloud charged forward, her mud covered fur standing on end the best it could. Amber eyes wild, she quickly clasped her jaws around the closest apprentice's scruff, and, -after a struggle- whisked him off the ground. Flashpaw. Her claws slammed down inches away from Dreampaw as a warning. "Run home to your little mommy, pretty butterfly!" Foxcloud snarled threw her mouth of fur, before charging off.
Despite the weight and fighting of the young Earthclan apprentice, Foxcloud kept her eyes forward. With a hiss, demanding silence from the apprentice's possible protests, she paused at the Fireclan entrance. Foxcloud's tail raised as she pushed her way threw the brambles. She didn't even care if a thorn snagged at the young tom in her jaws.
She didn't have pleasant plans for him anyway.
OOC: sorry if that one part seems like Power play. I didn't really want to take five posts just in stealing the poor apprentice... <_<"

Lotuspetal's heart lept when she saw Dewpelt calling her name. Then her eyes drifted to the injured cat. Eyes widening, she bounded toward's him. "Dewpelt! What has happened!" she meowed, her musical voice tinted by worry.
Wildheart nodded. "Don't worry, we'll get this sorted out sooner or later." More quietly she added, "I must tell you something. Foxcloud seemed seething with anger when we left. He plans to kill Treestar. I tried to stop him, but no cat was listening to me."

OOC: Awsome! Oh and Icefeather, Foxcloud is a girl.
IC: Sunset relaxed as Foxcloud turned away from her father. She looked back at him, and purred slightly. "Don't you scare me like that!" she mock scolded. Then she grew serious. "I'm not ready to be orphaned."
Forestfur watched Moonlitice lope gracefully away. He was surprised at the FireClan retreat, but immediately looked around for his son. His surprise turned to panic when he couldn't see Flashapaw. He ran over to Treestar and Sunset, and wailed, "Flashpaw is missing!"
Moonlitice began the run home.
Flashpaw gasped in surprise as sharp teeth grasped his scruff. "No!" he yowled as he tried to claw his way back to Dreampaw. Breathing in deep, he discovered who had grabbed him. "Foxcloud!" His struggles became more ferocious, but he couldn't seem to break free of the steel jaws. "Run Dreampaw, GO!" he yelled. "GO!"

Firemist sighed. She followed her former apprentice back to Fireclan territory.
Dreampaw froze as the Fierce Fireclan deputy neared the two apprentices. She now had Flashpaw and was dragging him away. Dreampaw's blue eyes flickered from the struggling tom, the Fireclan she-cat, and finally to the path she would have to take. She took as dainty white paw step back away from Foxcloud. "You'll never get away with this," she meowed feebly. The she-cat honestly scared her to death. Her foster mother, Brooksplash, told her horror stories about the deputy's fierceness. Dreampaw took another step back. She had to decide between the tom she loved and her own well being.
After a moment of silent comtemplation, Dreampaw glanced at Flashpaw. He told her to run, and now she would listen. She tore her eyes from his and ran. She ran until the scent marker switched from Earthclan to Skyclan. She was home! Dreampaw shockingly felt a bit strange. She turned and raced back toward Flashpaw. Wait, her mind screamed. He's probalby been taken into Fireclan territory somewhere. Dreampaw changed her direction. She thought about his muddy scent and the feathery tail. She pushed her speed a little. She thought about his deep blue eyes. She ran even faster. The rest of him flashed through her mind, and soon she felt she was running with all the warriors of Starclan matching her every step.

Silentpaw looked up at the shrieks of the cats around him. Foxcloud had taken Flashpaw hostage. "Great StarClan!" he yowled and bounded up to Wildheart who was fake-fighting and EarthClan warrior. "Wildheart," he meowed urgently, "Foxcloud has taken an EarthClan apprentice back to camp. Somebody has to tell Burningstar!"
Wildheart hung her head down sadly, her eyes looked blank and dead. "I'm sorry, Silentpaw, every cat is afraid of Foxcloud. Nobody is going to be against him. Stand with the enemy, or fail."
Silentpaw's eyes widened at his half-sister's easy give-up. "StarClan hasn't meant this to happen!" he meowed quietly.
Wildheart's head snapped up, her eyes blazing with the itensity of fire. "If StarClan hasn't meant this to happen, they would've done something by now, since they are so mighty and powerful!"
"How can you say that?!?" he gasped, as if those words made his ears bleed, "Don't you still believe in our warrior ancestors?"
"Yes... but I have lost faith in them."
