Waiting for Star

OOC: for those who do not know, star is Dust's sister, she is a rogue. she believes his to be dead. fell free to join with any cat you have!!!!!!!! =^..^=

IC: Dust brushed the dead leaves from his pelt as he streched. the bush he slept under in his twolegs garden was getting too big. he pushed through the outer branches and looked at the sky.'clear, good skies for much not raining.' he thought fuzzily. he breathed in the scents around him, immeadiatly dissapionted that his older sister had not come. he thought that he wouldnt know if star was there, he didnt remember her scent. Berrypaw must be busy... she hasnt been around for a while. i wonder if she is a warrior yet. his sister had explained the whole system of the clans to him. he jumped up to the fence to watch for Star, the sun rising to the east. one day... he thought, she will come.

The pretty cream coloured she-cat licked her jaws, and cleaned her whiskers of the fresh milk she just drank. even though it was pretty early still, her owners always got up early to feed her so she could spend most of her day outside of the house. she always thought it was too stuffy in there anyways.

She was unusually lean and slim for a kittypet. maybe it was because she was always waiting for a cat from the clan to go take her on another adventure. just recently, she was visited by a rogue --- and unusual change. she thought he was dangerous at first, for she saw him kill a fox! but he seemed ok. he hadn't been around lately though, and once again, she was on her own.

All alone again.

She jumped onto the fence and started grooming her soft silky fur, when she spotted another cat. This tom was unfamiliar to her. did he just move here? she thought to herself, in midlick.

"Hi!" she meowed a greeting from her side of the fence.

" hello" Dust was suprised, no other cat had talked to him since his twolegs moved here. unless he counted Berrydapple, he hadnt even really seen any cat. " you are the only cat who has stopped to talk since....." he trailed off. there had been one cat, back at the old home that he had been very close to, but she was killed by a monster. Dust noticed that the shecat was unusually thin for a kittypet. you couldnt really tell about him, his long fur covered his shape and made t harder to keep his pelt clean. " who are you? i havent seen you before." he moewed, trying to be friendly. the she cat seemed nice, but that was probly because she lived the soft life of a kittypet. no cat had ever interupted his morning ritual of waiting for his sister.
