ooc: This was Lakeripple's idea. I'm just making one for Bird! Twinkle jumped from her basket in the window. She crept softly to her bowl. Yuck! Stinking little pellets! Why can't my humans feed me better food then this? Twinkle wished for a nice bowl of milk, or the yummy pink stuff that they gave her occasionally. She lapped at the metallic water, cringing slightly at it's taste. A loud thudding intruded into Twinkle's ears. There awake, she thought glumly. Now they won't leave me alone. Twinkle walked over to the door to the garden. Her collar twinkled slightly, from which came her name. A tall female bowed over her. Twinkle could understand some human words.
"Twinkle, .... outside?" Twinkle learned how to handle her humans. She looked up, her amber eyes glittered happily, and let out a small feeble mew. I hate acting defenseless. Stupid humans. The human, which she'd heard her called Helen from time to time, opened the door. Twinkle rushed out into the small enclosed garden. Ah, fresh air! She padded around happily. I want to see bigger things. I want to be free! She walked right to the edge of the garden. She looked over the edge. Patches, the annoying cat that lived next door, looked up at her.
"Hi Twinkle! What brings you to this side of your garden?" Twinkle sighed and jumped down so she was eye level with Patches.
"I was going to explore until you showed up," she hissed angrily. She never understood it, but she had a horrible temper from time to time. "Never mind. I'll just be leaving." Twinkle meowed and jumped back into her garden. She walked up to the door, but she didn't know the horrors that awaited her inside.*To be continued*

Continuation!! Twinkle stared with horror. The man that opened the door for her was unfamiliar to Twinkle. Who is he? Why is he hear? she asked herself. Twinkle reluctantly enter her nest. Her owners, both of them, stood side by side. They looked sad.
"That's...Twinkle," the female said while sniffing. She looked like she'd been crying. All three humans were staring at Twinkle. She didn't like it.
"Twinkle," the unfamiliar man spoke her name with a greedy grin. "Pretty kitty.... time...go." It was then Twinkle understood. He's taking me away! She hissed and ran to the open door. She had to get away. When her whiskers were almost outside, when the evil man shut the door in her face. He reached his large hands and wrapped Twinkle around her stomach. Roughly Twinkle was lifted into the air. She clawed and struggled, hissing and growling. She wanted to get away. She didn't want this man to touch her. He was evil in her mind. "Thanks.....Twinkle....taken care of." Twinkle doubted this. His hands still gripped her soft belly way to hard.
They left the house that Twinkle had been for two weeks now. She didn't want to go. They treated her well, even though they didn't understand. They tried though... The evil man threw Twinkled roughly into a small cat carrier. He tossed the carrier into the back of his loud wagon. He stepped in and Twinkle was tossed to the back by unknown force. She was flat on the back of the carrier. Her easy life seemed over.To be Continued again!

*chewing on popcorn intently* My, poor Bird! I feel bad for her. I'd hate to give one of my cats away to some strange man. This definitely shows that other people sometimes don't treat your cat the way yo want them too. D= To be honest, If some strange man came to take Buddy away (Thawpelt in real life) I might go primal and his butt! D=< Now...continue before I start to poke you with pins and sporks. >=D lol

Continuation The wagon came to a sudden stop. Twinkle went from being smashed against the back of the small carrier to being thrown to the front of the wagon. The carrier tipped with her weight and fell to the ground. Twinkle hissed. She disliked being roughed around. She always wanted revenge if she was hurt. The evil man yanked Twinkle's cage from the floor of the wagon. He carried her inside his nest.
The nest was filthy. Dust bunnies sat in every corner. Dirt caked all the carpets and flooring. The man set down Twinkle's carrier, and opened the door. Twinkle huddled close to the back of the cage. "Dumb cat," the man muttered. Twinkle narrowed her eyes at his words. A sudden jolt sent Twinkle sprawling on the grimy floor. Her clean tabby fur was solid brown now. Where the dirt now sat upon Twinkle's pelt she could see that the floor that she sat was white. Most of it looked brown. The man left Twinkle alone.
She walked carefully around the nest. Her black pads now appeared brown. Little white paw prints were left behind. This place is filthy, Twinkle thought to herself. She searched the whole house searching for the food. There was none to be found. What am I supposed to eat? she asked herself. She walked into a new room. Still no food, but she found an open door that lead outside. Maybe I can catch my own food. She took a cautious step towards the door, when the man entered the open door. He slammed it shut in Twinkle's face again. Twinkle went back to the room with all the boxes. She found a box towards the top that was open, and curled up in it to sleep. Will I stare to death? Her thoughts ran on like that when she drifted into a fitful sleep.

