Flashpaw laughed. "Well, I guess if you like it, it's okay. That's what Songpaw used to say. You're strange and abnormal! Never bothered me then, won't ever bother me. You're the prettiest she-cat I've ever met, and I like that!" He grinned, and finished placing his muzzle between her ears.

Lotuspetal pushed off Silentpaw easily, trapping him in the middle of the fighting cats. She looked wildly around for Dewpelt, who was helping shadowprint with one cat. The two cats had become good friends the past moon. She bounded up to him and took on the nearest FireClan cat. "Hi," she meowed breathlessly.
Wildheart, blinded by battle, jumped on the cat next to her. His blacked paws and flame colored pelt glowed beneath her. "Shadowprint!" she whispered, and sheathed her claws backing up. "I'm sorry! I never meant to..." she cried in aungish, all the frusteration and anger seeping into her voice, "I'm sorry...."

Hissing in surprise, Redwing reared back as he felt the sharp tips of a claw slice past his ear. Growling, the FireClan tom whirled instinctively, teeth bared, but with less ferocity than usual. His golden eyes glittered, but not with anger, and his posture was stiff-legged and tense. It was evident that the tom didn't want to be there.
Nonetheless, Redwing lunged at the brown EarthClan warrior, claws still mysteriously sheathed as he aimed to land a blow to Dewpelt's shoulder.

OOC: wow, complicated fight!
IC: shadowprint felt the fireclan cats claws dig into his fur, but then suddenly the weight of the cat was gone. 'dewpelt!' he thought, happy that his friend came to save him. he got to his paws and stood, aiming a blow for the attacker. but suddenly he felt more claws digging into his fur. 'no no, i just cant fight these cats' he turned as the cat let go, aiming a blow with one of his big black paws. but as he turned, a sweet scent washed over him. 'wildheart!' he realized and paused in the middle of his strike. he heard the words spill out of her mouth, but they didnt have any meaning to him. "wildheart!! no, im alright. you should get out of hear, you shouldnt be fighting." shadowprint stumbled over the words, trying to say more with his eyes than his words. he turned quickly to the side as a cat screeched beside him.
Berrydapple's mind turned to anger as she saw wildheart letting go of the earthclan tom. she heard the whisper of a name, 'shadowprint she thought. ' why isnt she clawing him?' berrydapple lurched towoards the two cats. "wildheart, what are you doing?!" she yowled. "attack him! hes an earthclan cat!" she slid forward and prepared to jump at shadowprint.
OOC: i think berrydapple is getting suspicious of wildheart.

"Your right, shadowprint, this fight is not supposed to be happening. I tried to stop it, i really did!" she looked around and saw berrydapple staring at her. "die, earth clan warrior die!" she meowed and winked at him. She pounced and batted him in the head.
Lotuspetal smiled at Dewpelt's fighting and meowed, "Dewpelt! I need to tell you something!" Her voice was drowned in the mass of fighting cats so he couldn't hear her.

OOC: yes a very complicated fight indeed. =O
IC: Dewpelt caught a glimpse of Lotuspetal, and in the middle of battle, he turned to her voice calling his name. it was like pure instinct; he even forgot that he was in the middle of a combat with a worthy warrior Redwing. He searched for the calico she-cat, but with all the bodies of other cats, it was hard. and while he was still half turned, he saw from the corner of his eyes that the red-ginger fireclan tom was about to attack.
The brown warrior prepared himself for a hard blow across the shoulder, but was met with sheated claws. his bright green eyes widened at Redwing, clouding with confusion. What was that about? wasn't fireclan's goal to take over and beat Earthclan? he thought to himself. quickly glancing around him, he noticed that there wasn't that much blood shed in camp; most cats seemed to be reluctant to fight. he suspected that it was simply because Burningstar was nowhere in sight, but somehow, that didn't feel quite right. maybe not all fireclan cats are all that bad he decided, then heard an angry yowl from near him and shadowprint.
Dewpelt knew that that was his call; he had to help his friend out through this no matter what. turning as quickly as he got over his surprise, the tom suddenly pounced onto Berrydapple to distract her. the questions clouding his mind and his move back into the fray made everything seem like a blur in the matter of heartbeats, and he didn't even catch sight of Lotuspetal or what she said. Hopefully, nothing important.

It was if it were magic. Dewpelt disapeared right before her eyes, he was drowned beneathed horrific current of fighting cats. Way to ruin a moment, Lotuspetal thought bitterly, To think I was actually going to tell him my true feelings for him! Disappointed, she bounded toward the nursery, tail drooping, and gaurded the entrance. She hissed at an incoming fireclan warrior and lashed her claws at his face. She looked sadly at terrified kits, and her heart lit up into hot flames that carried through onto her whole body. [glow=red,2,300]How dare FireClan attack us![/glow] she snarled inside her head, [glow=red,2,300]Are they so heartless, that they would attack innocent cats?[/glow] Her fur stood up on end as she fought beside the queens, hoping one day she would join them.
OOC: yeah, it's really cofusing, this fight involves many cats. let's see, there is the dewpelt/lotuspetal thing, the dewpelt/redwing thing, the dewpelt/shadowprint thing, the wildheart/shadowprint thing, the berrydapple/wildheart/shadowprint thing, and the dreampaw/flashpaw thing! haha there is a lot of things, oh and don't forget the Foxcloud/Treestar thing!

Redwing could tell that Dewpelt was confused by his reluctance to fight, but the FireClan warrior paid it no mind. He had to focus on the fight--he doubted that the EarthClan cat would return the favor. However, his concentration was broken when he heard a yowl over his shoulder.
Golden eyes wide, and then blazing with anger, Redwing whirled to see the tom Berrydapple was fighting. His teeth clenched, and his pelt trembled with suppressed rage. How dare he! They may have to fight, but the kits and queens weren't involved! Despite the fact that they were of the same Clan and that his actions could be considered treasonous, Redwing snarled viciously at the warrior, threatening him with bared fangs. Fully grown cats were one thing, but Redwing didn't tolerate attacks on kits.

Flashpaw shrugged. "Why does FireClan do anything other than to torment others. I believe that it is something about showing SkyClan that FireClan is powerful, without attacking them because they were on the lookout. Something complicated like that." He looked anxiously at the battle in the camp.

OOC: Maybe Firemist should trust Foxcloud. *thinks* By the way, I have an idea! You know how you wanted my Foxcloud to attack Flashpaw? Well, how about if/when they leave, Foxcloud takes a different route, runs into the too apprentices, and takes him? What you think?  She could claim he was spying on Fireclan territory, cuz she comes back at a bit later then the group. That way Treestar will have a reason to loose trust in Burningstar, and Burningstar blaim Treestar for having an apprentice spy! Ugh! I'll have to post tomarrow after school. Have to wait for Firemist to do her thing, and Lakeripple to approve/disapprove the Flashpaw kidnapping! XD |
