Nightpaw looked up at the night sky. He sighed out a puff of smoke. It was a little cold, but he would soon be warm next to Toxicpaw. He smiled at the thought of his luv. He then stiffened when the wind carried a Waterclan cat's scent. It wasnt Toxicpaw's that was for sure. He ducked down, looking around. He saw a pelt streak into his territory. His bright, neon blue eyes narrowed, and he krept closer. He sprang onto the cat's back. "What are you doing in this territory?" he hissed into her ear.

Nightpaw narrowed his eyes at the young she-cat. "Oh? And why's that?!" he challenged There was no way this cat could fool him. He would wait to see her story, then decide what to do with her.

Nightpaw shook his head back and forth. "Has anyone followed you here?" he asked caustiously His gaze swept to the trees behind the frightened she-cat. Then, he turned his gaze back on her, waiting for the anwser.

Nightpaw narrowed his gaze, but relaxed his fur back onto his pelt. "Ko, follow me then." he called over his shoulder He looked back at where the cat came from. Sorry, Toxicpaw, you'll have to wait a little longer for me he thought sadly. He sighed from sadness, and turned to the cat. "What's your name? Im Nightpaw!" he said proudly

Splashpool was out looking for herbs, when she heard voices. Poking her head out from behind the rock she was looking under, she saw Nightpaw and a younger apprentice. She sighed, and stepped out. "Now what would be going on here?" she asked, bored. The Medicine Cat Apprentice often didn't speak to regular apprentices. They had petty problems... nothing serious.

IC: (Before Splashpool) Nightpaw stumbled on his paws. He quickly recaught himself, looking away. "Uh . . . no, i dont think i know her . . ." he laughed ackwardly
(After Splashpool) Nightpaw then looked at the medicine apprentice. Great, more cats around . . . pefect he thought angrily "This is Dreampaw from Waterclan." He pointed his tail at the she-cat next to him. "She wants to join our clan, so im taking her to see our leader. Does it matter . . ." Nightpaw added, staring at Splashpool He hated some cats in his clan . . . she might as well be one of them.

Splashpool frowned when she heard that Dreampaw came from RainClan, but was hurt when she saw the look in Nightpaw's eyes. It wasn't that she didn't like normal apprentices, it was that they didn't like her. She hadn't been born in the Clans, and was often teased for that, so she had learned to avoid apprentices when she could.

Nightpaw looked sideways at Dreampaw. "Yea, so i've heard." he spoke softly "Ko, to the leader or deputy . . . i guess." he spoke again. He watched Splashpool look sad all of a sudden. *Sigh* Great, what did i do NOW! he thought venomously "Sorry if i hurt you, Splashpool." he said, a little annoyed

Graysky watched the trio from his perch on a high tree branch, his lips lifted in a grin. He hadn't expected to find his apprentice out here so late at night out of camp, and had been about to confront him when the she-cat appeared. And then Splashpool, it couldn't get any more amusing.
His grin widened, this was just like the time he had spied upon Kurapelt, Emberfrost, and Moonpelt.
Crouching down, he stared more intently, he knew what would make this night more interesting. If he jumped down and intervened, but he wasn't going to just yet. He settled back more deeply into the shadows of the tree, but froze when his paw knocked over lose bark sending it falling into the ground below. He winced, yep, just like like time.
