She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her return." Treestar paused, setting his amber eyes on Acornpaw. The she-cat had waited long for this. "Acornpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?" as the apprentice answered, Treestar briefly pondered her warrior name. Acornpaw had a lot of attitude at times. Spunk that kept her going. The she-cat had a lot of heart. . . [/b]"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name: Acornpaw, from this moment you will be known as Acornheart. StarClan honors your patients and your loyalty, and we welcome you as a warrior of Earthclan."[/b]
Sadly, Treestar didn't have the time to jump down and touch noses with Acornheart just yet. Another patient cat was waiting for her time too. "Amberkit, how about you step up as well?[/color]
OOC: sorry for skipping Acornheart's answer, there. Wanted to get to Amberpaw quickly. ^^"

Amberkit looked up and then squirmed with anticipation. She jumped up struggling to get on the ledge. When she finally got up Amberkit looked at Treestar excitedly, Yes Treestar? her voice trembling with excitement.

Dewpelt watched with pride as Acornpaw finally became Acornheart; the warrior name she had well deserved for a long, long time. she finally had it. Acornheart's mentor nodded with pride, and congradulated her by calling out her new name. "Acornheart! Acornheart!"
then, Treestar spoke once again. He was glad that his leader didn't seem to be as weak as before, even after the attack just a few suns ago. he sat back down and watched as he called upon Amberkit. yet another new apprentice; Earthclan was doing ok during such dark times.

Windgale smiled and chanted Acornheart's new name, but quieted down as Treestar began speaking again.. A new apprentice! She purred.

Lilypaw shifted her weight. A new warrior and a new apprentice, yey. She wanted to be excited, but wasn't it all preparation for the coming battles?

OOC: Ugh...there arn't really any avaliable warriors for Amberpaw that i can find! D= Is it okay if I stick her with Treestar (only for a while if you want)?
IC: Treestar paused the ceremony. His amber eyes slowly fell on each warrior in turn. It seemed off that almost none of them he could trust. How could a leader not trust his own warriors? But it wasn't really trust. Most of them were young yet, and the older warriors already had apprentices. The tom gave a slow, silent sigh. "Amberpaw, I do believe it seems I must take care of your training." To avoid any unhappiness from either the apprentice or other warriors, the Earthclan leader added something quickly. "Don't fret, Amberpaw. When the time comes, I will vanquish my mentor statis over you to another." Silently, he placed his nose on Amberpaw's forehead to close the ceremony

Lilypaw meowed her approval. The Clan must really suck for the Leader to take over apprenticeship without obvious reason.

Amberpaw blinked and her excitement died down, Treestar would be her mentor for no reason? She looked at Treestar trying to search for the answer to why, but soon gave up. Amberpaw forced herself to smile, Thanks Treestar!

Lilypaw felt a twang of pain as she thought of her own mentor. It had been a long time since she had been training, but maybe that was her own fault.

Windgale meowed in surprise. Treestar hadn't taken an apprentice for awhile now! But Amberpaw would gain from Treestar's wisdom and experience and be a better warrior for it. She nodded and looked around her, and saw Lilypaw looking dejected...
"What's the matter Lilypaw?" Windgale asked quietly, leaning over to the apprentice. "Why so glum?"

Lilypaw jolted from her thoughts. "Oh, I'm just jealous of Amberpaw, she gets to be trained by the leader, a huge privilege." she lied quickly.

OOC: So...is that thread still going on?
Finally, the time to touch noses with Treestar, Acornheart felt a rush or pride and a twang of excitement overwhelming her. It was a new feeling and a wonderful moment that she'll always remembered. Turning towards her clanmates, she blushed furiously as all eyes were on her. What made her felt small again was one the whole clan began to chant her name. Finally, what seeming forever for the chant to die down, she sighed in relief as it was finally over.
Stepping down, she waited patinetly at what Treestar was planning to announce.

"Now, with a new apprentice and warrior with us, it is time I must come to conclution..." Treestar sighed. Nothing more then a small sound compaired to the mummbling of the crowd below. "Earthclan needs a new deputy." Short and blunt, the leader saw no use in stalling any longer. Even though he had held on to small hopes that Flameclaws would some day come back, Earthclan couldn't wait. With Fireclan and Waterclan both agenst Skyclan and his clan, he needed a deputy. Foxcloud had been so close to killing him last time, what if he had lost all his lives at once? Treestar shuddered at this. There had been stories of a cat that lost them all in one swoop.