Twinkle woke with a jolt. She was tumbling down the mountain of boxes. The man stood there laughing as she stumbled out of her box. Twinkle hissed, but the man didn't seem to like that. His steel-toed boot met Twinkle's soft belly with such a force it sent her flying into the boxes. She emerged again, expecting to be sent flying again. The man held out a bowl of food, the soft pink stuff. Twinkle ears perked up and her stomach growled. She padded to reach the bowl of food. When she stuck her head in the bowl, she lapped eagerly at the food. She had only gotten a few bites when another hard blow hit her chin. Twinkle cringed back. The man laughed and left the room, carrying the food with him.
Twinkle's stomach rumbled again. She looked sadly at the door that was closed by the human. This couldn't get any worse, she thought. At that exact moment, Twinkle heard the man pouring water. She realized that she was so thirsty. "Crap!" the man shouted as a loud clattering noise filled the little room. Water leaked under the door. Twinkle raced over to it and lapped quickly. The water was sour and metallic tasting, but Twinkle was satisfied with it. She retreated quickly to her boxed. The man had opened the door and was looking at the ground for any traces of water. He left quickly. Idiot, Twinkle thought. She slept again.
Her dreams were unsettling. She felt more pain, thirst, hunger. Her vision was pure black. The pain was endless. Suddenly her vision was filled with a pure white light. All the pain disappeared. She felt free. When she woke she still felt her pain and hunger. Twinkle wished the dream were reality. She still had countless more days of this pain.

Several days past in a similar fashion. She only little tastes of food and water. Both of which was followed by extreme pain. She was at the point of wishing that she was dead. The little food and water she got was enough to keep her alive. Why can't I die? Twinkle thought. If I were dead or still alive, would he care? He won't care. Just go and leave this all behind. I swear, he won't care. Twinkle began to formulate a plan. All were terrible, seeing as she had no way of getting out of the small room. The door was almost always closed, and when it was open there was no way she could get out. The only window in the room was never opened. Twinkle needed a miracle.
Two days after her plans began to form Twinkle heard noises. The noises came from the odd black box that showed pictures. She couldn't see the picture, but she could hear it. "Tonight.....meteor shower....dangerous," the words drummed into Twinkle's head. Though she only understood parts of it, she understood enough. She could escape when the meteors, whatever those where, took a shower! She had no idea when this would be though.
Twinkle jumped up to the window. She looked outside. Her heart soared. Rain clouds were forming on the horizon. That must be the water the meteors take their shower in! She jumped down. She had a pep in her step. She curled up in a box and watched the clouds creep nearer and nearer to the nest.

Thunder boomed outside the dirty glass window. Repeated sounds of falling rain drops echoed around the little room. Twinkle rose her head, blinking the sleep from her eyes. She jumped up to the window. Her paws splashed in pooling water. A leak! Twinkle began to search for the source of the leak. She lapped at the water the still pooled. It was brown and dirty, but better tasting then any water that she'd even had.
After a good deal of searching, Twinkle found the place were the water was seeping through. She pawed at it and trying to get the window open. She pulled and pulled, but it seemed that the window was rusted closed. Twinkle sat back in her box. She was depressed. She really thought that she'd found a way out of this terrible life.
Twinkle almost drifted into sleep when a loud banging noise came from outside. She tilted her head and saw large rocks falling from the sky. The meteors have come to take a shower! Twinkle jumped out of her box and up to the window to watch. She stared and watched the meteors light up the night sky. It was beautiful. A loud cracking noise interrupted Twinkle's calm thoughts. She jumped down and saw it.

