Flashpaw looked through the reeds. His calico pelt flashed, and he stuck his tail out, hoping that Dreampaw would see. He had been waiting for Galaxyshadow to leave for ages. It was just so hard to stay away from Dreampaw! All he wanted was to be near her... Dreampaw! he hissed. Mind if I pop in?

Dreampaw whipped around, fear pressed on her face. Then she saw the calico pelt. "Flashpaw!" she meowed happily. The almost white she-cat pressed her pink nose to Flashpaw's. "It's good to see you! Um, how long have you been here?" Dreampaw wondered how much Flashpaw had heard. Did he hear anything that I said to Galaxyshadow? she thought.

(XD Galaxyshadow the nosy!)
Galaxyshadow stomped off, unable to comprehend disobeying the warrior code.. He got a good distance away when the soft sound of voices reached his ears- one of them Dreampaw's. Galaxyshadow's mood darkened. Could it possibly be that Earthclan cat, Flashpaw? He decided to check and see... Quietly, the white tom crept back, but took a different route. He didn't want to be spotted, and if he took the same way, he certainly would be. He silently climbed a tree, making sure the leaves hid his white form....

Galaxyshadow held his breath. Hopefully he wouldn't have heard anything...... He forced himself to remain absolutely motionless and tried to keep his breathing as quiet as possible...

Flashpaw purred, breathing in the moment. Long enough, he whispered. Quickly, his ears swiveled around as a twig snapped, but when nothing followed it, he shook his head. Probably just some prey, he said cautiously. Who was that anyway? It certainly took him awhile to leave... and he seemed pretty angry. He won't tell, will he?

Flashpaw winced. He had forgotten about Dawnstar knowing. Yeah, well, Forestfur knows too. He sighed, breathing in Dreampaw's scent. He purred. How beautiful could she be? It was seemingly impossible to get any more perfect... I love you, he whispered.
OOC: Has anyone else noticed how my characters are so in the thick of this little mini plot? Flashpaw loves Dreampaw, and both Forestfur and Dawnstar know...

Galaxyshadow's eyes narrowed. How could Dreampaw do this? He hissed quietly, intending to tell Dawnstar about this-Dreampaw had said she knew about it, but surely she wouldn't let Dreampaw make this mistake! His tail lashed as he thought. He began to try to make his way quietly down the tree..He'd heard enough..

Dawnstar stared down at her apprentice from the tree. She knew that Dreampaw would make the right decision in time, even she had when she was young and stupid. Lightmask had gotten past it, turned his sight on someone else, Amberstone, who used to be Dawnstar's best friend. But relationships between Clans never worked out. Dreampaw had to understand that.
She looked down at Galaxyshadow and sighed. Hello, she whispered as loudly as she dared. Looking for me?

"Yaaagh!" Galaxyshadow yelped, somehow managing to keep his voice somewhat low. He nearly jumped out of his fur at Dawnstar's "sudden" appearance, and fell several branches before regaining his grip. "Where'd you come from?" He demanded, his shock getting the better of his manners. "Wha-Aren't you..." He fell silent, unable to form a coherent thought. The white tom could only stare at Dawnstar, his disbelief and shock turning to beamusement.
(XD that was brilliant Lakey XD HILARIOUS ^^ )

Flashpaw looked around, his eyes wide. I don't think he left.
Dawnstar leaped down and stood in front of Galaxyshadow. Why aren't I stopping this? What would be the lesson there? They must learn for themselves what their allegiance is to, if I just stop it, they may feel angry with me forever and would run away. I know what it is like Galaxyshadow, I too had a cross-Clan love. I know this is the right way.

Flashpaw kneaded the ground with his paws. Well, I just popped in to say hello. Forestfur mentioned something about battle training today... He looked longingly at Dreampaw, hating to leave.
Dawnstar inclined her head at Galaxyshadow. We'll wait until Flashpaw leaves, then perhaps we could go hunting with Dreampaw. I can't help but think that I am neglecting her... Dawnstar glanced out at her apprentice, and flicked her silky brown tail. Yes, she had lived this, she knew what it felt like, and she knew better than to intervene. But she didn't like the heartache that would follow...
