Prowling away from the freshkill pile, Redwing paused near the entrance to the FireClan camp. The ginger and white tom swung his head to look around at the sleepy cats, his tail twitching in impatience and irritability.
It was dawn, and a patrol was going out across the territory. The grumpy warrior had eagerly volunteered yesterday for the task... but that was before he'd spent half the night shivering. It was all that she-cat, Bristlefur's fault.
Redwing huffed to himself while he waited for the rest of the patrol to arrive, ears flattened crossly and his claws digging into the soil.

Bristlefur stepped from the warriors den, her head held high and her pelt shinning in the morning light. She turned heading over toward the fresh-kill pile only to remember that she had hunting patrol duty today. Her eyes narrowed and her claws flexed, the hunting patrol leader was none other then Redwing. She growled, that stupid tom. Sighing she searched the camp until her eyes spotted Redwing near the entrance. She padded over to him, keeping her gaze away from his stubbornly. The rest for the patrol had yet to arrive but until then she'd have to sit with him and wait. And so she sat a few tail lengths away and snorted pointedly keeping her gaze away.

Wildheart stepped out of the warriors den and blinked at the rising sun. She walked toward the fresh kill pile and chose a vole. She looked for Bristlefur and Redwing of the Dawn Patrol and padded over to them, carrying her food with her. "Hi Bristlefur, Redwing. I think today is going to be a beautiful day! Is there more cats coming?" she asked cheerily. But the happy face was a mask. She was so tired from her meeting with Shadowprint the night before. She streched, then took a bite of her vole, trying to wake up more so she would be ready for any trouble on the patrol.  |

Bristlefur nodded tightly to Wildheart, the tense in the air could be sliced by a claw. She couldn't help but smile at Wildheart, she look utterly exhausted, "I'm not sure ask Redwing, he should know" she meowed sending a glare the toms way before pointedly looking away.

Redwing returned Bristlefur's scowl with a fierce one of his own, the fur along his back rising along with his temper. The ginger and white warrior desperately wanted to yowl at the she-cat, but restrained himself, if only just.
"I don't know." Retorted the tom, his golden eyes flicking toward Wildheart. His voice was tart, but softened a bit when he saw the weariness in the cat's step. So, he hadn't been the only one who'd had a long night. "Maybe. We can wait for a bit to see if anyone else shows up." He shot a glare at Bristlefur. "If that's okay with you."
OOC: Do you guys want to wait to see if anyone else wants to join us, or do you want to go ahead and start the patrol?

Wildheart laughed airily. "If neither of us know, then we can just start the patrol," she said, kneading her paws into the ground. She wished everybody would just get along, it was giving her tired head a ache.
OOCL START THE PATROL um but when i said that wildheart wished everybody would get along, don't cuz i think it's funny... ;D

OOC: Okay.  Any particular places you guys want to patrol, or something you want to happen? IC: Redwing glanced back at Silentpaw, ears pricking in mild surprise at his sudden appearance. After moment, his golden eyes slid away, gazing off into the distance. "I don't care." The tom shrugged, "But it's really up to your mentor." The ginger and white cat snuck a glance at Bristlefur before he rose to his paws, pointedly staring past the camp boundaries. He couldn't help but be a little envious of the she-cat; Redwing hadn't yet received his first apprentice yet, but then, he supposed that it was partly because he was still fairly young... and partly because of his rather moody attitude. |

"Please, Bristlefur!" pleaded Silentpaw. If he couldn't be a medicine cat, he should as well do something with his warrior life.
Wildheart leaned over to Bristlefur and whispered, "Just let him go. He's been cooped up in this camp forever."
OOC: We could go up to anywhere really. I could go ask my friend leopardshadow if we could see the EarthClan Dawnpatrol if that's allright.

OOC: 0_0 when did bristlefur get an apprentice? oh well thats cool.
IC: Bristlefur turned to her eager apprentice and smiled, it was time to teach her apprentice some things any way,why not start now. She nodded as she rose to her paws, padding after Redwing. "Just stay close to me you hear" she meowed, sending Wildheart an amused glance.

OOC: Does EarthClan share a border with FireClan?  IC: Redwing paused near the exit to camp, waiting for the rest of the patrol to go before him. The ginger tom would follow suit and take the lead after everyone had left camp. Inwardly, his mind was whirring, not only about apprentices and Bristlefur, but about where he'd lead the patrol. The Lake of Fire maybe? But then again, they might want to check out the Dry Fields just in case; every once in a while a rogue would turn up in the dried grass... |

OOC: Hmm, maybe they could meet up with a SkyClan patrol? I have a cat in SkyClan who's talking with two of Kura's and some other cats right now... What do you all think?

OOC: yeah! i have a cat in SkyClan too! Btw, i put a thing up for silentpaw's apprentice and pikeru said that you were and snowstep added it onto the FireClan cats, so yeah , i guess bristlefur is a mentor now!  |

He'd decided; they'd patrol the border they shared with SkyClan. "Come on you three, let's head toward the Sunningstones."