A small hole had been opened near the base of the wall. A small rock sat on the floor. The rock was streaming and very hot. Twinkle saw her chance. She raced over to the hole. Happily she smelled the outdoor air for the first time in a week. She brushed her tail tip quickly across the smoking rock. She owed everything to this little stone. She ran outside. The rain quickly soaked her pelt. The water the she stepped into turned brown. Twinkle ran. Her heart was light and happy. She raced away from the place that did her so much harm, and caused her so much pain. She ran. She was scared. The man always seemed to show up and wreak her life. Twinkle half expected crash into him and get kicked back to the place she didn't want to go.
She dodged the falling meteors, and ran for hours. When she couldn't run anymore, Twinkle was in the country. She was amazed! She'd never seen anything so pure, and welcoming. Twinkle walked in the direction she'd been running. She was so content with life that she didn't notice the figure in the weeds until it was too late.
"Who are you?" A glowing pair of green eyes demanded. Twinkle froze with fear.

"Who are you?" the voice repeated. It's eyes still glowed in the night. Twinkle stood frozen. She couldn't answer, she was terrified. The voice emerged from the weeds. It was a large ginger she-cat. "I am Sun. What is your name?" Twinkle still didn't move. She felt the terror that petrified her body slowly loose it's grip on her.
When she could move again, Twinkle turned her amber eyes to meet the green eyes of the she-cat. "I'm Twinkle," her mew shook slightly. "Are you going to hurt me?" When Twinkle asked that question, she felt a burning take over body. She suddenly knew what she might have to do. Twinkle glared and dropped instinctively into a fighting crouch.
The large ginger cat laughed. "You don't need to fear me," Sun's voice was clear as a bell, and almost as smooth. "I mean you no harm. Please forgive my startling you." Twinkle started to rise out of her low crouch, when a crashing sound came from the bushes.
A heavy weight landed on her back. I'm being attacked! Twinkle's thoughts raced. The cat still remained on top of her shoulders. Twinkle pushed up slightly, then she rolled. The grey cat's breath was taken as he crashed hard into the ground. Twinkle was on her feet in an instant. She leaped on top of the cat. She clawed at his pelt, the warm blood glistened over her claws and soaked into her fur. The grey cat pushed himself hoping to catch Twinkle on the way up, but Twinkle was too fast. She dodged, and hooked a claw on the cat's ear. She flipped him on to his back. She had him pinned a second later.
"Stupid house-cat," The grey cat meowed. His eyes glinted hard as ice, and just as blue. Twinkle glared angrily at him. She pressed her weight into his left shoulder with claws unsheathed. She felt more blood flow under her pad. She brought her face close to his and hissed.
"Stop!" Sun called. She bounded over to the tom and Twinkle. "This is my brother, Moon. Moon this is Twinkle."

Twinkle stepped off Moon. "Sorry," she muttered. She didn't mean it, so rather it was an apology. She sat and cleaned Moon's blood off her paws. "Next time don't attack me," she hissed. She would fight him again, and win again. Next time though it would be easier. She will be trained.
"Try and stop me," Moon hissed back. He must know that'll I beat him again, Twinkle thought. Twinkle glared at Moon. Let him try to attack me again. Though she still glared, the rage from the battle was wearing off. She was getting calmer and calmer as the moments clicked away. A sudden noise from the gorse made Twinkle jump. She hissed and unsheathed her claws.
"Calm done," Sun's voice cut through her anger. "It's just a bird." The robin that had been in the gorse fluttered away. It was beautiful. It had the brightest red chest, and the most lovely song that Twinkle had ever heard. "Bird," Sun's voice was thoughtful. "We should call you that. Do you like it?"
Twinkle very much liked the name Bird. "I love it!" she meowed. Bird is my name now. I will never be called Twinkle again!

