Chase barreled into Dewpelt, not able to stop himself after running so fast. He stood up, shook his head, and turned to run, but saw Wildfight in his way. "Foxdung!" He hissed under his breath as he waited to see what would happen.

"Huh?" Wildflight was confused now, she was about to answer Dewpelt when a strange cat appeared in front of her. "Um...hi. Who are you?" She asked curiously, he didn't look mean at all.

Dewpelt's eyes widened and got up after being barlded into. "eh......." he scented the cat; he wasn't from a clan at all! "what are u doing in EarthClan territory?" he asked, a little on edge while watching Chase.

"I smelled badger a little ways off from here." Chase lied smoothly. He tensed his leg muscles, waiting for an opportunity to run. "So of course, I ran." He cursed himself for not coming up with a better lie. Badger?

"badger?" Dewpelt scented the air without removing his eyes from the rogue. "i dont smell any..." he frowned. "so really, what ARE you doing here? to steal our prey?" he asked. not angry, but suspicious.

Mousedung! He souldn't have even tried that. "Um, I," His head drooped a little. "I'm looking for my parents, but you probably havent seen them." His voice sounded pitiful, and his eyes darted about, looking for an escape.

"No." He murmered sadly. "We're all loners." A real tear dropped onto the dusty ground, not because he didnt know where his parents were, but because they had died in a rogue attack.

Chase shook his head. He couldn't ask for these cats' help. Not after he'd lied to them. He was really looking for his sister, but she might not even be here. She would have a clan name and he had only last seen her when she was, what? six moons? "No," He murmered. "I'll just leave" He sat there waiting to see if they'd let him go...

Dewpelt blinked. "if u must" he said and stepped aside; it was his choice. "but if u have nowhere to go i guess we could help" he offered, giving wildflight a glance.

Chase wandered off, thoughts racing through his mind. Did she just offer to let him join their clan? Him, a loner? Would he even fit in with the clan life? It would probably be better than being alone....
Chase ran back to the two cats. "Um," He murmered. What if that wasn't what they wanted to say? "I-I" C'mon Chase! Out with it! "I'd like to join you're clan." He said finally. He winced and waited to hear the responce.

"Um...I'm not sure though. That, we cannot decide. But we could bring you to camp and let Streamstar our leader know first. He could only decide on that." Wildflight replied. "You want to head over to our camp right now?"

Dewpelt gave the rogue a smile and led the way to camp. he had no idea what streamstar would react to this, but hopefully he and wildflight would be helping someone.
he also hoped that they wouldnt be bringing any trouble to earthclan.
