"Um, I'm going uh... patroling, yes." Brightstream tried to look normal, but it didn't work well. she twitched her tail and her fur pricked. "No thanks I'll go alone..."
she quickly slid away before nightmoon could ask any other questions.

Nightmoon hissed in annoyance.. why was this cat acting so strange?? " Wait!, come back!" she blinked at brighstream, " can i just walk with you?"

Brightstream sighed with relief when she got away from Nightmoon. She decided to lose her scent by going into the river. even though it was raining her scent will still linger.
she treaded into the river and shivered. it was so cold!
quickly getting out, she made her way quietly deeper into the wet marshes, looking behind her every few paw steps.
