Secrets of the Stars

OOC: This RP is reserved for Snowstep and I. Though, Lakeripple, it would be interesting to have Moonrise watch and/or comunicate from Starclan. (Being she is his true mother and all)




IC: Thawpelt half-heartedly launched after the shrew before him. His clouded mind made the Skyclan tom step and slip on a loose leaf, and slam flank first into a nearby tree trunk. "For the love of...!" Thawpelt hissed, taking out his frustration by slashing his claws agenst the same tree.

The tom's ears pricked as his memory became a bit less clouded as Thawpelt remembered why he was here. Or, why they were here. The oddly colored Skyclan cat turned his dark blue to the snowy she-cat somewhere behind him. "M...maybe we should talk now. I can't hunt for the life of me when I can feel the questions you have breathing down on my mind." Thawpelt gave a small chuckle, before making his way to the Lake of Stars. Each dim star seemed to be glaring at him despite the rising sun as he gazed into the water. His brown tabby tail rapped around snow white paws tightly as Thawpelt felt Snowstep's gaze still on him.

The water seemed nice and cool this morning. Thawpelt dabbed his paw into the water's surface gently. The small ripples seemed to calm the glares of the fading stars. "My only hope is that I don't have to answer them all alone..."

IC: Snowstep quietly followed Thawpelt to the lake of the stars. her eyes shone of sympathy, seeing the usually well-tempered tom so frustrated. she wanted to help in some way, but she didn't know how. all she knew was that he was willing to let her in on his deepest secret, and she hoped that she wouldn't cause any more pain on him this way.

she stopped beside Thawpelt as he dipped his paw into the smooth, clear waters. she watched, with him, at the beautiful ripples that seemed to change the stars reflected on it. she dared to break the silence, though she didn't know how to start. "How... How did you end up here in Skyclan, if you're father's leader of.. Earthclan?" her voice felt loud against the silence. even birds seemed to stop their songs and nothing rustled in the grass. the whole place seemed to be holding its breath.

Moonrise looked down from the stars, her silver face suddenly appearing. "My son," she whispered, tears running down her face. Her first born, the one she had left at the SkyClan border before running off with her unborn second litter. She felt like she had abandoned him, like she had taken what should have been his life away. Both her sons, but they would always have been better suited to Clan life than Sunset... "Look up Thawpelt!" she begged. Sunset always seemed to know when her mother had appeared. Speaking of which...

Sunset stared down at her brother from a tree. He finally found a mate then. Sighing, she wondered if Skywalker even felt the feelings for her that she did for him. She tried to turn onto her back, and fell off the branch, accidentally alerting her brother and his new... friend... of her presence. "Mousetails!" she hissed.

OOC: If you don't want Sunset here, just ignore her.

OOC: LOL Sunset was so funny! xP LOL!!!

IC: Snowstep's heart leaped in surprise when a sudden crash echoed through the silence. The sound seemed like an explosion against the quietness from before. Her fur stood on end from instinct as she looked around the trees and bushes, and spotted antoher she-cat. she looked familiar...

OOC: heh short post, xP dunno what to say.

Moonrise glanced at her daughter and purred in laughter. Sometimes her daughter was a klutz, though usually she was graceful and amazingly skilled at staying on tree branches. She must have something on her mind.

Embarrassment sweeped over Sunset. 'Err, hi. Just following the stars," Sunset mewed, making a face at her laughing mother. "Oh, hello Thawpelt," she mewed, pretending to just see him. "Fancy running into you." She sweeped her tail over her green eyes in embarrassment.

OOC: Could have sworn this post got threw last time! " I just had to edit it a bit for it to fit now.


IC: Thawpelt gave a small sight. "When my mother knew she was expecting me, she didn't want Starclan to know. I mean, Treestar was a leader, and of a different clan! She knew that if I stayed in Waterclan or Earthclan, and I looked like one of my parents, Starclan would know. And maybe worse...another cat with dark intentions may put two and two together." as the oddly colored tom watched the ripples finally fade away, a small yet close thud came from behind. Suddenly alert, Thawpelt whipped around to meet the intruder. Only to be face to face with his sister of course. He knew his sister way to well for this just to be a "fancy running into you" moment. "Sunset!" The Skyclan tom felt a wave of embarrasment flow over him despite the humor in his voice as he called out his sister's name.

"Yah, maybe I'll be going now..." she said, standing up and trying to run away from the awkward moment.

OOC: SUPER sorry for making this thread dead. @_@

IC: "No, no it's ok..." Snowstep meowed before Sunset could leave. She looked down at her paws for a second. "Um, I'm sorry that I was kind of.... mean the first time I saw you..." she apologized, embarrassed. She remembered Sunset alright, and that was during the time she and Thawpelt were still having conflicts. Things were different now. "I wasn't being very understanding, so please accept my apology." she looked back at Sunset, then glanced quickly over to Thawpelt before lowering her eyes again.
