Cinderdust looked around the camp. The tension was so thick in the air she felt as if she would drown in it. 'what else can go wrong?'She thought. ' I just wish things could go back to normal. Only Starclan knows whats in store for us.'

OOC: Is it ok for me to join in?
Stormwhistler stared blankly into space, sighing heavily. Oh how he longed to see his daughter again.. but how? It was impossible. At some point in his lonely musings he noticed another cat nearby and rolled his eyes, he wanted somewhere to be alone, obviously camp was not it. Nevertheless, he stayed and resumed his solitary staring

Cinderdust looked over at Stormwhistler. 'It must be hard to lose everything you love. I wish there was someway I could help but.....he looks like he wants to be alone. If some clan doesn't attack soon, my name isn't Cinderdust. I wonder if our clan is prepared for what is to come?' She thought. 'How can I think that we aren't?' she scolded herself.

Wildheart felt as if her heart had been ripped out. She hadn't seen Shadowprint since the day that she told him that she wanted kits. Was he ignoring me? she thought in distress, Doesn't he love me anymore? She felt moisture in her eyes, and she quickly blink the tears back. She didn't want to make up another excuse if another cat saw her crying. She was tired of making up excuses. Tired of lying...
For a moment she forced herself to not think of Shadowprint and how she was breaking the warrior code. She decided to dip into the past, before she met Shadowprint, before the trouble with EarthClan and Foxcloud.... back to when nothing bad was happening, back to when she felt like a true warrior and nothing else mattered except for protecting and being of service to her clan. Nothing more...
She took a seat next to Cinderdust and Stormwhisker, immeadiatly feeling the unwanted tension. Breaking the silence she murmured, her voice still rich with greif, "Hello Cinderdust... Stormwhistler..." Cinderdust looked confused and depressed so Wildheart rested a tailtip on her shoulder to comfort her, even though she needed to comfort too. Stormwhisker looked sad as usual, staring at the ground. As usual. He was always thinking of his daughter, the one he had lost.
As hard as she tried not to think of Shadowprint, her thoughts soon escaped to his. I want a daughter... she thought and sighed longingly.

Stormwhistler merely nodded in reply to the greeting and continued musing. Maybe I could sneak off, but how would I be able to meet her without her clan noticing, Agh! nothing will work! He let out a depressed sigh and rested his head on his paws, his outlined eyes staring longingly at nothing, he turned his ear slightly to listen to the other cats, anything to keep his hold on reality, then again, maybe no reality was better, there he could be with his daughter.

"Yes," Wildheart agreed, "And whatever personal problems we have we must put aside for the good of the clan." It seemed more like she was telling herself that. Both cats that she was talking to needed to here that. She eyed Stormwhistler. "Right, Stormwhistler?" She prodded him in the shoulder gently. The tom was spacing out again. She knew what he was thinking of, but she didn't dare say it out loud. "Foxcloud scares me though. I hope Burningstar can see that." Her eyes seemed to wander to her paws again.

" You're completley right Wildheart." Cinderdust agreed. "Foxcloud will drench Fireclans name in blood. We can't just sit back and watch that happen, but I don't see what we can do!" Looking over at Stormwhistler she thought 'Why is he just sitting there sulking?'

He should be helping, thought Wildheart crossly, His clan comes first. "Exactly," she meowed, "We should tell Burningstar right now!" Her claws scratched anxiously at the ground. "No, we can't. Burningstar trusts Foxcloud so much and not to mention he himself picked Foxcloud to be his deputy. We would get in trouble just for telling on her." She set her eyes on Stormwhistler again. "Am I not right, Stormwhistler?"

Cinderdust nodded. "With Burningstars help, Foxcloud is untouchable." Cinderdust said. Looking over at Stormwhistler, she thought 'Well, doesn't look like he's going to be much of a help to his clan.'

OOC: Havn't RPed with Foxcloud for a while now! Hope it okay if I toss her in here. xD You jinxed yourselves by saying her name 5 times! She must be like Beetlejuice... o.O
That oh too familiar form gave an annoyed grunt from behind the three warriors. Their words did nothing to please her sour mood. Foxcloud knew all those little disgusions about her and her dasitions. "And what is the top gossip in this little group...?" the Fireclan deputy desided to play the dumb card. Acting as though she heard nothing of their conversation.
Though her voice was more of an unsettling mixture of playfulness and a threat on their lives, her thoughts were on fire. These stupid warriors don't understand anything! I'm risking my life for the good of the future. Fireclan will be LEGENDARY for my actions! One single ruleing clan. A forest of only fire. . .The fox red she-cat purred to herself at the last part. She could picture it easily. Burningstar the leader of the entire forest; and her, his loyal deputy. Though, once it was Burningstars time, SHE would lead the greater forest in time. Fallen possibly finding her own place by the Fireclan she-cat's side as a reward for her loyalty...

Stormwhistler ignored them all, such talk was meaningless, he just sighed again and continued staring, why couldn't life be simpler? As he continued staring he heard a new voice, Foxcloud. he rolled his eyes. As if this day couldn't get any more tedious he glanced at the deputy aknowledging her for a brief moment, even if most cats hated her she was still deputy and deserved some respect, before letting his eyesfix themselves to nothing in particular. A gathering! If she's an apprentice surely she'll be there! then, for the first time anyone could remember, he smiled.

