Bored kit

OOC: Oh my...sorry I just kind of vanished there... ^-^" Let me try and fit my post in between your guy's...



IC: "You won't make it to six moons if you pull another stunt like that!" Foxcloud snapped, shoving her way threw the bushes after making sure the fox truely left. Her amber eyes blazed with frustration as Shiningkit growled and stormed off to the freshkill pile. "Kits!" Foxcloud growled, before whipping around and turning on Firemist. The she-cat's eyes turned from frustration to twisted humar. "And where is Moonlitpaw? Not much of a hunter if you let your prey slip between your claws..." The Fireclan deputy teased, giving a crooked smile.

Shadowfire picked his way threw the bush, and gave his bengal fur a few licks before spotting the quaraling she-cats. With a frustrated sigh, the tom set a paw in between the two, turning his pale green vision on Foxcloud. "With all due respect, my deputy, may I say that snapping at a kit helps solve nothing? Besides..." Shadowfire broke off as he took a seat next to Firemist. His gaze turned defiant. "...don't you think Moonlitpaw could get a few moments of privacy in her life?" The Fireclan tom gave Firemist a sideways glance to show that he could not help any farther than this if Foxcloud pressed on.

"She is out on a hunting patrol," Firemist looked back a Shadowfire. She then turned a cold stare, colder then she ever gave in her life, at Foxcloud. Just think! I'm older then she is anyway.

Shiningkit watched the older cats, her eyes cold and calculating. 'Maybe if I wait until they are distracted, I can sneak out of camp!' She thought.

Firemist caught a slight movement out of the corner of her eye. She gently placed a paw on Shiningkit's tail. "I hope you weren't try to sneak out," she meowed looking down into the kits eyes. "You don't want to be punished by having to care for the elders, or worse having to put mouse-bile on all the cats, to get rid of ticks for Darkpaw." Her grey eyes twinkled as she spoke to the kit.

Shiningkit growled. "I don't see what would be so bad about caring for the elders. They're old cats who have served the Clan well! We should take care of them!"

Firemist purred at the kits fierce attitude. Who ever had to mentor her would have there paws full! "What about the mouse-bile?" she asked. "Not even Medicine Cats like that stuff. I'm sure Darkpaw would be more then happy to let someone else do the dirty work for her."

Shiningkit snorted, her eyes blazing. "Whatever it takes to help the Clan!" She growled.

"Anything for the clan? It won't help the clan if you are dead..." Shadowfire pitched in, ignoring a glare from Foxcloud.

"Good then! That can be your punishment for attempt at sneaking and attacking without permission. Maybe you will do some good for the clan if you learn your lesson for once." Foxcloud hissed to the young kit. In the deputy's eyes, the only way to get threw to this headstrong kit, was threw punishment.



OOC: Sorry for the short post. Brain dead over here! Oh, and please excuse Foxcloud. She is really mean and I have nothing agenst you nor Shiningkit. That is just the way she is.

(*shrug* I figured.) Shiningkit glared at Foxcloud. "Fine." She said, her blue eyes blazing. "Whatever it takes to prove my loyalty to the Clan."
