Fuzepaw walked around slowly, not seeing were he was going. Then, the smelt of another cat got his attention, should i flee? fight? wat? man, i hate being blind he thought angrily!!!!!

Wolfpaw dashed through the territory, still looking for her mentor. SHe would never find him! Maybe he was by the very edge of the territory, patrolling. She put on more speed, hoping to catch up to him. Finally, she came to the very outskirts of the territory. Maybe he was hiding from her. Fear raced through her veins. Or maybe, she gasped, he had found out that she was deaf and was hiding from her. She stopped abruptly, a single tear dripping down her silver cheek. She stiffened as she noticed movement. Could it be her mentor?

When Fuzepaw stepped out he smelt a she-cat. A young one he thought to himself. He heard a hiss, but couldnt see anything. "Whos there? I cant see you!" Fuzepaw shouted angrily!!! I wish i could see he thought bitterly!!!

*dances with blackfoxx! yeah!!!*
Wolfpaw saw the cat and crept nearer, not knowing that the cat had said anything. It was certainly NOT her mentor, or any WaterClan Cat for that matter. She called out tentatively, not sure whether she should attack or talk first.
"Who are you? I'm Wolfpaw from WaterClan. You're not WaterClan," She said, wrinkling her nose in surprise. The cat's mouth moved and she stared blankly at the brown tom. His eyes were a strange milky color. Wolfpaw took a couple more steps closer to the tom, eyeing him warily. She could see that his cheeks were slighltly damp, as if he'd been crying.

"Im Fuzepaw from Lightningclan...formally from Waterclan. My sister is Toxicpaw." he aswered, aw man, my cheeks are damp. i shouldnt have cried over being blind. "Im a stupid furball!" he mumbled. He put his head down, waiting for the cat to attack him. His eyes started to water up, I hate this! he thought bitterly. Why hasnt me attacked me yet. "Why havent you attacked me yet?" he asked slowly. He waited for an asnwer for a while.

"You're ...Fu-Fuzepaw?" Wolfpaw said slowly, trying to read his lips. Tears welled up in her eyes again as she raged against her inability to hear. "I'm sorry..." Wolfpaw lowered her head in shame. "I can't hear a single word you say.. I'm not trying to be rude, but..but.. I'm deaf... have been since i was a young kit..." Her voice lowered to a whisper at her confession.
She looked back at the tom, wondering what his reaction would be.

*mrrw* "I... will... try... to... speak... slower... then. Yes... Fuzepaw... and... my... sister... is... Toxicpaw. We... share... something... in... commen... too." Fuzepaw said every wourd very slowly. "Im... blind... if... that... makes... you... feel... any... better." He said even slower so she would see every word that he spoke. He slowly came closer to her. He pressed flanks with her. Fuzepaw was happy that he wasnt wandering by himself, and that he wasnt the only cat diabled. "Do... you... mind... my... smell?" He siad directly close to her face.

She shook her head, grateful for this cat's understanding. She was surprised to hear him say he was blind. They had a lot in common she realized!
"Thanks," Wolfpaw said shyly. "You're the first cat I've ever told, other than my 'parents'. I'll never become a warrior if they find out. I've managed by the skin of my teeth to last this long, but I'm afraid they'll find out soon. What about you?" She was exhilirated to find an unlikely friend in this Lightning Clan apprentice. He was so sweet and understanding. The two cats began to walk slowly, just enjoying the feeling of belonging and freedom from the prejudices and pressures of other cats.

Fuzepaw liked this new cat. Who knew that he would find another cat just sortof like him. "Im... glad... that... you... would... share... something... like... this... to... me..... even... though... we... are... from... different... clans." Fuzepaw added slowly. Fuzepaw felt the happiness of Wolfpaw flow from her pelt. Im glad i've met you Wolfpaw, and he pressed even closer to her. "I... try... my... best... but... sometimes... its... never... enough... for... other... cats. I... still... try... very... hard. Also... i... luv... how... you... still... try... your... best... and... i... know... you... will... make... a... great... warrior." He added happily. And i really do feel this is true.
OOC: I wont always type like this but, you know that i will be talken slow with him........ so yea!!!!!!

"I'm glad I've met you too," She purred, rubbing against Fuzepaw. "You'r-"
Wolfpaw stopped talking as she felt the ground shake softly under her sensitive paws. It felt like the soft padding of footsteps.
Wolfpaw's eyes widened. "Its a WaterClan patrol," she hissed to Fuzepaw. "Come with me, I'll find a good place for you to hide. They can't find you on this territory!" She glanced around quickly before finally finding what she was looking for- a particularly smelly bush. She hoped Fuzepaw wouldn't mind the smell.
"Can you make it back to Lightning Clan territory in time? I don't know how far away from your border we are...If not, there's a bush over here that would hide you perfectly." She explained.
*yawns* I g2g for tonight...ttyt hopefully!!