Four seasons went by. Bird trained for two seasons with Moon. He taught her to fight and defend herself. She always won the fights that they spared in, but Moon always came back to next day to teach her. The next two seasons she spent with Sun. Sun taught her to hunt and set territory markers.
The day was dark and stormy, Bird went out hunting. She was stalking a squirrel. The squirrel leapt up and raced toward a tree. Bird gave chase. She crossed some kind of strong scent marker, but Bird wasn't troubled by it. She caught her squirrel, and was walking back the way she came.
A sudden voice came out clear behind her. "Why are you on Skyclan territory?" Bird scented several cats with the one. They smelled hostile. She dropped her prey, and fell into a fighting crouch. "Answer me. Why were you hunting on our territory?"
Relax, Deerheart," another voice soothed. "I don't think she knows what she's doing. She's a rogue." Rogue. The word left a bad taste in Bird's mouth. She was not savage or unpredictable. This Deerheart didn't want her here. He thought her evil and cruel.
"Glitterstep, she should not be stealing prey from us," Deerheart hissed. He crept farther, with his fur bristling. He wanted to fight. Bird could take him, but there were three cats there. She couldn't fight all of them at once.
"Stop, don't fight," Glitterstep padded forward to stop Deerheart. "Don't even think about it Tawnydance." The third cat was creeping forward to join to impending fight. Deerheart gave a battle cry and leaped for Bird.
Bird dodged and clawed at Deerheart. Tawnydance was fighting on her back. Bird was dodging, she no longer attacked. She was on the defensive. Tawnydance disappeared from behind her. Had she thought of fighting fair. Bird risked taking a look. Moon was rolling on the ground battling with the she-cat. Deerheart took this as a chance to hit Bird. She hit the ground, dust covered her pelt. He had her pinned. Deerheart barred his teeth. "This will teach you to enter our territory." Glitterstep was no longer in site. She must have gone to warn the others that Deerheart was talking about. The tom's teeth were being thrown at Bird's neck, a wound that would kill her. She breathed a silent goodbye to the world.

Bird struggled under Deerheart's grip. It was like slow motion. Bird kept expecting to die, but his teeth grew nearer and nearer slowly. Bird's life flashed before her eyes. She remembered all the horrible things that happened to her. Being taken away, the filthy house, the closed box room, and finally the evil man. Bird knew that she was getting her wish. She was finally going to die, but now she wanted to live. She had a pleasant future ahead of her, not pain and suffering. Bird looked pleadingly at Moon. He still wrestled with Tawnydance. If that were me, I'd have won already, she scoffed despite the fact that death was creeping closer and closer to her.
"Say good bye to your life Rogue," Deerheart hissed. Time sped up now. His teeth flew toward Bird. She closed her eyes and said a silent prayer to protect Sun and Moon. The sharp piercing of Deerheart's teeth met her scruff. Blood began to trickle out of her wound. Bird hissed weakly. This was her end. She was going to sleep forever. Never to wake up again. She would live without pain or suffering for the rest of eternity. She would hunt among the heavens for ever. Never hungry or thirsty. More warm blood flowed over her fur.
A loud yowl sounded over the battle. It sounded familiar, but Bird was in hysterics. She couldn't think straight. "Let her go!" the new comer called. Bird pondered for a moment. Who was this cat? Bird knew her, but she couldn't place her paw on it. A ginger blur struck Deerheart's flank. He was sent stumbling away from Bird. The cat was Sun. Bird was so happy! She purred weakly. She was going to live. Sun's claws tore into Deerheart's flesh. Blood pooled under his body. He was shaking violently. The death that had been promised to Bird was taking hold of Deerheart now. Bird was a little woozy from the loss of blood. Deerheart's body stiffened, and he breathed out sharply. He never moved again. Sun stood, her eyes glinted, and she let out triumphant yowl. An angry yowl cut into Sun's triumph. Tawnydance was lunging for Sun.

