Bluecloud paid no heed to Echosteps words, his eyes still pinned to Kurapelt who still was glaring furiously at him, her tail lashing. He smirked, could he help that the rouge would never be good for anything. Snorting to himself she sat back on his haunches, looking down his nose at her. He would watch her so called training.
Kurapelt turned away from the male, her fur still standing on end, oh how she hated males! She smiled at Echostep and Dewfeather, but it felt like more of a grimace to her. "So what's next?"

Echostep let her gaze linger on Bluecloud, openly glowering him like she would a new, insubordinate apprentice. She'd have to have a talk with Graysky about him.
Snorting smugly at that thought, she turned back at Kurapelt. "Not all the toms here are as mousebrained as Bluecloud." She winked a copper eye at the former rouge. Then, in a louder voice, she said, "Alright, get into your crouch again." Her words were blunt, and she dug her paws into the ground in preparation, but did little else. "Now, sheath your claws, and attack me."

Sliding back into her crouch she sheathed her claws, and then she sprang batting her paws at Echostep's head.
In the back ground Bluecloud snorted again.

Echostep waited until the last second to duck and come around Kurapelt from the side, battering her shoulders.

Shadowpaw burst in the camp gasping for breath. She saw some cats, and ran over to them. "Has any cat seen Rosefeather or know where she is?" Shadowpaw said, urgencey in her voice. "Its really important!"

Echostep froze when Shadowpaw bounded into view, and instantly pricked her ears at the apprentice.
"She was going out somewhere," the older warrior replied, "But I'm not sure where and how long ago. Why?" Glancing apologetically at Kurapelt, the tri-colored she-cat bounded over to Shadowpaw. "What's happened?"

"When we were out hunting by the lake of stars and we found an old badger set!" Shadowpaw tryed to explain as quicky as possible "We think it might still be in our territory!"

The fur along Echostep's back rose, and she hissed under her breath. Badgers!
"How old was it?" She meowed urgently, before turned to Dewfeather and Bluecloud. "Send out a warning that there could be a badger roaming around, especially to the queens and the elders. If we've got one on the loose, we need to be prepared." Echostep paused and looked around, copper eyes narrowed. "Someone needs to find Rosefeather."

" Galaxyshadow said it was stale, but I'm not sure how stale it was. He told me to go to camp and try to find Rosefeather. Is there anything I can do to help? I can't stand just waiting here doing nothing!" Shadowpaw said, ending with a slight frustrated hiss.

Bluecloud bound across the clearing intent on warning the queens and elders.
Kurapelt watched him go, before turning to Echostep, Dewfeather and the new warrior."Can I help? There's gotta be something I can do" she meowed her fur bristling when she smelled the others cats agitation.

Echostep listened to Silentpaw for a moment, and then glanced at them both. "Galaxyshadow's right." She affirmed, swinging her head around, "We need to alert Rosefeather to this. Why don't you two come with me to look for her..."
Echostep whirled to call after Bluecloud--he may have been obnoxious, but he was a warrior. "Make sure you let the other warriors know, too! Don't leave the camp unguarded!"
OOC: Does anyone know what thread Rosefeather's in?

"Well..." Shadowpaw said, thinking hard "I think she might have gone to Earthclan for the meeting thing or something." She finished nervously. If she really was in Earthclan, they might not be able to get to her very soon at all.

Echostep growled to herself, but nodded to Shadowpaw as she went. "If she's gone to EarthClan, we can't follow her. Alliance or not, we don't need to go from dealing with a fox to having our ears clawed off from crossing borders."
