Wolfmoon looked both ways. "Mother always said to look both ways before crossing!" She meowed to herself. Then, seeing no one, she raced across the camp to snatch a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and run back. "Kekeke, I's still got it!!" She yowled triumphantly.

Moonlitice watched Wolfmoon with disgusted eyes. The one cat she still considered beneath her, even kits were better than Wolfmoon! The crazy elder, there was no possible way she could have once been a great medicine cat. She must be as old as LionClan! Huffing, Moonlitice turned away.

Starpaw yelped as Wolfmoon dashed from out of nowhere. Her fur fluffed up in shock and she quickly licked it down. "Hello Wolfmoon." She meowed, wondering how the elder had gotten so.....lost in the head. "What are you doing today?" She meowed politely.

The warrior watched Wolfmoon with amused eyes, turning away when a huff from her clan mate Moonlitice caught her attention. Standing the hot-tempered she-cat padded toward her, "hello Moonlitice," she meowed wearily.
This was the first time in a long time she'd tried to talk to a clan mate- with out a temper.
Her gaze turned to Starpaw when she yelped and she smiled before turning her attention back to Moonlitice.

IC: Gulping down a sudden shyness, Bristlefur, shifted on her paws. "So, uh, how are things going for you, er...." she trailed off hopelessly.
Why had she even attempted conversation? Why try to make friends with the cats she grew up with after so long. Redwing popped into her thought, answering her silent questions. But he had nothing to do with right now, did he?

Moonlitice blinked. "Just fine if I don't think about how I was used by Foxcloud and, unfortunately, didn't figure it out until it was too late." Pausing, she contemplated Bristlefur's shyness. "You know, I didn't use to have a lot of friends. I know what it is like to not be used to talking to others, but in my case I was not used to talking nicely. And, it's Moonlitice."

Blinking at the she-cats words about the clans deputy made Bristlefur stiffen. She knew that the clan deputy had done some questionable things, but she still sort of admired her. But she brushed it off now, getting angry over some ones opinion would get her no friends at all.
Nodding at her clan mates understanding Bristlefur relaxed greatly, sitting back on her haunches. "Thanks for understanding, and sorry about your uh being used by Foxcloud...." she trailed off.
"Well you look like your doing good now, thats good," she meowed.
OOC: Bristlefur attempting to make friends? O.o

Moonlitice noticed how Bristlefur stiffened at Moonlitice's words on Foxcloud. Remembering how she used to admire and love Foxcloud, she could see why. But what her old friend was doing was just too much. Sending her off to kill an EarthClan warrior, pretty much forcing WaterClan to join forces with her, and penilizing EarthClan and SkyClan... when had Foxcloud come to be so terrible, stray so far from the path? Sighing, Moonlitice stared at her paws. She didn't hate Foxcloud, and didn't think she ever could, but she could never show her that admiring love again.
"I hope you don't think I hate Foxcloud, I most certainly don't" Moonlitice murmured. "I used to admire her, feel for her like an apprentice does a mentor. She was my first friend..." Closing her eyes, Moonlitice remembered Foxcloud's shining eyes, her warm praise, yet always that look of greed that Moonlitice had failed to see at that time. Foxcloud had always wanted Moonlitice for her own apprentice, that much Moonlitice knew. She had never figured out why, but Firemist had become even more hated by the deputy after Burningstar announced that she would be Moonlitice's mentor. "Yeah, I am doing better," Moonlitice allowed herself. She finally knew who she was and what side she was on.

"Still, the clan is in turmoil and outbreak of illness is the last thing we need. Not to mention Littleflower is missing again and it's hard to gather the herbs, and, well I think I might be over reacting," Darksky meowed. She was always worried about her clan and her mentor. A ripple of concern ran down her sleek black pelt. "At least with newleaf's arrival there will be new herbs to gather."

Bristlefur nodded at Darksky, "I wish it would all end, it's irritating the way the clans are split" she meowed, just talking about the clans strange separation made her tail lash.
"I know the clans have always been separated, but this! This is not needed."

Redwing emerged from the warrior's den, looking sleep-deprived and irritated at... everything. He'd not slept well, and his fur was ruffled from tossing and turning in what little rest he HAD managed to get.
"Blasted alliances," the young tom growled to himself, "Blasted foxes."

Tensing at the sound of the familiar voice, silently Bristlefur paryed she had been mistaken. But Moonlitice had said his name, there was no way he couldn't be there. She slowly turned to look the tom in the eyes, the last time they had met they had been in an argument, then he had helped ave her from a fox attack.
She didn't like him at all, but she felt a sort of kinship towards him. "Er... hi Redwing."

Redwing grunted; his answer to both Moonlitice AND Bristlefur before he planted his hindquarters on the softest-looking patch of ground he could find.
"Too much tension to sleep." The young warrior muttered, "Half of our Clanmates are going crazy these days..."
