Stalked and Hunted (open)

Cloudedbreath saw the breath misted out in front of her. Her sides heaved and her beautiful tail was caught with brambles. A pair of green eyes were chasing her, smelling of FireClan. She also knew that he was too strong for her, in a fight she would loose. Her only hope was too lead him to where other cats could help her, if they wished. That might be a problem, she thought. I'm not exactly the favorite cat in the Clan. She tripped in her haste over a floating chunk of wood and landed in the dangerous mud. "HELP!" she screamed, begging some cat of EarthClan to come to her. "HELP, PLEASE!" She felt her body begin to sink. "Please, no," she sobbed.

Vulturetalon heard his prey's shriek. His tongue flapped as he prepared it for its most important job. Smoozing. He licked his black and white fur clean and stepped into view. "Hello?" he called, making his voice sound as gentle and innocent as possible. "Did someone call?"

OOC: I'd like it for some EarthClan cat to find him here and save Cloudedbreath, but Cloudedbreath will think that Vulturetalon saved her. This will help my plot alot.

OOC: hey i can join! =D im not exactly sure how u'd like this to go... would u like my cat Dewpelt to save her from sinking, or save her from Vulturetalon? xP heh kinda confuseddddd but the plot sounds really cool. =3 maybe if u have time u could post this plot in the mini plot section of this forum, so things'll be more clear. ^^

OOC: is Vulturetalon there at the same place right now?

IC: Dewpelt was stealthily hunting a mouse. He was almost upon the creature when suddenly it dashed off when the sounds of brambles rustling were heard. The light brown tom stood up straight, flickering his ears. He wondered what was going on; usually cats were careful enough to not make such a racket. He shrugged, and was about to go find himself somthing else to bring back to camp when he suddenly heard calls for help.

Dewpelt's eyes widened; a cat must be drowning in the black swamp! The Earthclan warrior quickly dashed towards the swamp, heading for the voice calling for help. His flank heaved as he pushed himself faster to save a life.

At the swamp, he spotted a grey shape in the middle of the dark, sticky mud. Cloudedbreath! He hurried over to the she-cat, well, as close as he could get without falling into it himself. Good thing she wasn't too far into the swamp, and Dewpelt was able to reach out with one paw in the mud to drag her out. Almost there... he thought to himself as he scrambled back up onto solid land, with Cloudedbreath's scruff in his jaws.

The tom sighed with relief as he released her onto the tall grass, then looked around for help to carry her back. It didn't seem like anyone was around though, and the stink of the swamp masked any scent from other cats that may be near (so he won't see Vulturetalon, and Cloudedbreath won't know it was Dewpelt). "I'll go get help..." he muttered to himself, looked at the unconcious she-cat one last time, then raced back towards camp.


OOC: there! what do u think? =D *is proud* LOL hopefully that helps. ^^ will u need him in anything else? if he sees her again ill just assume that he didn't tell anyone, but he knows. =3

Rippedtail was stalking a mouse. She was about to leap when Dewpelt crashed into the forest. "That was going to be my first catch of the day," she meowed. Then she noticed the panic on his face. "What's the matter?" Almost as soon as she said that she saw Cloudedbreath. "Oh, no," she muttered half to her self. "I'll come with you." With those words, Rippedtail raced toward the camp, only looking back once to see if Dewpelt was coming.
