Fernfur sat by the suntree, her tail twitching impatiently. Where was he? Maybe she had just come a little early...but she was so impatient today! She remebered yesterday...Coalheart's expression, how his fur had felt aganst hers, his smell...she huffed impatiently. This wasn't like her...but Coalheart's eyes...she wanted to see them again.
The feeling inside of her began to burn like a raging fire...it burned, and set her heart alight...
But why?

Coalheart wreathed through the trees until he got to the place where Fernfur and he were meeting, he padded over to her so it closed some distance. Coalheart's eyes were somewhat clouded, he wanted to tell her really really badly .. but he always got a tight feeling in his chest. Coalheart pushed it aside; Hello Fernfur he said kindly.

"H-hi, Coalheart..." the secent was even better than she remembered. She gave him a friendly touch with her muzzle; an excuse to feel his dark fur again. Her black fur against his...She broke away from him hastily, before he thought she was acting strange...

"Yes...I...I think so..." now that Coalheart had spoken, she began to wonder about it herself. She certainly felt like something was wrong...but something else was right. The fact that Coalheart was here, with her, and they were all alone...that felt very, very right indeed. The emotions inside her were bubbling around, clawing her, stroking her...it was so confusing! "Shall we go?' her voice sounded tense. What was wrong?
What was wrong?
For StarClan's sake...What was wrong with her?!

Coalheart blinked, obviously something was troubling Fernfur...maybe she would tell him later? Coalheart sighed, Okay. he said gently, Where do you want to go then? Or actually what do you want to do? he tried his best not making Fernfur under pressure; she seemed to have enough of it...

"Um, I'm not sure...I don't feel like hunting yet...I'm a little restless..." because of you "maybe we could just...walk? And...talk. Or something." Her voice was getting snappish...this was so not Fernfur. It felt like there was another Fernfur inside of her, trying to claw its way out...it didn't feel bad...but she wasn't sure if it felt good. It was frustrating her, she couldn't understand her emotions...it felt like all those times she had been rejected were building up inside her and turning into something other than regret, shame, and hatred of herself. She almost felt...alive...again. She almost felt like she [i[wanted[/i] to be alive.

Coalheart stopped and then put himself in front of Fernfur staring into her eyes, Are you sure you are okay? You seem...different. he frowned, It's not like her to be...this irritated? no that's not it.. he tried to think of why Fernfur would be this way...what the correct word was.

"I'm fine, Coalheart." she snapped. She pushed past him, and began to walk at a rushed pace. Then she stumbled, and tripped over. She lay there, winded. The feeling was playing with her agility...it was so frustrating!

Coalheart blinked and sighed, Do you want to be alone? basically what he really wanted to ask her was what the heck was wrong with her.
She wasn't like this. Fernfur was kind...not pushy or anything like her current self...

"No!" she almost screamed at him. "I mean...it's fine Coalheart." She scrambled up, blushing red, then she sighed and sat down. She stared at the floor and didn't look up. She didn't feel alive anymore...she felt...ohh, she didn't know how she felt. She let out a wail, not caring what Coalheart thought. It wasn't fair...she didn't want to be all mixed up like this. She wanted to find the name of that feeling in her heart...

Coalheart blinked staring at Fernfur, he was so confused... He walked up beside her and pressed against her; What's wrong? You can tell me...it's just you seem so ... different today. Coalheart said these words as gently as he could. He was just as confused..what was wrong with Fernfur..
He really wanted to know. Coalheart would do anything to fix the problem that Fernfur had.

Coalheart blinked, What was he doing to her? how could he do something to her to make Fernfur get so mixed up in emotions. Coalheart allowed her to scream, he didn't flinch or anything. It was best to let her get all the emotion held up in her out.
When Fernfur finished Coalheart stayed silent for a few moments and almost looked like a statue. Coalheart finally moved by hanging his head and whispered;

Fernfur panted after her speech. She opened her eyes. She suddenly...understood. Coalheart...was made for her. They were meant to be together. That's what her body had been trying to tell her. "..." she didn't know what to say...but she knew what she was feeling now.
((i'm thinking sunstorm should really join this thread now...and confess his love. lol))

Coalheart also remained silent he didn't know what to say either just stared at the ground. He didn't want to look at Fernfur after what he just said.

(What a great idea! lol he won't tell if he thinks Coalheart is there, so I'll pretend that Coalheart blended in with the shadows really well okay? lol! I'm going to use your idea if that's k moondust! =D) Sunstorm hurried out of camp. There was something he desperately need to tell Fernfur. It had taken all night for him to figure out what he was going to say, and that he really loved her. Please let me find her alone... He thought, hope rising in his heart.. He caught Fernfur's sweet scent and jumped for joy, not noticing Coalheart's scent along side hers..... (lol *after outburst and noticing Coalheart*  ; *deep red blush* *fail* lol) |

Fernfur glanced up at Sunstorm. "Oh, hi..." she murmured. Her voice felt tense after her emotional outburst at Coalheart...and his response! She was a little irritated that Sunstorm had decided to join them, though. She had been hoping to be alone with Coalheart. "Was there something you wanted?" her voice was now flat. She was only in the mood...for Coalheart.

Sunstorm meowed happily. "Fernfur! I was looking for you! There's something I really need to say.. It took my all last night to work up my courage to say this, but...I..." He fiddled with a leaf on the ground and then looked up at her, not noticing Coalheart. "I love you!" He finally blurted out, not noticing her impatient expression. Suddenly he became aware of the fact that Coalheart was there also....
