Silentpaw didn't realize that his teeth were chattering. Actually, he didn't realize he was cold at all. He was having to much fun. "I-i'll s-survive," he stammered. "This r-raining should turn to ice or s-snow now," he continued, trying not to sound weak infront of his denmates, "The air is freezing, plus it's leaf-bare." Mouse dung, he thought gloomily.

Sunpaw smiled slightly and looked at the two shivering denmates, they looked quite funny now that there wet fur clung to their bodies. "I'm sure you'll warm up soon" she glanced back outside then looked at the soggy two once more "What were you doing out there anyway? I could have walked to the other side of the forest and heard you" she asked almost rhetorically and smiled jokingly. She squeaked as she went to walk away from the entrance and get more comfortable again, when she placed her paw forward into a tiny muddy patch. Sunpaw snapped her eyes shut and counted to three.

Starpaw shivered. "Brrrrr... now I'm regretting that." She meowed, teeth chattering together. "Hi Sunpaw! Oh, Silentpaw and I were just having a bit of fun in the rain." She tilted her head to the side. "What's the matter Sunpaw? It's just a bit of mud."

Sunpaw wasn't fond of getting dirty one bit, but she also didn't like looking silly in front of the other apprentices. She gritted her teeth and slowly withdraw her paw, putting on a obviously fake grin. "Heh, yeah, It's just a bit of mud" she nodded, then again almost to herself "Just a bit of mud". She moved so the others Silentpaw and Starpaw could get to the warmer back of the den, away from the entrance. Franticly trying to wipe away the mud and trying not letting the others see her attempting to do so.

(lol, poor Sunpaw- wouldn't want Starpaw or Silentpaw to sleep next to her ^^ lol)
Starpaw padded to the back, teeth still chattering. "T-t-thanks Sunpaw." She meowed gratefully, choosing a nest to sleep in. "Hey, do you and Silentpaw want to go hunting or exploring tomorrow?" She asked, beginning to grow sleepy. Her mouth opened in a large yawn as she spoke.

Sunpaw nodded. "Sure!" she had been spending most of her time grooming her pelt recently, something fun like that would do her some good. As she finished wiping away the last of the mud she moved back towards the nest she had been sleeping on before, seeing Starpaw yawn made her want to yawn. She shook her head to remove the sleep that persisted all day. "How 'bout you Silentpaw?" she asked looking across to him.

Starpaw smiled brightly, but another larrge yawn split her grin. "Aw man," she meowed sleepily. "I'm soooo tired... Tomorrow, we'll get up bright and early and do something.." She fell asleep, dreaming of what the three of them would do together...
(lol Starpaw falls asleep really quickly ^^)

Sunpaw blinked, amazed at how quickly Starpaw managed to get to sleep. "Tomorrow it is then!" she purred before lying down and, eventually, getting into a comfortable position.

Silentpaw decided against saying goodnight because his denmates were already asleep. He flopped to the ground and rested his head on his paws. He closed his green eyes and soon drifted away to dreams that StarClan granted him.
Next morning: Silentpaw blinked. Pink light was coming through the den opening and he realized that dawn was almost over. He jumped up and prodded Starpaw and Sunpaw gently in the shoulders. "Wake up!" he murmured.

Sunpaw was walking through the forest surrounded by fat lazy mice she took in a deep breath, savouring the scent. She felt something in her ear and flicked it. after a few moments it reappeared and didn't go away this time, she swatted at an invisible force before snapping her eyes open.
She saw Starpaw and Silentpaw and blinked again. The pink light shining in her eyes. "Whu-?" she shook her head and stood up, stretching out. "Giant voles? Attacking the camp..? Only i can save us?" she mumbled before finally realising what was going on. "Oh, Hey!"

Sunpaw blushed underneath her fur. "Oh Yeah!" she said quickly, eager to change the subject. "Where are we going?". and the rubbed the sleep from her eyes with here paws she slowly began to wake up and recognise the scents and sounds properly.

Starpaw giggled. "Giant voles? Great StarClan, Sunpaw, that must have been some dream!" She laughed, dashing out of the den. "C'mon! Last one out of a camp is a giant vole!"

Sunpaws ears pricked as she heard Starpaw's call. "No fair! You got a head start!" she shouted back, forgetting quite a few cats were probably still asleep. She bounded after Starpaw, desperate not to be a giant vole! "Lets go!"

Starpaw's laughter, loud and rowdy, rang out. "Hahaha! you'll never catch meee, you giant voles! I'm the fastest cat ever- Starpaw!" She ran breathless from her giggling fits..

At this Sunpaw redoubled her efforts to catch up, shouting "But the Sun is brighter than the stars, Surely it is faster too!" Her long creamy fur waving behind her and bouncing with each leap. She looked over to Silentpaw then looked back just in time to swerve away from a bypassing warrior who without realising had crossed her path, she stumled slightly and nearly fell but soon regain balance and resumed pumping her legs backwards and forwards as fast as possible.
