Rascal had just been let out for the night & was cold & alone.He padded around the garden for a few moments his paw tickling from the feel of the dew covered grass.Rascal licked his pelt rapidly a few times & skipped along the garden.Rascal leaped up & Sat on the fence post washing his right paw, he turned his head & stared out into the wilderness, all he could hear where the almost silent songs of crickets.The moon shone into rascals eyes making the glow & shine like almost magic.

Unknowingly, Snowstep came upon the fence... she stopped herself a few taillengths in time to spot another cat on the fence. One who's scent she did not know...
Who could that be? She wondered, thingying her head. ...Kittypet... She didn't plan on chasing him away though. She wasn't on her own territory now and nobody else was around to talk to.
Suddenly, she jumped onto the fence beside the other cat; rather surprisingly.

Rascal jumped back clumsily almost falling off then fence. He shook his head & looked at the strange cat, its scent was unfamiliar it certainly wasn't from around here. Rascal studied the cat for a few moments & smiled briefly.what should i do, attack? rascal thought whilst poking his paw uncomfortably on the fence..rascal lifted his head & meowed a greeting "hello i'm rascal who are you?"

"Hi, I'm Snowstep!" Snowstep mewed cheerfully and licked a paw. Being outgoing, she was calm talking to almost anyone. "From SkyClan. Well, since I don't come here often you probably don't know my scent." she mewed matter-of-factly.
Hm... Rascal doesn't look like MOST kittypets... She thought, looking him up and down. "Well, what are u doing out here so late?" She asked, sitting down steadily on the narrow fence.

"hello snowstep* rascal purred "skyclan yes Ive herd..er..i mean whats a clan?" rascal continued looking from side to side suspiciously.rascal looked past snowstep into the forest where she had came from, he kept his stare for a long while until he looked up to the stars & his eyes grew wide. rascal closed his eyes the lowered his head facing the young clan cat "why are you talking to me i thought you kind didn't like my kind" rascal softly mewed opening his eyes & sighing loudly.

"Um, well... Uh..." Snowstep looked around and scented the air, making sure no other cats were around. "I'm just kinda bored... AND I'm not on SkyClan territory right now... so..."
She twitched her tail a bit and kneaded her claws. "I guess I'm disobeying the warrior code by not chasing you away. " She shrugged and flickered her ears, hoping they're alone.

"Yea but you have to be loyal to your clan" rascal said without realising.rascal twitched his ears & looked along a row of nabouring houses when he herd the sound of dog bark. rascal flicked his ears at the stupid creatures wailing sound "so ummm nice to see you..and all maybe ill see you again but i should get going"rascal meowed quietly whilst jumping down from the post & padding off towards his house, with out turning back.

"Hey!" Snowstep hurried after the tom. "Common, I've got nothing else to do!" she ran ahead of Rascal and stood her ground in front of him. "Why go in such a hurry?" She lowered her face to level his, her eyes shining like he was prey.
She was just joking since she had nothing else to do, but without knowing it her fur started to rise because of the unfamiliar territory and smelled surrounding her.

Rascal stood shocked at the she-cats determination "fine but i mean I'm just a kittypet in your eyes nothing more i dunno why you'd Evan wanna look at me?" he looked at his paw while he spoke.Rascal knew where his loyalties lied & knew that in his blood lied a secret.Rascal turned around & sat down once again looking up wards deep in thought.

IC: Snowstep looked up to Rascal. "I never look at cat by their birth!" She mewed and padded up to him. "I like cats by their personality..." She blushed. "Uh, I mean, as friends" she licked her pelt and couple of times.
Hm... There definetly IS something different about Rascal... Snowstep wondered. But what?

IC:Rascal turned to look at the she-cat & smiled "good because it wouldn't be fair..wherever anyone is born or lives shouldn't be judged its just how they are".Rascal realized he was letting out alot of information that he shouldn't have ever said so he shook his head & spoke "just ecnor me I'm all fluff no brains!".

Snowstep purred at his sense of humour. "no, that's very true!" she agreed with Rascal, and in her head she was trying to piece things together. What he said MUST have something to do with him not being like a usual kittypet...
Looking to the side, Snowstep spotted...
"FISH!" She mewed in surprise. "Are we allowed to eat them?" she asked, padding towards the small pool of shining fish.

Rascal watched the she-cat & followed her to the pound "well yea its easier than catching out of a river eh uh not that Ive ever um know but i mean well..yea"rascal trailed off.Rascal lifted up his head & puffed out his chest "Well then.."rascal meowed silently whilst swirling one unsheathed claw around in the pound.

Snowstep jumped up beside him and looked into the pond... then her eyes trailed to his face. He let something else slip... Was he clan born? ... Unknowingly, her eyes kept watching his, and her heart beat a little faster.

Rascal was watching the fish intently until he noticed the moment of silent.he looked up at the gray she-cat & noticed she was looking at him with a strange look in her eye.rascal felt his paws tingle & his fur prickle."is there something on my face" rascal said to draw off the she-cats unnecessary gaze.Rascal looked up at his owners window then looked behind him where behind the fence a forest stood a great big wonderfull forest It must be a wonderfull life rascal thought to himself.

Snowstep's face blushed up and she quickly looked away. "Um, no, not at all..." She mewed, then saw Rascal's eyes trace from his twoleg home to the forest.
"Hey, do you want me to show you around the forest?" She grinned. "I'm sure nobody's around at this time!" She purred, and hurried back to the borders without waiting for a reply, sure that the tom will follow.

Rascal felt his heart race as he nodded & bounded after the warrior.Feeling the change between flat cut two-leg grass & the hard density of the forest floor made rascals whisker twitch with happiness.Its like nothing Ive ever imagined rascal thought to himself as he kept his eyes on snowstep..such a fascinating cat.Rascal kept his pace for a while before speeding up half way through so that he was running side by side with snowstep.

"Hey!" Snowstep laughed as the two raced through the forest at intense speed. "You're fast!" she kept her speed, and the two were like a blur through the thick trees.
Snowstep panted as she kept going, and not knowing it, her gaze fell on the tom once again.
Suddenly, her heart skipped a beat when she noticed.... that they were on enemy territory now... She's been too distracted to notice that they passed SkyClan borders, and onto FireClan lands...
