Smallpaw sat among the swaying grass alone, her nose twitching every now and then as the golden sea tickled it. Her mind was in a fog, everything seemed blurry and forgotten; where were her loved ones, like all the others had? Smallpaw's eyes half lowered, she didn't have any of those kind of connections. She didn't even know a purpose for herself. What was this apprenticeship anyway?
Mentor?
All she remembered was a fire blazed tree, and leaves falling down in a wonderful carousel of motion. Sweeping across with wind; remembering faint words of promise.
Smallpaw stared at the other side of the border. One of the rare things that she knew; something about bad things coming from Fireclan. That she ought to stay on this side if it were good for her.
She pawed at small pebble like rocks of dirt, and old weeds and roots strayed about. There was nobody here, nothing to do. She swore that she had a friend somewhere, but couldn't remember. All she ever did was sleep, eat, train, even though training didn't even seem like anything of her life anymore.
Smallpaw's eyes darted up at a flash of silver, Huh? she thought, standing up slightly, her back legs moving backward; her eyes open, flicking across the field, and to a distant forest. Who's there? she called out into the field. The wind rippled over the sun dried grass as a response. Smallpaw's ears flattened, Great...guess I'm crazy too. she muttered.

ooc- Sorry for being gone for so long > ^< (again)
I'm going to be active in this post, until I know for sure I can make new threads again. But umm, I guess I can tell you that Smallpaw is going a little bit insane. She is seeing things, that will soon develop into talking to a invisible cat.
No the cat doesn't really exist but I just wanted to do something interesting.
