Thunderpaw grunted as he obeyed his mentors order and leapt, yowling as he flew towards Flameclaws. He had to be quick if he was going to get him. He braced himself for impact, with Flameclaws or the ground.

[Honeydew]

Flameclaws let thunderpaw leap onto him.But Flameclaws then quicky tackled him."If your in a situation like this you use your back legs to kick them off. Try to do that."

OOC: Just ignore me.....Treestar is just going to watch if you don't mind.....


IC: Treestar lay silently in the bushes. The leader had been out by himself, trying to gather his mind, when suddenly the sounds of a light scuffle came to him. The Earthclan leader made his way to it with mind set on finding out what was going on. The sounds were to playful to be series. "My my..." Treestar purred happily to himself, as he watched mentor and apprentice practice fighting with each other. Treestar had chosen right when he choose the deputy to be the mentor of Thunderpaw.

Forestfur let out a low growl. Treestar was watching too. Maybe he should tell the leader his suspitions... But no, Flameclaws was a good deputy and a good friend, and he wanted nothing to ruin that.

Thunderpaw nodded and battered Flameclaws stomach, keeping his claws sheathed, in the hopes of weakening him before finally throwing his mentor off. As he slowly grew out of breath he screwed his eyes shut and gritted his teeth, giving one last final heave.

Ripppedpaw courched by her mentor.
"Treestar," she asked her leader, "can we join them?"

Treestar turned around to his apprentice. "Sure!" he purred, turning to face Rippedpaw, "Show me what you got." Treestar purred playfully, as he got into a friendly battle pose.

[Honeydew]

Flameclaws once he was kicked off landed on his feet.He was impressed the apprentice knew exactly what to do.He did it very skillfully also."Great job!"Flameclaws praised. "Just remember once you kick them off to get up because they could have landed on their feet like I did. Remember that."Flameclaws felt weird at telling someone this.He never had imagined having an apprentice of his own.To him it was weird ordering someone around.But once he thought about he was deputy so it was normal to do things like this.Flameclaws got re focused on the lesson. "Okay with what you know so far attack me." Flameclaws waited for his move.

Rippedpaw launched herself at Treestar, but at the last minute she rolled towards his feet.

Thunderpaw rose from the ground, enjoying his mentors praise. He shook the dirt from his stripy pelt and raced towards Flameclaws, as he neared him he struck out with his paw but tripped over and fell to the ground. He rolled back to his paws and hissed playfully, before launching himself towards his mentor as fast as he could, with his paws outstretched.

Forestfur stood with muscles tensed. He wished he had an apprentice. Sighing, he turned away. He really liked Rippedpaw, and had hoped that she would be his. But no, he had no apprentice, and no future except what came with Leaffur.

With Treestar's slim figure, and long legs, he was able to quickly jump out of the way of Rippedpaw, and turn to face her. "Look at me, Rippedpaw. I'm way to fast for a move like that. Now, try something misguiding." The Earthclan leader took the battle pose once more. He wondered what his apprentice would do. He also wondered what was going threw Rippedpaw's mind right now.

Rippedpaw just lunged at Treestar.

Deep in thought, the leader let the apprentice's attack hit. He wanted to see what she would do once her attack had worked.

Forestfur stared outward at his father and mentor. He seemed so at ease. Sighing, he turned away. It wasn't fair, he was a loyal cat, surely he should have had an apprentice by now.

When Rippedpaw hit Treestar, she instently climbed on to his back, if she had used claw that would have hurt, then she used one free leg to kick out at one of Treestar's hind legs.

Treestar felt Rippedpaw climb his back, and kick at his hind leg. Instinctivly, the leader was ready to flip onto his back, but instead, he fell to his side, and kind of used the ground to get Rippedpaw off. Once the leader had gotten to his paws, "Smart, but be aware that I could have fallen onto my back and pinned you. Now, I'd like you to jump for me, so I may show you a move that may get you the upper hand." Treestar was actually surprised on how Rippedpaw knew some moves already. She just needed to learn when it was best to use them.

Rippedpaw obeyed and jumped at Treestar.

IC:Flameclaws was impressed with the speed. He laughed when thunderpaw tripped. He didn't think he would still jump at him though.He was taken off complete guard and landed with a thump."Ouch, but nice tackle! Now get off of me you fur-ball!"Flameclaws said playfully.
