Snowstep stood in the middle of the Rolling Hills, and looked up at the bright blue sky. All the snow has thawed, and the weather was wonderful after the heavy rain from the night before. The wide field of grass looked beautiful as soft breezes blew.
Smiling, the SkyClan she-cat sat down in the grasses and licked a paw, drawing it over her ear.
Hm... There's not much to do today. She thought with a sigh. Nobody's around... For once she felt like she's all alone around here, and hoped someone would be around.

In the distance, the wind started to blow harder, and dark clouds rolled. It was sign of a giant thunder storm...

Streamstar was patroling around the border when he smelled mouse. Finally! Something to feed my hungry Clan! He thought for the Clan was experincing a drought and it was hard to find prey. He stalked the plump mouse and pounced, as it heard him. It ran and he gave chase. He caught it and killed it quickly. Oh mouse dung! he thought when he saw he was teetering on the border. Then he saw a pretty SkyClan she-cat.

"Who's here?" Snowstep heard a crash and instantly fell into a crouch, her fur rising and claws unsheathed. She sniffed and air and spotted a tom...that smelled of EarthClan...
"...Streamstar?..." She looked surprised to see him. She'd heard of Streamstar of EarthClan before in gatherings, and only seen him during the leaders' speeches before.
"What are u doing here over the SkyClan borders?" She tried to sound normal, but her voice had an edge to it to defend the clan.

The silver tom bowed his head. "Sorry. A mouse almost went across the border. Anyways, I did not go over the border." He nooded and turned around. He strolled silently away.

Snowstep's fur lay flat as she watched the EarthClan leader leave. She thingyed her head and went back to minding her own business.
Suddenly, a loud crack in the sky sounded... as the dark clouds covered the sunny sky and thunder was heard...

Snowstep sighed. Nobody's around anymore.... again. She was so bored. Hm...I guess I'll just wander around... she thought to herself and padded unpurposefully to the fence bordering the twoleg place...
