Treestar's ear twitched impatiently. This seemed to be going nowhere. Breifly, the tom thought. How could he twist this around?
After a quick break to think, the Earthclan leader turned and climbed silently up the nearest tree. Taking careful heed to stay on the side away from Amberpaw. Just in case his apprentice was to glance over in the correct durection. Tail twitching, the leader's nimble tabby legs stepped softly as he made his way out onto the branch. His amber eyes intent on the apprentice below.
If Amberpaw can't find me, maybe I can test her reaction to an ambush attack? Treestar ponderd in his head.

Amberpaw blinked and then hung her head, I lost him. she cried inside of her head. She felt like such a failure... Amberpaw took the rabbit in her jaws and tried desperately to pull it towards where her and Treestar were before but ended up falling. Amberpaw gave a huff of frustration glaring at the rabbit, Did you have to eat so much!?! she asked. I hope Treestar is still waiting...if he isn't I blame you! mentally yelling at the rabbit.[/i] her eyes stared at the rabbit a few minutes, Awww...but it's so cute..I can't blame it---Pull yourself together![/color]
ooc- Having a mental fight with yourself lol. This has happened to me before >_>

OOC: Sorry, current plot got me tied a bit. @_@"
Pausing at the end of the low branch, Treestar wiggled his haunches. Amber eyes pinpointing his apprentice's position and where he was aiming to pounce. Just before the actual pounce, the leader let out a sharp breath as a small warning to Amberpaw. Weither she heard it or not Treestar did not know. But now, this slim light brown tabby tom was propelled to the young apprentice. Paw aiming to land around Amberpaw like a twoleg cage. Normally it would be wise to aim for the back, but the leader was simply trying to test her reflexes. If he got her, nothing more then a few hints would be said.

Amberpaw squeaked and made herself smaller, she trembled with shock and felt herself somewhat getting upset. No wonder she couldn't find Treestar.... She looked up at Treestar and turned slightly putting her paws on his side trying to push him down; it would have been a better attack if she had unsheathed claws...but then they would be digging into Treestar's lungs. You scared me!!! Amberpaw growled, but not totally angry.
ooc- It's hard to explain >_> i did my best to explain though.

OOC: I understand, no worries. ^^
IC: "Well, at least you know what to do in this kind of situation..." Treestar purred, flicking his ear to her paws on his flank. Stepping off of her, the long haired tom began to groom his paw. Running it over a ear every so often. "Though I will not lie. Origionally it was going to be a scent test. Sorry to say you failed that." failed was such a strong word. Even if he said it with a mellow and unharsh tone, the apprentice was bound to be upset by this.
OOC: I'm not having much luck posting with Treestar today. D=

Amberpaw sighed hanging her head, I'm sorry.. she said softly. He probably thinks that I should be better then this. Treestar is the leader after all looking away, I have to do better next time then... she looked back at Treestar, What's next? she asked wondering but determined not to fail.
