Sunstorm was taken aback at the snap in Fuzepaw's voice. "..Oh, okay." He meowed still a little confused. "Hmm, I just wanted to say hi; it's been awhile since I saw you last. How've things been going?" He meowed, ignoring the fact that he was clearly not welcome. "
Wolfstorm's ears flicked in trepidation. How long was the tom going to stay here? He was making idle chit-chat and she felt like groaning. She didn't want to waste her precious limited time with Fuzepaw hiding while he tried to fend off his clanmate...

"Okay, okay. Hold on to your fur," Sunstorm meowed, hurt. "I'll see you tomorrow, or maybe not..." He shrugged sadly and flicked his tail in farewell. Sheesh.. he thought. It seemed like Fuzepaw was hiding something, and he wished he knew what. Was the apprentice's past bothering him again? or perhaps he'd interrupted his memories...The golden tom didn't know what, but he wanted to find out., he thought as he padded silently away. He toyed with the idea of sneaking back..
Wolfstorm waited, unsure of whether the tom was really gone. His scent was still strong, but scents lingered for hours after the bearer left...Neither did she trust herself enough to peek out and see if he was gone... She waited quietly for Fuzepaw to signal the all clear..

Fuzepaws ears were strained, listening to the retreating footsteps of Sunstorm. He continued to wait, just to make sure he didnt come back around again.

Sunstorm padded away, shrugging Fuzepaw's words off... perhaps he'd be less snappish in the morning? The tom shrugged, and made his way back to the camp....
(lol wasn't sure what to do with him....bleah...I can always make him return by way of second thoughts XD)
Wolfstorm waited, but she could feel that it was all clear. She purred quietly, and stretched her stiff limbs. Being in that one position for that long wasn't good on the legs! "Haha, for a second there, I thought we were gonna be discovered or something.. he's not very curious I guess... good thing for us though.." she meowed with a smile

IC: Fuzepaws ear twitched, before he turned to face Wolfstorm. "Yea, i guess." His body was still slightly tensed up. He did his best to relax his body again. Sighing, he licked her cheek. "You okay?" He heard the soft noise of popping coming from her legs when she stretched them out.

Sunstorm wandered back to camp, but his thoughts were on Fuzepaw and his brusque manner... Fuzepaw was normally....annoyed, but he sensed something else, something not usual, was the cause for his annoyance with Sunstorm. Should he turn back? Find out what was really going on with the apprentice? Sunstorm warred with himself- the right to privacy and the concern he felt battling it out in his head. His concern won- he decided to be quiet about it- it was clear that Fuzepaw wasn't going to tell him-so he'd have to find out the other way...
Wolfstorm groaned. "Yeah, my legs are just really stiff." she mewed, wincing as she felt things crack. She mrrowed wryly. "Wanna go for a stroll?" She purred...

Fuzepaw smiles at her. "Of course! Where shall we go?" He purrs slightly, rubbing his cheek against hers. He twined his tail with hers, before he started to walk. Pressing his pelt close of course.

Wolfstorm looked up at the sky, a smile on her face. "Hmmm... how about.. by the lakeside? The stars come to earth in the lake, have you noticed that? Haha, I know it's not real, but still- we can actually touch them. It's so magical....well, not as magical as you are, Fuzepaw." she purred as they padded along...
A shadow flitted around the trees, moving noiselessly in pursuit. Sunstorm wanted desperately to know what was going on, but Fuzepaw kept moving- he froze as a soft voice, obviously not Fuzepaw's as it was feminine, spoke. The blood drained out of Sunstorm's face, but then he tried to reason with himself. Surely it was a she cat from thier clan and there was nothing wrong with that! Besides, even if it was a she cat from another clan what did he care? Anything that made Fuzepaw less snappish and more happy was something the tom deserved... Sunstorm decided to follow- he wanted to know who Fuzepaw was with... Or Maybe just his sister here to visit and share old times with him? it smelled faintly of waterclan..

Fuzepaws ear twitched ever so slightly. He heard the soft padding of a third, but ignored it when Wolfstorm spoke. "Well, i havent seen it before," he mrrws, "but im sure it is pretty. And if we can touch them . . ." He trails off, a purr escaping him. He butted heads with Wolfstorm happily. "It doesnt matter. As long as you are with me, nothing is bad."

Wolfstorm purred loudly, blushing at Fuzepaw's comment. He made her feel so special! She hoped she did the same for him- because it was true- he was the most special and wonderful cat in the whole of the clans- and she made sure then and there to tell him so.
(hmm, should I have her say Froststar's words?)
Sunstorm shook his head. Not Toxicfang then...He crept closer, holding his breath as the two cats reached the lake, it's waters shimmering in the moonlight. The surface was as smooth as glass; not a ripple troubled it's waters in the stillness of the night. Sunstorm's whiskers twitched- it seemed as if the lake was mirroring the peace and happiness of the two cats...Intrigued, he stopped just before the light of the moon fell on him- Fuzepaw might not be able to see him, but the other cat might...

