OOC: this thread is for Dewpelt and Lotuspetal
IC: Lotuspetal stretched lazily in the flower patch, hoping someone would bug her. Today had been a lazy day, nobody having time to talk to her, for building up the camp after the battle with FireClan, and her mind clouded with thoughts about Dewpelt.
She shook her head angrily and told herself to never think about him for the rest of the day.
But his face kept slipping back into her mind. She sighed distractedly and batted away a butterfly the drifted near her face.
Strangely, she started thinking about her sister, Echo. What would she do in a situation like this? Where was she? Was she even alive?
A crunch of flowers pulled her out of her day dreaming as she turned to see who the intruder was.
Dewpelt. And he was alone.
Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him. A chill ran down her spine and heat escaped to her face. "Hi, Dewpelt. Did you fix up the camp yet today?" Immeadiatly she felt embarrassed. Of course he has! Everyone in EarthClan had.

The light brown tom looked up to see Lotuspetal lying comfortably in the flower patch. He'd just been patching up the camp barrier, and came back out to collect more brambles and thorns to weave through the broken bushes. Although most cats have been working all through the morning, he couldn't blame the calico she-cat for taking a break; every cat's been exausted recently from the battle. his own wounds were still healing.
"Lotuspetal!" he greeted the she-cat with enthusiasm, glad to see her. He almost bounded up to her. "yep, we all fixed up the camp well today," he purred with satisfaction. "The camp barrier is almost done, only a little more work left till it's all covered up."

"That's great!" she meowed, "I'm glad to hear it." She got up to touch noses with him in greeting. She scratched uncomfortingly at the thorns from the barrier that stuck on her pelt.
