Smokepaw was out of camp again, after being checked up by the med cat and shooed out of camp by another warrior to make himself useful. he decided to test out his swimming again, and catch a few fish while he's at it.

scenting the air to make sure there aren't any creatures to sneak up on him while he's in the water, he jumped in. the water was so clear he could see the bottom, and it was really cool despite the hot afternoon.

he tried not to splash that much, and a fish swam by him. in an instance he dove down and caught the fish in his mouth.

"I though you would be here."honeydew said.smokepaw was the only person she could trust.she could depend on him

"Honeydew!" Smokepaw went onto land, dripping with water as he set the fish down at his paws. "uh, Nightmoon said i was fine." he mumbled hoping his mentor wasnt mad at him for being out here again so soon.

"okay then what are ou doing out here?"Honeydew loved that smokepaw tired to do things with out her knowing she thought it was funny.

Smokepaw flickered his tail towards the fish. "fishing. oh and practicing swimming." he gave his mentor a weak smile and without another word, jumped into the water again, enjoying the cool water running through his dark fur.

hah to think i was afraid of water before! he laughed to himself.

he duck down the river and came up after a while with a large fish in his mouth, and tossed it up onto land.