Fuzepaw sat down near the waters edge. His tail flicked slightly, and he licked her cheek. "What a peaceful night. At least the rain has stopped." The earth was damp under paw, but he didnt care. However, he felt like they were being watched. By what? He wasnt sure.

Wolfstorm nodded. "Yeah, sometimes we get no rain, and sometimes a downpour, hmm? But never in between." She grinned. "But I like it that way- rain is so refreshing... Tell me...what do you hear Fuzepaw? What does the world sound like through your ears?" She looked quietly out at the darkened forest, tiny lights beginning to flit in and out of the trees; the fireflies had begun to take to the air, free of thier prison now that the rain had finished. Long shadows stretched from the trees, created by the gentle glowing of the silver moon high above thier heads, and the stars from whom silverpelt was made of.. As wolfstorm watched, a shadow moved... She nearly started...Then she remembered something she thought she'd never forget. "Oh yeah! I also have some news for you, but first, can you answer my question?" she pleaded...

Fuzepaw looked up at the darkness above in thought. No one had really asked him this before. Thats because no one really cared before. He smiles faintly, turning his head towards Wolfstorms voice. Her soft, musical voice. "Well, i hear soft buzzing. Like something is flying around. I can hear the very light drip off the rain settling down. Of it dripping onto the ground. How its a soft ping, noise." He ponders for a few seconds, ears listening to the surroundings.
"I hear the wind. It moaning through the leaves, rustling them. As if they are whispering to each other. Forever speaking. The soft padding of animals coming out of hiding. Sniffing the air, making sure its safe to come out. How the water in front of us is hitting the earth lightly. It sounding so peaceful. And further out, the splashing of fish jumping up out of the water." He turned his head towards her voice again. "I hear you, and how beautiful your voice sounds. As if angels have come down and are singing. When ever you speak, i feel so happy and lucky to have someone like you. And i hear our heart beats. Fluttering softly, then relaxing again. Together in beats, never ending." He smiles happliy at her, intwining his tail with hers.
Good news? She had good news to tell me? He shrugs slightly, a soft purr escaping him. "No matter what the news are, if its coming from you. It shall always be good." He smiles happily. He was so happy to be with her. Nothing could destroy this moment. Nothing could end it. For once, he would have happiness in his life. Sense he never really got it any other time. Just once, cant Starclan let me have happiness? Even if for a brief second? It always seemed to end in sorrow and pain. No matter what. This time, he wanted it to be different.

(^^ wow, what an amazing post! ^^ )
Wolfstorm's eyes brimmed with happiness as Fuzepaw's tail twined with hers. She ducked her head bashfully at his words. An angel? He thought she sounded like an angel? She stared into his eyes, his words taking away hers. She rested her head against Fuzepaw's chest, so wonderfully solid and warm.. She loved the way his voice rumbled as he spoke, the vibrations soothing under her head. She stayed in that position for a long moment, just savoring the closeness they shared, and the feel of thier hearts, beating as one.
"I hope so," she meowed at last, thinking of her meeting with the clan leader. "Froststar says...she said that she'll give you a chance." She purred, lifting her head to look directly at him. Excitement radiated from her....

His purr deeped, making it rumble even more. He was so happy. Nothing for sure couldnt ruin this moment. And her words? I get a chance? Ill seriously get a chance? He was so happy to hear that. "Maybe i will join Waterclan again." But he wasnt so sure. If he was again denyed, he would leave the clans. Forever. Even if it meant leaving his sister, Toxicfang. If it meant leaving . . . Sunstorm recoiled in shock. Fuzepaw might be leaving Lightningclan?? His jaw dropped, and he stepped out of the shadows. He couldn't let the tom ruin his life for some she cat! "Fuzepaw, what are you doing out here, with a Waterclan cat?" he meowed, no hostility in his tone, simply shock and confusion, as well as some hurt...
Wolfstorm gasped as the tom that had almost caught them earlier materialized from the shadows, his golden and red coat shining. Her eyes widened and she stared at him dumbfounded...
(naaah, ^^ it was still good! ^^)

Sunstorm may not be showing hostility, but Fuzepaw sure was. He turned his head towards the sound of the footsteps. Towards the sound of Sunstorms voice. His fur started to bristle angrily. "What in Starclan, are you doing here?!" His voice was a slight snarl, his tail lashing. His claws unsheathed, scraping against the ground. He didnt want any harm to come to Wolfstorm. Sure, hed gladly take any punishment, but not for her. He wanted her to be happy. Fox-dung, Starclan! You are going to deny me luv?! He didnt even bother answer Sunstorms question.

Fuzepaw rolled his eyes. "Throwing away my future? Pfft. I dont see it as that. I see it as happiness." His fur puffed up further. He could have easily been mistake for a warrior if you didnt know him. And it didnt seem like he was blind either. His eyes shot daggers at Sunstorm. "So what, you going to tell on us now?" His lip curled back into a snarl.
