Firemist padded toward the Outskirts. She wondered where Moonlitpaw had gone off to. Shadowfire was just behind her.
ooc: This is another part to the other Snatched! but this half is of Firemist and Shadowfire's journey only.

Shadowfire slowly followed Firemist. A small nagging feeling in the back of the tom's mind pulsed as he thought of how Moonlitpaw had not come back from her little adventure. Foxcloud seemed extra snappy and worried at this news. She had actually snarled and swiped at the nearest warrior at this news with a explotion of emotion. This warrior had had happened to be Shadowfire himself, who ducked under the she-cat's expected blow. The bengal tom had gotten used to her outbursts, and simply offered secretly to Firemist, that they head out on a search party for the apprentice before Foxcloud killed everyone with her rampage.
Sticking his nose to the ground, Shadowfire caught a slight trace of Moonlitpaw's scent in the grass following the river. "This way, Firemist!" the Fireclan tom called, following the trail along the side of the river. Soon the scent of what he guessed was watermint, came to the bengal tom's nose. He even paused at a patch of it, before noticeing that it had thrown him off the trail.

Firemist bounded after Shadowfire. "It's this way," she meowed. She stuck her grey nose in the air, and parted her jaw. Not only had Moonlitpaw come this way, it seemed that two Waterclan cats, a Lightingclan cat, and a Skyclan cat has as well.

"I fear that Moonlitpaw may have some explaining to do..." Shadowfire purred, as he picked up of the other scents as well. He slightly feared for the young apprentice. Meeting cats from another clan isn't accepted by most cats, and Moonlitpaw most likely will be in great trouble if she had been meeting them for a while now.