OOC: *yawn* i think after this, im leaving for bed!
Fuzepaw smelt the bush she was talking about. He could also smell the new cats coming closer. "There... are... five... of... them!" Fuzepaw mumbled softly. Im no where close! I have to hide in this bush... whether i want to or not! He jumped into the bush. "Ouch! You didnt tell me there are thorns!" Wolfpaw appolized, then shoved him in farther. When should i leave? he thought. I cant smell anything, but at least i can still hear. One called out to Wolfpaw and she didnt reply until they got closer, then her reply came. She probably can see them now. I might be here for a while he thought... and listened to the conversation that held place right in front of him. I wish i could see them he thought bitterly, but never spoke another word and listened even closer. He missed the first part of the conversation... that was for sure.

Wolfpaw winced as the leader of the patrol gave her a good tongue lashing for being in the outskirts without her mentor.
"But I was looking for him! I've searched everywhere, and couldn't find Eagletalon!" She protested, hoping the bush was doing a good job of disguising Fuzepaw's scent. So far so good, she thought.
The cat shook her head disapprovingly.
"You should have waited at the camp! I'm sure one of the other mentors would have been more than happy to take over your training today for Eagletalon. And why in Starclan's name would you think he'd be all the way out here? Didn't you hear the patrol members being called last night? Eagletalon wasn't among them."
Wolfpaw gulped. "um. N-no.."
The cat sighed. "Well, he wasn't. You should pay more attention. Come along now, your parents are probably frantic!" The cat turned away, leading the patrol back and murmured under her breath. "Sometimes I think you've got something wrong with your ears!"
"Um... I need to do something first!"
"Make it snappy!" The patrol leader replied, the patrol already moving away.
Wolfpaw waited until the patrol was a suitable distance away before hurrying over to the bush with Fuzepaw.
"I gotta go..." She whispered, voice full of regret. She turned to leave, but then hurriedly turned back. "Would you...do you wanna meet me someplace tomorrow?"
(I used 'she' and stuff for the patrol 'cuz you can't rp for any other cats and i don't really know my clanmates's names enough yet..ooops)

Wolfpaw thought hard. "Hmm... how about here at...." Her brow wrinkled as she tried to think of a good time, since they were both apprentices. "Is after sun high okay? Whenever we have free time, we could just come here!" She suggested, hoping that they could meet sometime soon again. "By the way, " She added, taking slow steps towards where the patrol was waiting. "You remind me of some cat I know.... "

Fuzepaw turned his head in the direction of Wolfpaw's voice. "Yea, I'll try to be here as fast as I can." he whispered softly so her clanmates wouldnt hear him. Then he added, "Who do I remind you off?" he waited for a reply. Her sweet scent was retreating. No dont go he thought. I'll feel lonely again. He spoke to softly for the last part to be heard. She walked off, and he waited for the scent to disappear. I wonder if she did hear me, and he started to head home.

Wolfpaw, knowing her Clanmates were impatiently waiting for her, reluctantly sprinted off to join them, leaving the tom standing out in the wilderness by himself. She glanced back, hearing his last words and gently called out a farewell. Her mind raced, even when she slowed to a walk, matching the pace of the patrol. Those numbers... she had seen numbers like that before... Toxicpaw. That was it! The brave young cat also had numbers burnt into her fur. She wondered if Toxicpaw even knew she had a brother... Her thoughts turned back to Fuzepaw and she found herself already missing the brown tom. It was so refreshing and wonderful to find someone who actually understood what she was going through and with whom she could share her burden of a secret!

Fuzepaw looked up into the sky, even if he couldnt see the sky. I should head back now he thought. I hope she'll keep her promise and meet me tomorrow! Then he rushed off towards his border line. I wonder how Toxicpaw is doing? he thought sadly. I should have never left her... but he continued on by himself.

The next day, Wolfpaw looked longingly towards the Outskirts the entire day. She had barely managed to pay attention during her training session and when at last it was over, she begged to hunt by the Outskirts by herself, promising to bring back plenty of freshkill for the pile. Finally, she padded out of camp, checking to make sure no one was following her before breaking out into a sprint, excitement rushing through her as she approached the meeting place. She wondered what they would do today. Fuzepaw wasn't there when Wolfpaw arrived, so she decided to make good on her promise and catch a few mice while she waited. She couldn't wait until her friend arrived! The afternoon sun shone down on her pelt, setting afire her silvery stripe of fur and making the rest of her pelt gleam.

Fuzepaw rushed away from his mento, Brightstone. "Thnx for letting my hunt by myself!" he called over his shoulder and kept running. Even though he counldnt see where he was going, he still knew where he was. He continued to run, until he spelt fresh blood. Fuzepaw froze and crouched low. He parted his jaws and tested the air. The scent was mouse with... "Wolfpaw!" he called happily he rushed forward, and collided into her. "Sorry!" and he helped her up. He dusted her pelt off then touched muzzles. "I missed you." he whispered and drank in her sweer aroma.

"Missed you too," She purred, happy to be back. "Oh yeah, just let me bury this freshkill, to take back for later!" She quickly buried her cache.
"Wanna go exploring?" She asked, eyes shining brightly. "Maybe we'll find a secret cave or something!" She bounced around for a moment, then remembered something.
(Should she tell Fuzepaw about Toxicpaw?)
