Brokenfang and the best trackers, about 6 of them, were walking at a steady pace, using their acute noses and sensitive ears to find some cats called "FireClan". His duty was simple, get the cats in, and keep contact with Silentkill. Once they were trusted, Brokenfang would randomly leave evidence of another Clan hunting on their territory or something. Snickering, he started walking faster, ready to begin.

Starpaw's ears strained forward as she heard the occasional snap of trodden upon twigs and rattled stones. She clambered up a tree, for better visibility. It was probably one of her clanmates, bringing back prey, she thought to herself, but it was always fun to follow them without thier knowing. She grinned. She never suceeded. Her pelt was snow white. The only thing she could hide in was snow..

Moonlitice leaped up beside Starpaw, concealing the apprentice. Her own fur was a dark tabby, easy to blend in with the tree.

Starpaw cast a startled glance at Moonlitice. She had come out of nowhere! "You hear them too?" She whispered. "I thought it might be one of our clanmates..."

IC: A dark shadow flickered past the thin layer of white. The snow had already covered just about everything, making it impossible for any cat of go anywhere without being noticed. Even though there was only silence in the forest, as if the snow had devoured all noise, a dark ginger paw stepped out into view. Burningstar.

His tail flickered to reveal the rest of the morning patrol. Everything seemed silent enough, but in contrast to the pure scentlessness (lol) of the snow, there was a smell of cats... Cats not of Fireclan. Burningstar stiffened, and his amber eyes looked to the side where the scent was coming from.

Starpaw relaxed. "It's Burningstar!" Without waiting for Moonlitice's reply, she clambered down as quickly as she could, jumping the rest of the way and landing with a soft crunching sound as her paws made sudden contact with the snow. "Hi Burningstar! Moonlitice and I found this strange smell, so we hid up there to see who it could be... Instead, we found you. Do you know what that icky scent is?" She meowed, wrinkling her nose.

Brokenfang snarled with excitment. "3, west." The other trackers knew the short, code-like speech. They immediatly went into the new mode, "Pitiful" he called it. One tom wailed out, "Help us!!" Brokenfang refused to speak. He simply sat down, waiting. If his training taught him nothing, it was patience. He would wait to ensnare the prey.

Burningstar was about to respond to Starpaw when he heard a voice calling for help. His ears pricked, and his head instantly turned to the origin of the sound. "Follow me," he hissed, and hurried through the snow.

He narrowed his eyes when he came upon a large group of cats. If there was a fight, the other team had the advantage of 6 to 3. His fur stood up on his spine and he unsheathed his claws, ready to face an attack if necessary. He couldn't say that he didn't expect a group of outsiders, but he also couldn't say that he's ready for such a large group to be here.

Brokenfang smiled. "Ah, sorry, we got lost. Some weird cats from the Marshes attacked us." He immediatly switched to 'dumb, innocent, and charming'. His toothy grin was probably ruined by his chipped and cracked fangs, but his golden eyes were warm. "Can you help us?" The other trackers sat down as well. They swapped into their new personalities as well. The trackers were the most organized of the groups, having new names, personalities, and even histories. One cat was strange though, Cami. She was always taking care of Tika, and she had come with Redfur, Twist, and the other 2.(can't come up with names right now >,<) Still smiling, Brokenfang meowed, "My name's Ace. What's yours?"

Starpaw hurried after Burningstar- and stopped dead in her tracks at the sight of other cats. The one who spoke seemed nice enough, though she wrinkled her nose in disgust as she noticed his broken teeth. She sat quietly.

Moonlitice's eyes narrowed in distaste, and her tail swished angrily. Taking in this group of cats, she felt hate well up in her. She knew the signs of a good actor, having been around Foxcloud a lot. She didn't trust them.

Brokenfang noticed their disgust with a flick of the ear. The trackers picked up on this and started to introduce themselves warmly. Cami purred, her eyes bright and welcoming. Her acting was either extraordinary, or she was really like that. "My name's Ruby!" she meowed, "The other 5 are Jack, Lola, Blossom, Tiger, and Fox." They each rose a tail, signalling when their name was called. Brokenfang had a new respect for Cami, he immediatly let her take control of talking, remaing silent himself.

Cami fell back to her usual nature, feeling at ease. This Clan, according to Redfur, was the host of Foxcloud, the new up an coming evil. She would have to watch them closly.

Glancing at Burningstar, Moonlitice padded up to 'Ruby'. "Don't kid yourself," she muttered. "Burningstar may fall for acting well, but I grew up around Foxcloud. I promise you, I know an actor when I see one... and you are on my list!" She finished with a slight hiss.

[Rosefeather]

Cami only smiled sweetly, raising her head up high titling her head back. "If you think I'm acting, rip my throat out now." Her tone was almost playful, giving her a strange seriousness.

Brokenfang froze. Cami was risking her life over a small matter. She was leaving herself so open for attack, he felt sorry for her, yet he kept his place.

Moonlitice narrowed her eyes. "What makes you think I'll do that? If we really did that to actors, do you think Foxcloud would be alive now? NO!"

[Rosefeather]

Cami lower her head, clicking her tongue. "Such an attitude isn't good."

Brokenfang relaxed. Cami was playing with the warrior. That was at least better than telling the enemy to kill her.

Recognizing what Ruby was doing, Moonlitice widened her eyes innocently and kept quiet.

Dovepaw walked carefully up next to Starpaw nervously. She looked from one cat to the next and then looked at her friend - hoping Starpaw was - What's going on? she whispered. Her attention was at 100% unlike the day where she was in thought and not paying enough attention to notice a rabbit in front of her.

Cami looked at the new addition. "Hello there." She smiled, her fangs glistening.
