Windgale whacked him with her paw. "Hey..." she complained. "You had me all worried for a moment. And then it's just a mouse!" She shook her head, but a grin stole upon her face. "I must be losing my touch. " She darted ahead, already having located a small flock of sparrows. She whirled among them, catching two with her outstretched claws...

RAVENFEATHER Ravenfeather guessed that he deserved being whacked. He probaly did scare Windgale with the way he acted. But what was he supposed to do? The mouse was to easy of a catch to pass up! He was about to tell her that she wasn't loosing her touch, but she dashed ahead to a flock of sparrows. Ravenfeather tilted his head as he admired the way she hunted. She looked just.....just.....so graceful. Windgale was far from losing her touch as a warrior. So he decided to say so. Your far from losing your touch love! Ravenfeather was suprised at the pet name that came out of his mouth. It just slipped out, but he didn't mind, it seemed to fit Windgale perfectly. |

Windgale dropped the sparrows by her feet. Love? He'd called her love! Windgale beamed happily at him. "I love it when you call me that..." she purred, sidling up to him and pressing her body against his in a tender embrace. She drank it in, the sparrows forgotten...
(bleah...my post is lame compared to yours.. DX *is having a brain burp*)

Windgale smiled." How can I ever forget? How, when I feel the same about you? Without you, life's dull, it loses it's shine.. With you, everything's more alive..."She buried her head in his pelt, and breathed in deep, loving his rich scent. He smelt like rich earth, and of the ravens, after which he was named. "Ravenfeather...even the sound of your name makes me happy- There simply isn't words enough to describe how amazing, how wonderful you are...You shine where ever you go, my heart, your voice enthralls me..." Her eyes met his, and she simply gazed into them, content to stand that way forever... jsut the two of them, tail in tail, side by side, in love....

RAVENFEATHER Ravenfeather was completely lost as he gaze into Windgale's bright blue eyes. What had he ever done to deserve her? He didn't know, but he was grateful nonetheless. He wanted to stay like this forever. But forever seemed short as Ravenfeather heard more scuffling within the undergrowth. Ravenfeather repressed a sigh of frustration as he reluclantly broke his gaze from Windgale's. They were on a hunting patrol, and there was a Clan to be fed. Maybe when they were finished they could go spend some more time alone in the Flower Patch. Come on, lets finish hunting. |

Windgale nodded, the movement reluctant. "Okay." SHe meowed regretfully as they broke apart. She resolved to hunt as fast as she could. Prey was plentiful as of now, thankfully, so that wouldn't be too hard. She stopped her ears swiveling towards the source of the crackle, and she timed her jump just right- landing on and swiftly dispatching the squirrel that had been on the ground eating nuts only moments before...

RAVENFEATHER Ravenfeather was a bit suprised at how fast Windgale was hunting. But maybe she was on to something, the faster they hunted, the faster they can me spending more time together without any interruptions. At least, with as little interruptions a cat could have when they were about to be deputy. Ravenfeather spotted a thrush, and quickly dropped into another hunters crouch. He was swift and silent as he killed the bird, making sure it didn't give out an alram call to scare all of the other prey. |

Windgale hunted as quickly as she could, catching several mice, and a nice fat rabbit that had just woken up. Her heart tugged- she wanted to be with Ravenfeather...Not that he was far away, but...she missed that contact between the two of them. She moved faster, placing her prey in a small pile- no need to bury it, they'd be done soon, she noticed with a pleased smile- then, they could hunt for themselves together, or just have a relaxing walk.....

RAVENFEATHER Ravenfeather managed to catch a dove, shrew, and another rabbit. He looked at what all of Windgale caught, and decided that they had hunted enough for the Clan until he sent out another hunting patrol. He trotted over to where he last seen Windgale take down a rabbit. He padded over to her, and flicked her ear with his tail. I think thats enough for now love. |

"Me too," she purred. She rested her head on Ravenfeather's shoulder. "Let's get these back quick, so we can spend more time, just the two of us, without having to worry about the clan for awhile." She added. She purred at the thought. It never seemed like she spent enough time with Ravenfeather- he was so wonderful... She loved him, more than she ever thought it was possible to love anycat. Her eyes, blue pools, softened as she put her tail in the familiar grasp of Ravenfeather's own..

RAVENFEATHER Ravenfeather agreed whole-heartedly with Windgale. Usually when Ravenfeather needed time away from the Clan, he was alone. But this time he had company, and he didn't mind at all. It would be really nice to just be alone with Windgale for a while with no worries. He nuzzled her shoulder affectionately as their tails entwined. Who's prey do you want to collect first? |

"Hmmm, perhaps yours?" She meowed studying the ground. "Might as well take as much as we can." She purred, licking a stray piece of fur on his shoulder down. Still clutching his tail to hers, she leaned over and picked up as much of Ravenfeather's prey as she could, and stood up. "mfff, muif smwells so goosh!" Her eyes shone, "Muff, nrot mas goosh as yu..."
(haha translation- Mm, this smells so good! But, not as good as you....)
