Flypaw padded after Yewfrost, her tail held high, her gaze on the new she-cat.
She was curious about her, very curious. "So....umm..." she stopped, what could she ask that wouldn't sound so intrusive?
She sighed trying to focus on hunting for prey and herbs.

Yewfrost sniffed the air. She pounced at a clump of heather and came out witha shrew in her mouth. "Nice prey here!" she meowed sounding muffled.

Flypaw grinned, "good one."
Her eyes flickered to a nearby bush and she immediately dropped into a crouch. She leaped forward, ending the kill with a swift bite. "Yep" she agreed threw a mouth full of fur as she pushed from the bushes with a mouse dangling form her mouth.

Yewfrost suddenly pounced sideways and flipped around to face Flypaw. She was holding a vole. "Hey... Um....do you have... well... um... you know... parents?" she asked sheepishly.

Flypaw shocked by the question froze, her mouth dropping open causing the mouse to drop heavily in the leafy ground. Parents?
"Umm...I...Yes..I mean no, I did but not anymore...They uhh.." She stopped, her voice had started to shake. She never spoke about her parents, hadn't since they had....

IC: Lotuspetal bounded into the flower patch, feeling light and happing from the day before when she had her conversation with Dewpelt here. Suddenly, she felt a deep sense of awkwardness and sadness and felt very confused. "Hello Flypaw, Yewfrost," she meowed warily, "Is something wrong?" Her eyes bounced from the one cat to the other, feeling like an intruder. all happiness from the day before burnt out.

IC: Flypaw looked up when there clan mate Lotuspetal bound up to them, she smiled a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Nothings wrong we were just hunting for prey and herbs, do you want to join us?" she asked kindly feeling somewhat shy now that there were more cats showing up.

Nodding shyly Flypaw turned padding toward a small bush, her ears perked. She shuffled around for a few seconds before she backed out with a mouthful of berry's, "ound, dese" she meowed threw a mouthful of berry's.

Smiling shyly Flypaw quickly dropped the berry's, "sorry, I said Found these" she meowed her fur prickling with embarrassment. This was more attention then she was used to, but somehow it felt nice to have others to talk to. She smiled again to herself glancing around the area, "maybe we can hunt some more before getting back to camp."

Yewfrost stepped backward. She was just about to talk to Flypaw about parents, when Lotuspetal showed up. "Er... Hi." she stammered, "I'm Yewfrost." She glanced to the side shyly. She looked at Lotuspetal quickly. Her tortoiseshell pelt made her freeze. "Petal..." she whispered, just loud enough for Flypaw and Lotuspetal to hear.

Lotuspetal whipped around quickly she was surprised at her own interest of what the other warrior had to say. "What?" The reaction was so dumb, so normal. Anyone would have said it. "I mean uh," she looked at Yewfrost, "did you say something?"
