OOC: what's her name gonna be again, lakeripple?
IC: "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here around the Flat Rock!" Burninstar called the ritual again. This time, for another great news that would show FireClan's strength and growing numbers. He was glad that for the past few moons there weren't any bad news, besides the mysterious situation with Littleflower. Today, Moonlitpaw was ready to become a warrior, on her mentor, Firemist's request. He thought so too, and couldn't help but smile.

Darkheart rushed over when the leader called for a clan meeting. She bairly came in when the call came. She sat down, tail curling around her body. She had to check on Sunpaw . . . see how she was doing. Maybe they could go battle training? She pushed the thoughts away when the leader started to talk.

Firemist was so proud. Her apprentice, after moons of training, was finally going to become an apprentice! She spent most of the morning grooming Moonlitpaw. Just a mother would do when her kit was going to become an apprentice, but Moonlitpaw's family were dead. Firemist had groomed herself also, and now her pelt glowed like fire. With her eyes shining in a bright grey way, derived her name, Firemist.

OOC: Moonliteyes or Moonlitice...
Moonlitpaw felt happiness rush in her pelt. It glowed softly, and her eyes shone. After 8 moons of training, finally, Burningstar was making her a warrior! Her paws kneaded the ground in anticipation. Finally, finally, she, the warrior apprentice, would be given her name.

Burningstar watched intently as his clan gathered beneath the flat rock, and he saw both Firemist and Moonlitpaw emerge as well. He could see their excitement, and even how well they cleaned their pelts for this moment. It was truly a moment of glory.
He jumped down from the large flat rock, and stood in the middle of the gathered cat. "We are here for another ceremony; something else to be proud of in FireClan." he purred, turning his head to the fully grown apprentice. He could still remember how little she used to be when she was apprenticed. "Moonlitpaw, come forward."

Picking her way through the crowd, Moonlitpaw looked up at Burningstar. Pride shone in her eyes, she knew. Her tail twitched happily. This was her moment... Her moment, the best of her life!

Burninstar started, his orange-amber eyes now on the apprentice, who was soon to become a full fledged warrior. "I, Burninstar, leader of Fireclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard and learned about your noble code, and I condemn her as a warrior in her return." He meowed proudly, half towards the darkening sky. "Moonlitpaw," he turned back to the she-cat. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect the clan, even at the cost of your life?"
OOC: heh sorry if it's not accurate; i wrote this from the top of my head. @_@ im in a hurry...

Berrydapple watched as the leader started the ceremony. she felt so proud that her friend was finally a warrior, especially since she was older than Berrydapple.

IC: Moonlitpaw was nearly shaking now... She met her leader's gaze evenly though, smiling slightly, and shaking harder with purrs. "I do."

IC: "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Moonlitpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Moonlitice!" he announced, his voice proud and loud above every cats', even though they've already started to cheer.
As everyone chanted the new warrior's name, he felt pride. Pride for this new warrior, and pride for his clan.

Moonlitice felt trills of joys swallow up her pelt. Her amber eyes glowed brightly in the near moonlight, and her pelt shone. She heard the cats cheering her name, and glanced at her mentor. A smile played around her lips. Moonlitice, not Moonlitpaw. She was Moonlitice!