Dipping her head to the deputy, Cinderdust thought 'I'd like to rip that vocal cord from her htroat! The we'd see who's purring!' "We're just talking about the events that are happening lately, Foxcloud." she didn't try to hide her annoyance. 'Just because she knows what were talking about doesn't mean we have to admit it out loud.....' Glancing over to the cats beside her to see their reactions, she saw Stormwhistler smiling 'He's smiling!!  ' shaking her head, she thought 'There's something wrong with that cat.' |

"F-foxcloud!" Wildheart stammered, startled. Her heart was beating at an irregular pace. Had she heard? "N-nothing! What she said!" Her eyes grew wide in fear. Is she in trouble now? She shot a quick glance to Cinderdust, who looked very angry. How brave she is, thought Wildheart, Shape up, Wildheart! Don't let this cat bring you down! Cinderdust wasn't glaring at Foxcloud, but at Stormwhistler. Taking another look at Stormwhistler, she noticed that he was smiling... smiling! Naturally, anger made Wildheart lash her tail and as soon as she made the movement she regretted it, hoping that Foxcloud realized she wasn't mad at her. But she was in a way, so she would be lying if she said she wasn't mad at her.
Wildheart's clawed fiercly at the ground, making a ditch with scrape marks covering it. Could Stormwhistler be on Foxcloud's side? Wildheart shook her head. Her thoughts couldn't stop coming. Of course not, he was included in our conversation just seconds ago?
Wildheart stopped clawing, and so did her heart. No he wasn't. He didn't say anything; he just sat there and sighed! Wildheart soon found herself glaring at Stormwhistler just as Cinderdust was. Mouse-dung! she thought angrily, I should learn to hold my tongue, he could tell Foxcloud everything! But somewhere in the back of her mind told her that Stormwhistler wasn't on her side, that he was just dreaming of his daughter, her first thought. She still was wary though. Her fur started to flatten as she calmed herself. "Er, any knews on EarthClan?" she asked nonchalantly. She casually flicked her tail. Hopefully her nervousness wasn't showing and that her act was still going on.

Cinderdust flicked her ears at Foxcloud to show that she was wondering the same thing, she actually wanted to know what had happened in Earthclan. For a terrifying second, Cinderdust considered the possibility of Foxcloud lying to them. 'Even if she does lie to us, were bound to hear the truth sooner or later. And if we don't I will find out what happened one way or another.'

Wildheart impatiently awaited Foxcloud's answer. Don't believe a thing she says, Wildheart, she scolded herself, lies, lies, lies. She had to admit that she was interested in EarthClan: Shadowprint lived there. Shadowprint, her only love. Soon the other cats were'nt there, just Shadowprint and her in her wandering mind. She blinked, when she heard a cat speak, and Shadowprint vanished. She swallowed the wail that rose in her throat.

It was almost as though Foxcloud had turned into a completely different type of cat at the mention of their topic. Her sharp yellow eyes became downcast and dull. Tail drooping. She even turned her head with ears slightly lowered for added affect. "What does it matter if I tell you or not." the first sentence was not a question, more or less a statement, "No cat ever liked me, even as a kit. Being deputy and having to make choices that will haunt you forever seems still not to be enough for cats to respect you..." Foxcloud gave a lonely sigh. Knowing deep down, even in her darkest form, there was only one thing that would always love her. And that one thing she had cast away. "It seems every cat wants to rip my throat out. But I'd like to see THEM make all these hard choices. I learned of Earthclan's plan to attack, and acted first." Around this part of her words, the fox red she-cat perked up. Giving a harsh sideways glance to Cinderdust at the throat part. The dark deputy could tell those wishes to rip them out from the warrior. For, to identify that need, you have had to of had it before. Takes one to know one, no? Well, Foxcloud has had it many times before. Those small hints in the eyes and the way the warrior stood gave it away.
Foxcloud dismissed the presence of Stormwhistler. The tom was speaking little, and deep in thought. Shadowfire would do the same thing WAY to often...

Wildheart felt her heart strangely go out to the wicked cat. What she said was true. Everyone did hate her, even as a kit. She did attack first when she heard of EarthClan's plot. But, a voice cried in Wildheart's head, Shadowprint's clan would never do that! Never! And what of Flashpaw! He was catnapped by Foxcloud not captured as a prisoner. Lies!
Yet she did still feel sympathy. She had never seen Foxcloud give up her pride and be sad in her life. Somewhere deep down inside she was one of us. There was still some good left in her heart. One cat cannot truly be evil, can they? Wildheart tried believing that, even if it wasn't true. Her throat was dry when she muttered the words, "I'm sorry." Why could she not close her mouth when she saw another cat with a tortured past or a troubled mind? She was tortured too, yet she did nothing for herself. She did not care.
"I never thought of it that way," she meowed, voice hoarse. She lowered her eyes with sudden realization. She had heard! she thought, panic rising in her fast beating heart once more, Oh I am doomed! She felt like wailing again. Pull yourself together! she ordered herself, Act as if nothing happened!

Cinderdust glared a Foxcloud. 'All mist and fog, when it gets right down to it, its all just a petty trick.' ' I feel no sympathy for this wicked deputy.' Well, that wasn't exactly true, she did feel well, sad for Foxcloud but she still couldn't forget what the deputy was doing not just to her clan, but to all four clans. Cinderdust was afraid if she opened her mouth she'd say the wrong things, so she only nodded in reply.

OOC: Sorry for not being on as much as usual, i've been busier thanks to some homework addicted teachers Dx
Stormwhistler stopped smiling, thinking it would look strange on him to these cats. He flicked an ear at Foxclouds words, he still couldn't care less about what was happening but thought he might as well listen. The other cat's sympathies to him earlier were only half recognised. He decided he should contribute to the conversation at least a little. "Uh.." ... That was the best he could think of at the moment. He shut his outlined eyes and cursed silently for even bothering.
