IC: The white cat nodded, and took a step back. Fading away, her eyes narrowed, as if she was seeing something confusing in her mind.
"Darkness will come
From two cats of light.
Fire burns and scarlet shines,
But together,
The heart is tinted black."
The she-cat's voice echoed as darkness overcame Littlepaw, and even the stars from her pelt were engulfed by the mist of darkness...

OOC: did u like the prophecy though? took me 2 mins to think up. XP i posted it in the plot page.
IC: Burningstar sighed and carried the two mice back to camp. that was all he could catch in the wet after so many drowned prey. He hoped Gingerleaf would be back soon; for some reason he wanted her by his side right now.
Scenting the air, he hoped to catch the scent of Littlepaw, that's she's back, but there was nothing.

Littleflower ran away and slowly crept threw a small whole in the back of the nursery. Gingerleaf was waiting there. He eyes glaring at the muddy young medicine cat. She noticed a worried look on Littleflower's faced and mewed,"Whats wrong" Littleflower's eyes where wide open in fear,"I need Burningstar"

Burningstar padded around camp, checking on everything and making sure the elders den was dry. then he caught a familiar scent; Littlepaw was back.
"Littlepaw?" he poked his head into the nursery, then his eyes widened when he saw the worry and fear in her eyes. "what's wrong?"

he eyes where widened in fear as she spoke. Gingerleaf's experrsion turned to a horror look one not seen in cats.

Burningstar's eyes widened, and thought about those words... what could they mean? All he knows that there's going to be trouble, and probably soon.
Darkness... where could that come from? There are practically no black cats in the clan, and there hasn't been any sign of rogues on the territory recently since the flooding.
"Did you get any sign of what that means?" he asked Littlepaw, still not knowing that she's been accepted as a med cat yet.

Burningstar blinked. "me?" he asked, confused out of his mind, and glanced over at Gingerleaf. then it dawned on him: fire burns
"but how can darkness come from me!?" he frowned, feeling utterly helpless to help keep his clan alive, especially since the storm. now... he wondered if he was meant to be a leader at all.

Littleflower swollowed how could she explain it without just randomly blurting out that Gingerleaf was having kits, the queen should tell the mate. "Not directly you, but you are the cause of it." She looked at Gingerleaf's belly. GIngerleaf caught the look.

Burningstar blinked and frowned again, as confused as a tom could be for not knowing the looks she-cats exchange. he sighed as he sat down with a thump, an upset look in his amber eyes.
"i'm going to be the cause of my own clan's problems, huh?" he claws the ground with anger. "that's just great."
Then he glanced up at Littleflower. "do you know how things could be changed?" he asked, a little hope shining in his eyes, like a kit in a leader's shell.

Burningtar sighed, glancing over at Gingerleaf again. "I guess there's nothing i can do, huh?" he frowned, and stood up. "we'll just have to face this as best as we can." he meowed confinently, more like his leader side now.
outside, a light drizzle started, each rain drop barely larger than a piece of fur. there wasn't even the pitter patter of drops on the ground as the camp darkened from the wet.
"thank you, Littlepaw" he smiled and turned to leave the den. it was almost night time, and he had to get the moonhigh patrol ready.
then he remembered something. if Littlepaw got the omen, then she must have went to the moonstone...
"Littlepaw," he turned a little reluctantly. "did you get ur medicine cat name?" ge asked, hoping there was good news instead of bad.

Burningstar nodded with approval that Littleflower went to the moonstone even after defying the leader. "congradulations," he meowed. "we'll have a clan meeting tomorrow telling the clan the good news." he smiled, then looked down as he made his way towards his den. How could i protect my clan...?

Burningstar looked over his shoulder to see Gingerleaf padding up to him. he was just getting into the den when he heard her soft voice. "yes?" he turned around and looked at her, thingying his head, not having the knowledge that he was going to be a father.

"KITS?!?!" Burningstar's eyes instantly lit up with both surprise and pride. "you mean i'm going to be a father?!" he asked, like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. he looked like an excited kit, and he hurried up to Gingerleaf and gave her several happy licks on the head. "that's great news!" he purred, not knowing that the kits were what meant disaster in FireClan...
OOC: when should i post the ceremony? or post it at all?! XP
