"Let all cat old enough to catch prey gather here at the Flat Rock." Burningstar called out the usual, as he stood in the center of the camp, watching as all the cats gathered. It has only been a couple suns since Darksky's medicine cat ceremony, and already there were new kits ready to become apprentices.
"Today we are here to give apprentice names to two lucky kits." he purred, picking out the two kits, Starkit and Sunkit. "Come on over, it's time to finally become apprentices." His amber eyes shone warmly as he motioned for the two to step forward.

Darkheart gathered. She was excited, maybe this would finally be her time to have an apprentice of her own! She had been waiting for this day for a LONG time... she thought happily

Sunkit puffed out her chest and made sure her coat looked nice and soft before cautiosly stepping up towards Burningstar. Today she became and apprentice, one step closer to becoming a warrior. Her blue eyes sparkled with glee and she couldn't hold back a soft purr.

Wildheart waited quietly behind her soon-to-be apprentice, Starkit, trying her best to look like a sophisticated warrior. But she couldn't help but let her excitement show; her tail was twitching, her face was cracked with a huge smile(?). Her first apprentice! Oh, she couldn't wait to tell Shadowprint tonight!

Burningstar watched with amusement as Sunkit came up cautiously. He could just feel the kit's excitement now.
"Sunkit, you are now 6 moons, and ready to become an apprentice. until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Sunpaw." The dark ginger leader paused for a moment, searching through the cats and found the she-cat he was looking for.
"Darkheart, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have served the clan well with your loyalty and skill, and may you pass on your experience to this apprentice."
He watched proudly, like watching his own kits. Indeed, his clan was his family, but he wished that soon he would watch his own kits walk the path of a warrior.

Sunkit looked up to meet Burnigstar's gaze. Awaiting the moment of truth, her pulse raced and she could hear blood rushing past her ears, she wrapped her fluffy tail neatly around her feet and struggled to keep a straight face. As she heard her leaders words she let out a squeak of delight, Now she was Sunpaw!

Darkheart was taken by surprise. She walked forward and looked over at Sunpaw. She smiled at the young she-cat. "I will!" she said in an excited voice.

Sunpaw looked up to her new mentor and could barely suppress large smile. She felt her paws tingle and light headed with excitement, for a moment she thought she's pass out. Her tail twitched furtively as she listen to Darkheart's reply.

Burningstar nodded and waited for the two to touch noses, then a chorus of chanting was heard by the enthusiastic clan. "Sunpaw! Sunpaw! Darkheart! Darkheart!"
Then it was Starkit's turn. "Starkit, until you have recieved your true warrior name, you shall be called Starpaw." Then he turned to Wildheart. "Wildheart, although you have just been named a new warrior of FireClan, I believe you are ready to take on your first apprentice. Pass on your strength and skills to Starpaw, and teach her all she needs to know."

IC: Wildheart's heart bursted with pride, and she almost hurt the apprentice when she touched noses with her. She took her place beside Starkit.

Darksky made it to the very end of the apprentices ceremony. She had been treating Littleflower, and couldn't leave.

OOC: nah i wrote it right, it's "until you have recieved your true warrior name", meaing until you get ur warrior name, this is ur apprentice name. xP get it?
IC: Burningstar smiled as the ceremony ended. It was great having two new apprentices to train to become loyal FireClan warriors. there weren't that many apprentices in the past few moons, and he was glad Starpaw and Sunpaw would be able to contribute from now on. He would be anticipating the day they became warriors.
"Darksky" he greeted the newly named medicine cat. "how's Littleflower doing?"
