"My name is Dawnfeather, I'm a healer. You all seem like you've been attacked, I can help."

Mossheart hesitated for a while. "WHy are you here to help us? After all, you are different from us." She didn't know either to trust her or not.

"healer?" Goldeneye repeated as he gasped in pain, his leg still hurtning like hell. "just help me with this first, please." he hissed.
he knew he couldn't trust just any cat, but there were others here if this Dawnfeather was going to try anything sneaky. besides, he's losing so much blood... unless he gets treated, fast, he could die. already the deputy feels light headed and his vision was a little blurry, his head unclear as he watched the she-cat in front of him.

Dawnfeater nodded, she quickly ran outside to grab the bundle og herbs she was carrying. She then took most of them inside and started chewing, while searching for cobwebs.

Goldeneye watched as Dawnfeather chewed up the herbs, his eyes interested in why this she-cat was helping them. he scented the air again to make sure the rogues haven't come back, and winced as the juices of the herbs were applied to his leg wound.

"No need to sniff, they're done with their training session." Dawnfeather pressed some cobwebs onto his wound. His eyes sparked with curiousity, and she could answer his unspoken questions. "I'm only helping you becuase the only cats that come to me wounded are already dead. I seem to be the only one in my Tribe without the thirst for blood and death, I would rather prevent it, by joining the Clans." She knew none of them would believe her after she told them what Tribe she was talking about, but once she could tell them the exact place and time the attacks would occur in which Clan, they'd have no choice but to.

Mossheart nodded. It could be a possible though. She looked at her wound, the bleeding had stopped, it wasn't as bad as GOldeneyes'. "Um...do you need any help?" she offered to Dawnfeather.

Goldeneye blinked at the two she-cats, and dug his claws into the ground at the thought of those rogues. but he could see that Dawnfeather was different from them, though he couldn't TOTALLY be sure that she's an allie; at least a trusted one.
he watched as his wounds stopped bleeding also, and the herbs seemed to be working. it was still sore though, but he guessed that would happen.
the deputy watched Dawnfeather again, his eyes narrowing a little; not from hostility, but with wonder.
he'll just have to trust her.

Dawnfeather shook her head. "No, I'll be done before moonhigh." She sniffed Mossheart's wound. "Your's might take a little bit to losen up." She padded over to Rain. "Hmm. I'll put some burdock on your's, whoever scratched you likes to dip his claws in twoleg poison mixed with deathberries." she chewed up the root and spit some out onto her paw, then rubbed it onto Rain's scratch. "If my services are no longer needed, I'll leave." she looked at all the shaken cats.

"no, thank you." Goldeneye meowed, quickly, knowing that they'd need her help if they were to heal well. Not only that though... the tom wasn't always quick to apologize, ask for help, or even thank any cat. but nothing stays the same all the time. especially not in this situation.

"Thanks for everything." Mossheart nodded with gratitude.

Silentkill sented her disobedient medicine hunter. "Stupid Dawnfeather." She grinned to herself and sunk into the shadows.

Goldeneye felt a sudden cold that shocked him; could something be wrong? the tribe cats won't be back so soon, would they? He still felt pain in his leg, but at least it was better now that Dawnfeather had helped; he couldn't thank her enough for helping, even though they were strangers. He was about to utter something when his ears twitched in the direction of outside, in the shadows somewhere... could there be another attack?

Dawnfeather felt the presence of her leader, even if Silentkill didn't show herself. Her delicate ear hairs felt the paws of Silentkill move in the sign of 'do as your told'. Dawnfeather shuddered.

Goldeneye stiffened and quickly got up, ignoring the sharp pain that greeted him. he stood directly at the entrance of the cave, pushing dawnfeather behind him and scanned the shadows outside. he knew someone was out there, but who? "show yourself" he hissed, loud enough to echo through the cave, and kept his golden and green gaze on whatever might be out there. for a couple of heartbeats, he was only greeted with silence as the wind howled in the night.

"Don't bother. You'll only scare prey." Dawnfeather wispered. Now everything had gone wrong. Her new friends were in danger because of her. The faint steps of Silentkill died away and the Stars even seemed to exhale in relief. "You'll do best to watch your backs for awhile. She might see this cave as a new training spot. Clan-cats," her eyes flickered from cat to cat," tell your leaders that Silentkill isn't giving up. I bid you farewell, we may meet again." she flicked her tail, then walked with a heavy heart back to her pile of dirt that she so laughingly called a den.

Goldeneye watched as Dawnflower left, his fur settling down a bit when he felt the presence leave. for some reason he FELT it. He nodded when the tribe med cat bid them farewell, and prayed a quick thanks to StarClan.
he turned back to the rest of the cats, looking over each one of them before lying back down, facing the outside just in case. just then he knew that although he didn't know them very well, he wouldn't stand any of them being killed. they'll have to get going first thing in the morning, but meanwhile they should all get some sleep. he closed his eyes and shifted uncomfortably as his ears are firmly set to the sounds outside the damp, quiet cave.

Whitemoon looked upon the resting cats. So much pain in one spot. Was his death for nothing? He paused. Maybe it was. He sighed and ran with the speed of LepardClan to look upon his neices. Lilypaw so dainty, Winterpaw so brave, what he would give to talk to them. His thoughts still traveled back to the cave. He would have to tell some cat about everything. Would Goldeneye be that cat?
