Snowstep blinked at Rascal, and smiled. "Do you want to... Join SkyClan?" She asked, her eyes shining, and deep in her heart she hoped the kittypet would say yes.
A short silence engulfed the two cats as Snowstep waited for Rascal's response...
... but Prettie was also around... lost.
The young kittypet sniffed around, lost and eyes wide, in the thick forest that she has never been to or liked at all. She jumped as an owl called from its tree, and her fur was all fluffed up. Her little heart beat so fast that it felt it would come out. She wanted to go back home... but she didn't know which way she came from...

Rosefeather followed Snowstep's sent until a two-leg fence stopped her and the trail stopped. "Two-legs." she hissed. Then a new sent engulfed her: kitty-pet. She followed it, bored and itching for a fight. She found Snowstep with a warrior-age kitty-pet. "Snowstep, what's going on here??!??"

"Oh, um, I was wondering if Rascal" Snowstep nodded her head towards the kittypet "Could join SkyClan?" She asked, worried that the deputy won't even let him prove his worth.
"Rascal?" She looked at him. He still hasn't answered if he wanted to or not... It's his choice.

"Don't bother Snowstep," Starlight padded up beside Snowstep as she Rosefeather asked her to come along, "Look how many time he ran away while you were trying to show him the forest. He's not fit to be a cat of Skyclan."
The in Snowstep's ear, she whispered, " You must really like him to have so much patience with him." Her voice taking up a teasing tone.

Snowstep blushed and looked defiant. "Of course he's fit to be a warrior! Besides, we need more warriors in SkyClan, don't we?" She tried to change the subject about her liking Rascal...
"Please, Rosefeather? I'm sure he'll fit in fine..." Snowstep glanced at Rascal.

Starlight raised her eyebrows (do cat's have eyebrows? lol). She smiled sheepishly, "Rosefeather, give him chance. We'll come back tommorrow at Sunhigh to hear you answer. Come on Snowstep, give him time."Her voice once again dropped into a whisper that only Snowstep could hear."Wait till I tell Rainfeather about this!!!"

"Aw Starlight!" Snowstep smiled playfully and nudged her friend. "You're always a joker! ... But I actually really...like him...i think..." She mewed, blushing again.
"Hey u're lucky! The tom YOU like is actually in the same clan! Finally I like someone, and he's a kittypet..." She sighed. "So, how IS IT going with Rainfeather?" she asked with a grin.

"Eh? Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Bilzzardstar will let him, that is...if he wants to," Starlight mewed, " well, Rainfeather is too hardheaded to even notice that I like him, I guess I'll just have to hit him on the head a couple of time to make his head softer." Starlight laughed.
OOC: We really need to replace sky clans's leader! we need her for the story to move on!

Rascal gazed into snowsteps eyes briefly & nodded, thrill rushed through him. looking at snowsteps friends rascal was taken aback by all the commotion. rascal encored prettie & looked over at snowstep & sighed happily.

Snowstep turned back from Starlight, then looked back at Rascal. "Um, you want us to show you the camp before u make ur decision? I know it's something big...And I really hope you'll stay" she purred, hoping he'll agree.

rascal nodded his paw prickled with joy "Ive never been more excited" he purred with a warm feeling in his heart. rascal leaned over toward snowstep & gave her cheek a swift lick then withdrew his head & blushed slightly. "so off to camp then" rascal said hoping snowstep didn't mind his eagerness.

Snowstep blushed and smiled before following after Rascal, keeping close beside him. She hoped Starlight wouldn't mind her spending time with him...
"Well, camp is just beyond these trees" she purred as the trees started to clear out. The camp wasn't surrounded by bushes like usual camps, only half covered. SkyClan cats were used to sleeping more under the stars; usually only elders and kits sleep in warmer dens.
