Wandering

Dust wandered through the area near his new home. 'i wonder where that cat called Prettie went' he thought ' she was really nice, and the only cat who has talked to me yet' he walked up to a shining pool. it was filled with brightly colored fish!

OOC: hes new to the area, doesnt know his way around yet. =^..^=

OOC: oops sorry forgot to post in the other place. xP hehhhh...

IC: Prettie was taking a short nap behind a bramble bush beside the fish pond. He used to come here a lot, but recently she haven't, so she decided to visit this place. She remembered that she caught a fish there once, and ate it, but her owner got really upset. She didn't get punished, but she still remembered the sad look on her owner's face, so she vowed to never touch a fish again.

She was just about to doze into a sleep when she heard pawsteps. Her ears perked before she opened her almost-violet eyes. hey, isn't that Dust? she remembered the tom she met a few days ago. He owner suddenly called her away last time, so she didn't get to talk to him much. She was about to call out to him, when she got a better idea.

Prettie smiled to herself mischeiviously and creeped up on him. Even though she was now fully grown, she still has the mind and heart of the kit she was just a few moons ago. Even though her light cream pelt stood out against the grass, her paws were so silent (as she had been practicing while pretending to hunt butterflies) that it didn't even make a sound.

Suddenly, she let out a growl of laughter and pounced onto Dust. She didn't calculate her jump though, and in turn the two fell into the pool full of fish!

" ahh!" Dust was taken by surprise as he was pushed into the glittering pool. he looked wildly around underwater seeing past the fish and spotting a cream colored pelt and smelling, even underwater, the scent of Prettie! Dust spluttered as he broke to the surface, his long white pelt plastered to his body, making his strong, large muscles stand out. he grasped the she-cat's scruff not sure if she could swim and pulled her up to the side of the pond. " are you alright, Prettie?" the concern in his voice showing.

OOC: wet kitties! =^..^=just like my kitty today, she decied to go for a swim! crazy furball.

OOC: AWWWWWWWW your kitty sounds SO ADORABLE! my cat hates taking a dip in the water. xP she runs when I fling water at her from my hands lol!

IC: Prettie gasped when the two fell into the cool water. Her head went under for a moment, but then she felt powerful jaws grasping her scruff, and the next thing she knew, she was holding onto the side of the pond. It was good that the water wasn't that deep, but she still had to stay calm in order to stay afloat.

The creamy she-cat sputtered, coughing up some water but otherwise seemed ok. She heard a voice beside her, and turned to face Dust. It was surprising to see him so wet, with his fur plastered against his muscles. She wasn't one to talk herself, for her semi-long fur was also flat against her slim body, but she didn't know what she looked like!

This little incident didn't make her serious at all; she seemed even more energetic even after falling into a pond and getting herself wet. "I'm great! how are you?" she smiled, her paws on the side of the pond as she attempted to get out. Her claws weren't long though, because her owner sometimes cut her claws, and her small paws didn't help her get a foothold either. She slipped back into the water with a surprised squeal.

By now all the fish had already swam to the other side of the pool, only hoping to live.


OOC: lol I wanted to make it funny. xP

OOC: fishys gonna die!! jk, they will live, Dust is too fascinated with Prettie to pay attention to them

IC: "im fine, i actually enjoy swimming. just not used to being pushed in unexpectedly. at least not since..." but he stopped talking. he was thinking of when his sister used to push him into streams while fishing. but she wasnt here now. Dust looked over at the she-cat. " you look like a drowned rat!" he said playfully, poking Prettie in the side. " do you want to go for a swim or get out?" he looked over, genuinely curious.

OOC: LOL! poor fishies. xP and it's so sad that he misses his sister. =(


IC: The creamy coloured she-cat giggled. "Oops about that, but wasn't that fun? I've never pushed any cat into a pool before! I wasn't even expecting it myself, seeing as I got wet too! and yeah, I probably AM very like a drowned rat!" she admitted, and looked over Dust. Somehow she couldn't get over how strong he looked; maybe because she usually didn't live around cats who weren't lazy bums. "you should see yourself! you look like a drowned rat king!" she laughed, and attempted to get out again, but fell back again hopelessly. "And well, i'll be glad to get out if i can buuuttttt...." her almost-violet eyes rested on Dust's again, pretending to look exasperated.

OOC: yeah he has two sisters, but one he hasnt seen in moons, and thinks that hes dead. Star will find out eventually. but for now hes just going to hang out in twolegplace and get pushed in pools! =^..^=

IC: " well then ill help!" dust said, hauling himself out of the pool, his white fur dripping onto the ground around him. he grabbed Prettie's scruff again and pulling her out of the water. the fish slowly began to disperse from the tight little group they had been in on the other side. soon there were glinting fish all around again. Dust looked into tPrettie's eyes. they were the most curious shade of violet color he had ever seen. his own eyes were just a blue-green, similar to Stars. " so do you jump on people often?" he purred, but also wanted to know the answer because he would have to watch out for her in the future if she did do this often.

OOC: hehehe the fishes will live. for now! =^*oo*^= i think that Dust is getting a 'little fond' of Prettie!!!

OOC: aw that's adorable! ^^

IC: Prettie purred in laughter, jumping off the ledge of the pool as soon as Dust got her out of the water and she got a foothold. He sure was strong; just one haul and she was out, unlike her own futile attempts. "Of course not!" she answered, shaking her fur dry. "You're the first one who I've ever jumped on!" It was a good thing that the sun was out, and the air was warm. The only thing was, her soft cream fur was thick and, since it was almost white, it wouldn't be able to dry easily. She tried to lick it dry, but gave up on it, shaking her paws a few more times. "Oh, and I almost forgot, thanks!" she turned to face Dust again, a sincere smile on her face. "Now i've got gotta dry off my fur"

" its nothing, no problem." he meowed to her. he watched as she gave her beautiful fur a few licks. " ive found that taking a walk in the sun helps dry my fur well." he felt the water dripping from his long white fur. he gave his usually fluffy tail a flick and sent droplets flying. " is there a sunny place we could walk?" he asked, hoping she would spend more time with him.

OOC: hehehe.... i dont actually know the answer to dust's question... =^..^=

OOC: lol i don't know the answer either. xP hmmmmm somewhere sunny................... OH OH i know!


IC: Prettie thingyed her head, thinking where the sun was strongest. her fur were still sort of in clumps due to the water. "oh i know!" she jumped up excitedly, the idea suddenly popping into her head. "i've never tried this, but let's see if we can get up onto the roof!" she purred, her eyes shining with energy. "there are probably birds up there too!"

time for adventure!
