Silentpaw brought his skinny mouse down to the apprentice den. Leafbare's icy wind blew at his black pelt and a shiver went down his spine. Dovepaw was in the den. All coldness was swept from his body has he took a seat down next to her. "Er... It's pretty cold out there, don't you think?" he asked lamely, desperately trying to make light conversation. He took a bite from his mouse, the taste not nearly as good as they were in green leaf.

Dovepaw nodded, Yes, but it wont last long. she said smiling. The snow didn't mind her as much as the wind...wind always made it worse. Do you think the wind will die down soon? she said continuing the lame conversation Ugh...weather. Some conversation Dovepaw.

"It might. Do we really want to talk about the weather, though?" Silentpaw laughed, but he was half paying attention. His claws scraped against the dirt. Say something exciting! He ordered himself. All that came out was, "Did you already eat?" Ugh! What's wrong with you? He scolded in his mind. He wanted so dearly to bang his head against the den's wall, but decided against it because he would look totally stupid infront of Dovepaw and the other apprentices that were near them.

Dovepaw laughed, No. I'm not hungry. an awkward silence began to grow, Something...Something to say...uhh.... Soo...um..how are you? Dovepaw tried. Terrible. Simply Terrible Dovepaw.

"Er... good." Silentpaw nearly screamed those words out. He was saying er much more than real words. Silentpaw stared at his paws for a moment and looked up. "The moon is full tonight," he noted, "Perfect for hunting. It'll be brighter with the full moonlight to see prey." He smiled at her crookedly. Allright, he thought, That wasn't that bad. I think.

Dovepaw slightly jumped when Silentpaw "shouted" she flicked her ear in amusement and then said, Yeah the moon gives off a lot of light. It's why it's so pretty she loved the moon, and wished it was closer. Clouds didn't seem to ruin it either, just made it prettier, Do you want to go hunting then? When the moon is up? Dovepaw asked kindly, ignoring the rules of not leaving camp for now.

Silentpaw's heart lept at the thought of hunting with Dovepaw. "S-sure," he stammered nervously, "I'd love to go hunting. But since we aren't supposed to leave camp this late, we have to sneak out." He smiled mischeifously.

Starpaw grinned widely, her snowy tail curling and waving over her back. It seemed as if all the other apprentices were sleeping. "Hi Dovepaw, Silentpaw! Whatcha doing, sitting here in the apprentice's den? It's SNOWING!" She meowed gleefully, sticking her head out of the den...

IC: Silentpaw looked up, startled, when Starpaw came bursting in. "Er, yea!" He said, jumping to his paws awkwardly, "Hide and seek. Awesome. Let's do it." He coughed. Starpaw was definitly boisterous. He looked up at Dovepaw, hoping she would join in. He would only do it if she did. He smiled crookedly at her again, hopefully persuading her to play.

Starpaw grinned. "No, it's okay, I'll be it!" She meowed, loving the thrill of the chase. There were so many sleeping snoring obstacles, but Starpaw regarded it as a challenge to her agility skills to be able to quickly dodge around them to catch Dovepaw and Silentpaw. "Ready, set... go!" She meowed, her bi colored eyes gleaming...
