Dewpelt blinked his eyes open; the first cat he saw was Wildflight. Shaking his head, he quietly stood up and stretched. "hey, Wildflight, time for the dawn patrol!" he whispered in her ear. most of the other cats were still asleep. "time to wake up!" he purred, totally forgetting to clean his pelt as a moss ball dangled from his flank.

WIldflight yawned, then she stretched. Her eyes blinked rapildly for a sec until she became used to the light that shone over her. A burst of energy flew throughout her body, and she felt energetic, although it was an early morning. Wildflight laughed quietly, "You're soo funny!" THen she swiped off the moss ball from his flank and walked outside the den. "Is it just us?"

"um, how about waterclan border?" he suggested, padding out of camp. "hey u want to eat on the way? we're not in that much of a hurry" he mewed, noticing that the sun wasn't even up yet; it was halfway, making the skies purple.

"Sure" She had a lot of energy. She stopped and took a deep breath. She could scent a vole nearby. As she crept slowly towards it, the vole started to fly, but Wildflight was even faster. With one swift, the vole layed in front of her. Grabbing the vole with her jaws, she turned to Dewpelt to see how he was doing.

OOC: eh...voles cant fly, can they? 0.o aren't they rodents?
IC: Dewpelt brought back a mouse from behind the bushes, and dropped it onto the ground. "wow, nice catch!" he smiled, then started gobbling up his catch; he was famished!

"oh no, i'm fine!" he smiled after finishing his mouse, licking his muzzle to savour the last tastes of the fresh kill. "i'll wait till u finish, then let's go to that border we promised to patrol!"

Eating quickly, she gulped down the fresh kill. Then she sighed, maybe I shouldn't have eaten it that fast. "Ok, let's go"

"great!" Dewpelt laughed, then led the way to the waterclan borders, just around the lake they were at yesterday. sniffing the air, he didn't scent anything unusual. good thing. "well, it sure it quiet today" he mewed, looking around. nothing out of the ordinary at all...

Dewpelt nodded, then turned to walk along the border, but made sure that they were within their own territory so they won't get into trouble. "i'm bored" he yawned as they came towards the edge of their territory where the giant oak wasn't far.

I guess he's still sleepy, I'll have to do something about it then to make him feel more energetic. Then an idea came to her, she crept slowly away from Dewpelt and hid behind a bush. "Dewpelt, find me..........................................."

"hey, where'd u go?" Dewpelt looked around, sniffing the air. he didnt notice Wildflight slip away at all until she said so; he almost fell asleep on his paws!
"i know where u are!" he laughed and pounced into a bush, pinning his friend down. "sniffed u out!" he grinned, his face less than a taillength from Wildflight's.

As Wildflight laid on the ground, she scrambled up. THen she started to do a fake pout "Hey, no fair." "Do you feel more energetic now? I'm going to be your alarm clock next time if you're like this again, which you're going to regret." She said mysteriously. Then in a few heartbeats, she added an evil laugh "muhahhahaha.....muhahahahahha." Then she started to laugh.

Dewpelt blinked in surprise, then gave her a lopsided grin, getting up and prodded her with a paw. "hey have u been practicing that laugh?"
as they were laughing, Dewpelt didn't notice the change in scent...
A pair of bright amber eyes shone from the bushes, and a long nose almost poked out of it... the color was bright ginger and its ears flattened as it prepared to attack the unaware cats...

"Yeah, definetly, I have been...." Then she paused for a second and took a deep breathe. Then she stopped, something was wrong! Her face turned from fun to serious. "Hey Dewpelt, do you scent that? There's something here."

without a sound, the fox attacked before Dewpelt had a chance to answer Wildflight. It's jaws drooling with saliva, it pounced for the she-cat with its teeth bared.
"watch out!" Dewpelt yowled and pounced onto the bright ginger creature that was almost twice his size.
OOC: u can also rp as the fox because it's not really a character! ^^

Wildflight was stunned for a moment. I better help him. While Dewpelt was on the back of the fox, she decided the charge in front of him. While the fox was busily shaking Dewpelt off. She clawed the fox on the neck. Blood splattered everywhere.
