Sugar jumps up onto the fence, peering curiously into the woods beyond.
"I wonder what it would be like," Sugar mewed,"to live in the forest. I know I would never survive without my twolegs, but it's nice to dream, I guess."

KItcatcher spied a cat atop a fence.
not cat, he reminded himeslf Pet. pets no cats, not without saving.
The mud-caked tabby started running, and took a great leap, landing right beside the kittypet she-cat. but he had too much momentum, and he careened over the other side with a yowl. in an attempt to slow his fall, he tried to grab onto the other cat, but if he caught on to the other cat, it would just result in both of them falling off.

Sugar extended her claws, holding onto the fence and pulling Kitcatcher up. What is this poor creature? Sugar wondered. "Hello, who are you?" Sugar meowed

Kitcatcher scrabbled at the fence, but then as soon as he was back up, scrambled back with a hiss. if his fur hadn't been coated in mud, it would've puffed out considerably.
moving backwards along a fence with no tail turned out to be a bad idea, and he slipped, nearly falling off again. half-on the fence, he flashed the kittypet a smile. "Me Kitcather, saver of kits! you be who?"

((possibly, but not likely. kitcatcher leaes his "rescued" kits near clans, so sugar would be in a clan if he "saved" her.))
Kitcatcher nodded politely to Sugar, then giggled insanely. "Perhaps, someday have kits. me save for you. yes, save them... save them..." his black eyes went out of focus, staring into the distance behind Sugar.

Kitcatcher shrugged. inside he knew what this meant, but his insanity pushed it aside.
"Oh, well. other cats having kits. none tonight, though. me come through here. find little night and big broken. good kits. big broken no like me, though little night is kind." he said.

Sugar suddenly recognised Kitcatcher's insanity, she knew it all along, but she didn't truly believe her instincts at the time. She tilted her head and perked her ears, waiting for Kitcatcher to continue.

he looked at Sugar, as if expecting her to understand what he was saying. surely it was nonsence to anyone but him. who could keep up with all his nicknames and such?

"Well, I hope you find a safe place." Sugar looked around, disturbed by a noise. Sugar cringed as an unfamiliar stench clouded her scent.
Sharpclaw leaped from the bushes, catching a rabbit and looked up at the kittypet and the wanderer. He recognised Kitcatcher immediatly, but not the kittypet. The FireClan warrior jumped up to join them. Sharpclaw scowls. "Kitcatcher. Name! Kittypet, what is it?!?!"
Sugar looked aghast as she mewed timidly "S-s-s-sugar."
Sharpclaw snorted, "Humph. Sounds like a twoleggy name."

Kitcatcher looked at the new cat with distance in his eyes and a smile on his maw, not quite getting that this cat was angry or aggresive. He nodded a hello, watching the interaction between the two cats before him.
"Kittypet name yes." he said. "Sugar is kittypet. live with upwalkers. Kitcatcher no save, poor sugar...." he drifted off, looking up at the sky with intrest, as if the two cats were no longer there...