Tawnydance and Sun battled together. Brown and ginger pelts blurred together. The battle raged on and on. Bird wanted to do something, but she was frozen in horror. Moon limped over by her. "Did Sun kill that cat?" he asked gesturing with his tail to Deerheart's body. Bird wished that she could have killed him. Then she would be battling Tawnydance, not Sun.
"Yes," Bird's meow croaked. She had a knot in her throat. She was to blame for the fight that would end in a death. Either Tawnydance or Sun would never see their family again. Bird hoped that Sun would emerge alive. She caught a glimpse of burning honey colored eyes. They stared at Bird. Pure hatred lingered in their eyes. A second later, they were replaced by glowing green eyes. Their sorrow poured into Bird's soul. Sun must be loosing, she thought grimly.
A sadden logged wail interrupted Bird's thoughts. Moon was wailing in agony. Bird for a moment was confused. The battle! Sun! Her worried thoughts dragged her eyes over to where the battle had raged a moment before. Tawnydance glared angrily at Bird, her left paw placed over Sun's motionless body. "No!" Bird screamed. Her amber eyes instantly lit ablaze. Tawnydance would pay for this kind of evil. She would avenge Sun's death. Bird leapt at Tawnydance. Her claws tearing the flank of the dodging she-cat. Tawnydance screeched and tried to slam her paw onto Bird's head. Bird dodged, but the heavy paw landed on her tail's tip. Bird cried in pain as a loud cracking noise came from her tail. She leapt onto Tawnydance's back, and clawed her flanks viciously. The warrior rolled, trying to dislodge Bird. Bird leapt from her back, and landed claws unsheathed onto Tawnydance's soft belly. Blood flowed from the wounds on Tawnydance's belly. Bird lifted a claw to puncture a hole in the brown cat's throat. She dragged her claw back, ripping a gash, all the way to her hind legs. Bird jumped away.
Tawnydance's body convulsed, sending painful ripples up her spine. A gurgling sound could be heard from her vocal cords. Blood pooled under her body. Bird glared at the dying cat. That would show them all. A shocked meow came from her behind her. "What have you done?" Glitterstep had returned. She glanced at the bodies of Deerheart and Tawnydance. Maybe Bird was savage. "You've killed them. That is not how the Warrior Code tells us to handle our battles. You shall have to perish." Bird glared at Glitterstep and hissed. She would kill this cat if she had to. "Um, never mind. I'll be leaving." The frightened she-cat ran back the way she came from. Good Riddance, Bird's thoughts quickly returned to Tawnydance. The she-cat's movements were smaller now, less violent. She shook once more, then went still.
"Moon," Bird's meow was soft. "I'm terribly sorry about Sun. She was my friend, and I'll miss her terribly." The grey tom's body shook with grief. He was dragging Sun's body back to the camp. He would spent tonight honoring her life, then bury her tomorrow. Bird was planning on joining him. When Moon placed Sun's body in the center of the small camp. He turned his ice blue gaze to Bird. Bird jumped at the grief, rage, and hatred that burned with in them.
"Get away from here," he hissed. "It's your fault that she's dead. I wish you could have died instead. Leave me alone. I never want to see you again." Bird glared, but didn't want to fight anymore today. She turned and left her best friend, and her now archenemy. Sun had loved her when she was weak. Moon never cared about her, he only trained her because Sun asked him to. Bird was better off without him. She left the territory where she'd spent a happy year. She turned her back on everything that meant anything to her. She turned her back on caring for others. She would never again care about another thing. It always turned out poorly for her. Her original humans, Sun, and the territory that she was now leaving. Bird would hate everybody that she meant. She would only have emotions of hate, rage, and bravery. She would never cower to anything, only face it head on. The life she now left behind was over.

Two seasons past by Bird. All she did was hunt, drink, and sleep. Her life was boring. She did nothing important. She explored for a territory that she could live in, but all the good spots seemed taken by these clans. She searched and searched, but always came up empty pawed. Until that faithful day, everything changed for Bird.
Bird approached a new territory. It looked very promising, large hills rolled about probably loaded with prey. I just hope there are no cats here, or at least one. I can take one cat, she thought. She approached the territory, but stopped abruptly. Strange cats were in the area, and differently more then one. Shoot, Bird thought glumly. This wasn't what she was hoping for. She wanted to be alone. A ginger she-cat crept out and stared at her. She looks a bit like Sun. I might be able to trust her, Bird thought. She was struck that this cat looked so much like Sun. I don't think I can fight her, or anyone that's her friend, Bird sighed. She felt defenceless knowing that she couldn't hurt this cat.
"Think of Stream," the orange cat said. "She's not so bad, why should this cat be?" Her faith in Bird surprised her even more. This cat was very similar to Sun. Trusting, kind, and strong. Bird, not wanting to look weak, dropped into a fighting crouch. Of course none of the cats on the hill would be hurt by her, she couldn't look weak. "Welcome," the ginger she-cat meowed. "I am Sunset." Bird could see where she got her name from. "Come, you need rest." Bird followed gingerly. Sunset had bounded over to a jet black tom and whispered something to him that Bird couldn't understand. As she approached she saw two other cats. She trembled with fear, but she suddenly stopped and held her head high. She would not allow herself to be afraid. She would face them head on.
"Hello," she meowed with care. She really didn't want to fight. She could beat the two cats she didn't see before, but Sunset and the black cat would be a challenge. "My name is Bird." She refused to become needy. These cats were just in her way. She didn't need to bother with them anymore then she was.
"You know me, but this is Misty," Sunset meowed flicking her tail to the smallest she-cat. Bird glanced at her own tail. Tawnydance's paw had bent her tail's tip upward. Why does my tail have to be deformed? Bird asked herself. "Skywalker," Sunset meowed nodding to the black tom. "And Stream," she said resting her tail on the silver cat's shoulder. "Some cats call us rogues, but we are really just cats whose lives are a bit different. We have all had hard lives, but we are getting through it together. You are welcome to stay with us in the High Hills, Misty and my territory. If anyone else desides to stay there is plenty of prey to go around." Sunset finished her speech. Although before the ginger cat had finished Bird made up her mind to stay.
"Were you all born rogue?" Bird asked carefully. Several of the cats looked different, Stream and Misty especially. Skywalker and Sunset looked normal, but then again what was normal?
I was born from a far off tribe. Near the sea," Skywalker mewed. He flicked his normal tail off into the distance. He had an odd accent. Bird knew that he was in face from far away. Bird listened as both Misty and Stream explained that they were kittypets. That must be a house cat, Bird thought. It made sense. She had been called 'Kitty' all the time. And Twinkle, she glared at nothing. She released that the cats were waiting for her to speak. Shoot, I think the cat called Stream asked what I was born.
"I was born a kittypet too, but they mistreated me," she meowed. She kept most of her history back. It was terrible, no other cat should have to deal with it. "Then I met Sun and her brother, Moon. Sun was very kind to me, but Moon could take me or leave me." Bird's heart crushed the moment she said Sun's name out loud. I hope they don't ask about her, she thought. "I don't think I'll be able to answer them.
"What happened? A fox? Badger? Did they leave?" Skywalker asked. Bird knew she couldn't not answer, but she could lie. Skywalker's accent slurred the 'd' and 'g' of the word 'badger' into one sound.
Bird cringed. She didn't like lying, but this time it was necessary. "Humans. They attacked me and Sun defended me. She didn't make it." She refused to say the truth. Skywalker had a similar name to the clan cats. If he were one of them he would chase her out of the area entirely.

