Dewpelt was back at camp, after he hunted along the way back and filled up the fresh-kill pile.
He sat by the entrance, waiting for his new apprentice to come to training. He looked at the sky; the sun was almost up. Birchpaw should be coming soon. If not, he'll have to wake her, but he hoped she would be responsible enough to get up on her own.
The tom's tail twitched as he waited patiently. Although tired, he was actually eager to train his first apprentice.

Birchpaw finished her piece of fresh-kill. Then she washed a bit, wanting to look good when she went to meet Dewpelt. 'Uhoh." she thought when she saw him at the entry of camp. 'I'm late!' She gave herself on last lick and ran towards him. "Sorry that I'm late. What are we doing today?" She asked sitting down in front of her mentor. Her eyes twinkled happily.

"Hey Birchpaw!" Dewpelt purred at the sight of his eager apprentice. "Well, since it's your first day, I guess we've got to see the whole of the clan! Come on" He mewed and started out the camp. "And also learn the scents of prey, plants, and other clans" He added, looking back with a friendly smile.
He hurried on quickly, flickering his tail for his apprentice to follow quickly.
He was heading towards the flower patches, nearest to WaterClan territory, which also passes he black swamp...

"Hey! Youre fast!" She yelled as she ran after him. "Do you mean were patroling the border?" And then, "What is that smell? It smells... Watery." She looked about. They were near a black swamp. There was an amzingly bright red berries. "Hey look at these! What are they?" Then she saw some sort of fishy thing. "Hey what is that?"

"Sorry!" Dewpelt slowed down, then saw the berries and fish-like things Birchpaw pointed to. "Well, we're at the Black Swamp. You much never come here without a warrior! It's dangerous because you might fall in, then it's VERY hard to get out. Also, there are creatures around here that aren't common, OR edible. Those berries are poisonous, but you'd better ask the medicine cat about that. And those fishy things aren't actually fish. I'm actually not TOO sure what they are, but they ARE poisonous also, living in the swamp and all."
He smiled at his eager apprentice. "Well, we're kinda patrolling. Mostly introducing you our own territory! And how to know if any other clan cat has been on our lands" He turned and sniffed the air; they were getting close to the Flower Patch. "Common, let's go!"
He started away from the swamp, and made sure he wasn't going TOO fast this time.
OOC: I'm gonna go post in the Flower Patch territory now, k? Reply there, not here. ^^ OR you can just type that u followed or something! =3
