Oakleaf stretched out his full length in the light of the warm sun, smiling inwardly. His life...was perfect. He was a well respected warrior, and everyone seemed to like him well enough...he was so happy. He couldn't deny...he loved himself. He was strong, respected, handsome, he had everything a warrior could wish for
((anybody wanna burst his bubble of happiness? lol))

IC: Life. Fuzepaw hated the one word. He hated everything in life. He just hated it. Period. His sightless eyes stared ahead into the never ending darkness.
Fuzepaw shook his head, walking forward. Usually, he was careful, but this time, he could careless. Not like any one is here . . . When he finished that thought, however, he tripped over something. Hissing, he could smell that it was Oakleaf. Joy! he thought bitterly

Oakleaf jumped as the young cat tripped over him. He scented Fuzepaw's scent. "Hello, Fuzepaw." he smiled. "Are you alright?" he didn't give the younger cat time to answer. "Hey, I bet some training with me would make you feel better! How about it?" Of course, the apprentice would say yes. Because training with Oakleaf is the best treat an apprentice could have, he thought.
OOC-Wow, and people say that I'm emo! I'm nothing on this kitty...

Fuzepaw fell silent. How id luv to burst that stupid happy bubble! Oakleaf didnt really give him a chance to answer much. When he finally could speak, he smirked. "Why would i want to train with you?!" he spits out His tail lashed out behind him. His sighless gaze glared forward at where Oakleafs scent was.
Why is he so happy?! he thinks irritated He turned to stalk the other way. "And training wont make me happy . . ." he adds, growling

Fuzepaws fur bristled. "Well, it doesnt make me happy!" he growls back He hated being an apprentice. He had been one for Starclan knows how long! He just wanted to be a warrior now . . .

Oakleaf was now struggling to keep his cool. "You don't know that, you've not trained with me before." he was fighting to keep his voice pleasant. "And you'll never be a warrior if that's how you talk to cats of a higher position that you." He just couldn't understand Fuzepaw. There was nothing wrong with the apprentice's life, he was just a nasty character as far as Oakleaf was concerned. Insolent young fox-dung he thought.

Fuzepaw hissed crossly. He turned to face Oakleaf. "It doesnt even matter any more! We all will die some day! End of story!" he growls He shook his head. Some sooner than others . . . A sad look crossed Fuzepaws angered face. Toxicpaw . . . or are you a warrior now? Leaving me behind in the dust? Like all the other cats around here? He missed his older sister. She understood him, but he had left Waterclan. They treated him like an elder when they found out he was blind. He fled from that clan, and stumbled across Lightningclan. None, however, knew that he was blind. He had kept that a secret for many moons but . . . how much longer could he hide it from the other cats? He didnt know for sure.
He snapped back to the present, his face scowling again. "Why should i treat others with respect if i never reseave any myself?!" he challenges No cat was worther of his respect except Wolfstorm and Toxicpaw. No other cats respected him, even if he did try to be kind and what not.

Oakleaf tipped his head to one side. "I do...see what you mean...I'm...sorry." He could hardly beleive he was apologising to an apprentice, but he meant the words. "I can see you maybe have problems. I don't give much credit to apprentices...but perhaps I should more often. They deserve respect more than half the warriors in the forest do. So...please accept my apology." The words were humiliating, and it hurt to force them out, but he wanted to be understanding. He wanted to try not to be so proud, to be a nicer cat.

Fuzepaw let out an annoyed sigh. "Be . . . nicer? Something like that . . ." He shook his pelt, letting it puff up slightly. Maybe it was time to tell another cat about his blindness. He hated carring the burden all by himself. But . . . am i really ready to tell some one else? he wonders

There was something going on inside that apprentice's head. Something deep. "Some cats are just naturally nice. Some cats aren't. But with cats who aren't, cats who don't always say what they think they want others to hear...they are probably the best cats. It means that they always speak from their hearts, and say what they mean." he assured Fuzepaw. "That's a good thing. Not something you need to change. The only thing a cat like that needs to learn is to just not say very much." he laughed. "You don't always have to say something, especially something mean. It's okay just to think things. But speak up when you have to. That's my motto."

Fuzepaw fell silent. "Thats a good motto." he finally meows He sat down, letting his fur relax a little. It was time. "Oakleaf, do you think you could keep a secret?" He needed to get this off of his shoulders. Just telling Wolfstorm and Toxicpaw wasnt enough. They werent in his clan any more.

IC:Snowshadow padded into the clearing. Her heart lept with the scent that caught her attention. Oakleaf! What would she do? What should she say? She had to do something that would catch the warrior's gaze. She was so tired of admiring from a far. Maybe she could...no. Now wasn't the time. She wouldn't make a fool of herself in front of him. She would see if she could guess at his feelings for her. If he had any...she sighed. She could at least say hello. No harm would come to her for that.
"Hi Oakleaf." She said shyly.

Oakleaf jumped. He had been so entranced in what the apprentice had been about to say, that he hadn't scented the other warrior coming. "Snowshadow! I didn't see you coming there!" he laughed when he had recovered. "How are you today?" his voice was polite, but it still had that slightly proud, self-assured tone it always had. But Fuzepaw had managed to take that down a little...

IC: Snowshadow blushed. Oakleaf acually talked to her! She hoped that she wouldn't ruin this moment. It was certianly one of the best moments in her whole life. If only Fuzepaw wasn't here...but she guessed since she barged in on their conversation, his presence here in this glorious moment could be tolarated.
"I'm...fine, Oakleaf. I didn't mean to...barge in. I just thought that it was such a wonderful day and all my duties are finished. I thought it might be a good time for sun bathing. I guess I could leave, if you want me to. It looks like you and Fuzepaw were having a good talk."
Stupid Snowshadow. You were babbling. Now he won't like you, he'll just think you're an mouse-brain.

Fuzepaw opened his mouth, but quickly shut it. A soft hiss escaped him.
"Snowshadow . . ." he grumbles There was no way he was going to say anything now. She had blow it. And he was going to share it to! "No, your not barging." He stood and stetched, then sat again. He made his gaze go to the ground. "It wasnt important anyways . . ." he adds with a hiss

Oakleaf looked from Fuzepaw to Snowshadow, and back again, choosing. He settled with the pretty she-cat in the end. She was prettier. Yes, that wasn't the fairest of judgements, but it was just how his mind worked. And seeing as she was pretty and she apparently liked him, he decided he would flirt. Because he was good at that. "Oh no, you weren't barging at all! In fact, it's lovely to see you out here, on this beautiful day. It really is beautiful, don't you think? You fit right in." he smiled his most charming smile. " Would you perhaps like to hunt with me? Oh, and Fuzepaw, you could come to if you wanted, there was something you wanted to tell me, wasn't there?" he said carelessly, to be polite.
