Galaxyshadow lead the small group of himself, Grayshadow, and Shadowpaw down the Lake of Stars. It was a pretty place, and it's waters held many delicious plump fish- usually....

Shadowpaw gasped "It's so preatty!" She had never been out of camp before, and she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Yes, isn't it." Galaxyshadow said gruffly. He couldn't argue with her there- to visit it a night was a wonder- the entire lake looked like a patch of Starclan. He thought of Dawnstreak and wished he could take her here one night, and just enjoy spending time with her..

Shadowpaw looked at the look of lounging on Galaxyshadows face. 'I wonder what he likes so much to have such a look about him?' Shadowpaw mused. ' Not that I care' she finished. "I think I smell prey near by." Shadowpaw announced, smelling a warm scent one or two tail lengths ahead of her. "Am I right?"

Galaxyshadow tried to be civil this time. Besides, the thought od Dawnstreak had made him less irritable. "Yes. Go, let's see how your hunting skills are and then we can determine what you need to learn and what you already know."

"Allright." Shadowpaw agreed. "Here goes." Shadowpaw dropped into a crouch and stalked the mouse, trying to be as light on her feet as she could. She was only a bit more than a half of a tail length away from it now....she pounced and...
OOC: Shadowpaw agreed with Galaxyshadow?*eyes bug out* You can decide weather or not Shadowpaw is succesful...

Grayshadow watched as Shadowpaw caught the mouse, he was impressed. "Not bad for a first timer (?)" He looked at the apprentice. However, there were a few things you could have done better" he said, smiling "But impressive none the less" He shifted her pose slightly with his tail. "crouch a little lower, for a more powerful spring. And stretch out a bit more when you jump"

Shadowpaw listened, paying close attention. She quickly burried her mouse and tryed to scent another piece dropping into a lower crouch than she had before, she stalked another mouse. Giving her self more room than she had before, she ponced. 'Yes!' she thought. She had been succesful! Dealing the death blow she looked over at Grayshadow "How was that?" She asked eargerly. She glared at Galaxyshadow 'If he makes a smart remark so help me...' she thought hostily, her claws sheathing and digging into the soft earth beneath her paws.
OOC: Did you notice that ALL of them of shadow in their names? Thats kinda cool ^.^

Grayshadow grinned. "Excellent, Much better" he stopped. He was acting as if he were her mentor, perhaps he should talk to their leader about it, the apprentice seemed to be listening to him. "You seem to be becoming quite the hunter, eh?" he meowed looking over to Glaxyshadow, hoping they didn't start fighting, he'd be the one to have to stop it. He sighed in his mind.

" Thank you Grayshadow! Preatty soon I'll be better than you!" Shadowpaw looked over at Galaxyshadow and she thought of a quick way to wake him up. With a fast pounce, Shadowpaw landed on Galaxyshadow and watched as as he fell into the lake. Almost at once, Shadowpaw started laughing so hard she couldn't breath.

Grayshadow had no chance of stopping Shadowpaw. He tried to but she was already in mid-airm he watched as Galaxyshadow pitched forward into the water and groaned, this wouldn't end well. He ran over to help Galaxyshadow out and shot the laughing apprentice a glance. "Are you ok?"

Shadowpaw quit laughing when she saw Grayshadow look at her, but she couldn't help but make a comment "You may be wet...but atleast now your awake!" Shadowpaw said in a cheerful tone.

Galaxyshadow spluttered, and jumped out of the lake at lightning speed, gasping as he coughed up water. He gasped for a couple minutes, hissing in annoyance before turning an angry gaze at Shadowpaw. "What was that for??? Oh yeah?" He meowed, ignoring Grayshadow for the moment. "You look like you need a bath!" With a quick movement, he rammed into Shadowpaw, knocking her into the water....
(lol I did notice ^^ That is really cool that they have "shadow' in their names! ^^)

"Galaxayshadow!" he called but it was too late, he groaned again and rolled his eyes. This definately won't end well, he felt the cold water splash up at him. His ever-present smile would soon be gone at this rate. "Both of you are acting like a pair of kits and I'll no part in it!" his usually unwavering calmness fading fast, he went over to the edge and offered Shadowpaw a paw.

Shadowpaw took Grayshadows paw and turned on Galaxyshadow. 'Wait.....' she thought to her self. 'I won't get back at him...yet.' "Thank you Galaxyshadow, the water was lovely." she said. "I'm sorry we've been wasting our time bickering! Clan mates should be friends!" She announced. 'Yeah right..if he belives just that hes got to be the most gullible cat in the world...' Shadowpaw thought.

Galaxyshadow burst out laughing. "Hahahahahahaha! If you think I'll believe that you mean that for even one second, then you're the gullible one Shadowpaw!" He glanced at Grayshadow, knowing the tom's patience was not limitless. He couldn't help it- Shadowpaw just had this annoying ability to rub his fur in the wrong direction. He shook himself, trying to get the excess water out of his pelt. "Sorry Grayshadow." He said, "But she-" he cut himself off, though it was very hard. To provoke another confrontation would definitely not be a good idea..

Grayshadow blinked, his patience returning, "Good," he purred. "Now let's have a normal hunt with no more bickering!" he meowed before turning and trying to scent any prey ignoring the other two and focusing on hunting and breathing deepy.

Shadowpaw tryed to scent prey, but an overwhelming scent filled her nostrils. 'What is that stench?' Shadowpaw thought, disgusted. She quickly tracked it to a clump of ferns and came upon a small hole dug in the ground. "Grayshadow, Galaxyshadow, come here, I think I've found something!" Shadowpaw yowled.