Nice, though you took that right out of an old thread... I don't care, you are using Sunset the way I roleplay her... because I did roleplay her in that! The putting the tail on Stream's shoulder, murmurs with Skywalker... yeah, all me.

Bird felt terrible as Stream winced at her own words. Humans must be a sore spot for her, she added a mental note. "Two-legs are heartless monsters," Stream hissed. Two-legs? Bird thought hard about what that was. Oh, two-legs are humans. I'll have to start calling them that. "They care nothing for us cats or our lives! If I were half-dead and crawled up in front of one they'd probably..." Stream broke off at the end of her sentence. She looked shaken. If this had been Bird's second life she would have comforted the she-cat, but this was her third life. She had no emotions in this life. She refused to have it be so. Stream would have to deal with her emotions on her own. Bird's were taken care of.
"I was born clan," Sunset answered Bird's question finally. That was close, she breathed a sigh of relief. If I'd said anything about the clan, Sunset would have been upset with me. She might tell me to leave. Bird stopped. How would she respond to that? She couldn't say anything about her hating clans, but she had to respond. If she didn't say anything Sunset and Skywalker would be suspicious. I will play dumb! I'll pretend I don't know what a clan is, Bird thought. She liked her plan. It was a good plan.
"What's a clan?" she asked. Technically she wasn't lying, because she didn't know much about a clan. She just knew that they killed Sun and ruined her second life. Skywalker went to answer her question, but he broke off. Why is he hesitating? she thought. Was a clan that dangerous. Personally, Bird thought they were dangerous and savage, but were they worse? Did they steal prey from innocent cats? Steal kittens? Kill other cats for fun? Keep dogs as pets? Bird stopped herself from thinking those horrible thoughts. She didn't know, so she shouldn't be judging them.
"Clan is a group of cats that live together under the warrior code, feeding the oldest and youngest first and hunting for the weak. My brothers and father still live in the Clans, but my mother took me away. She hunts with StarClan now," Sunset's mew grew slightly sad. Her mother might be dead, but Bird wasn't sure.
"Really..." Bird trailed off, she was acting as if she was think then. "What's Starclan?" She wanted to know. If it was a clan then her mother couldn't be dead.
"Dead clan cats," Sunset responded. Bird shuddered. She didn't want to think that Sunset's mother was dead, but what could she do?

I was careful. I didn't want to make someone's character say something that they wouldn't say. That would not be cool...
