Boredom

Shell waited for a noisy dog finally get pulled away by their owner before she stepped out of a dewy fern slightly puffing out her fur which had a few droplets of water staring inside the fish pond.

Shell looked at the golden fish and frowned, it was like they were just for show, small glittering gold objects, she gave a sigh and then fished one out and pulled it away before it could jump back in. Shell repeated the same thing until she had four and pulled them all away before the dog came back.

Shell looked at the fish sadly, if only Shock was still here....

Ghost stiffened in the thick underbrush along a tall white fence. The sounds of a paw hitting water made his ears prick. His grey Siamese fur trembled as a cold wind brushed against its thin layers. Leaf-bare was slowly coming, and his fur had yet to catch up with life outside his old Twoleg's home.

With odd curiosity poking at the tom's stomach, Ghost turned his icy grey eyes to the top of the fence. His blue collar's silver coin tinkled lightly, and gave off a small shine in the sun's light. By now the young tom had been climbed a tree clumsily, and was lightly stepping down a low branch to the top of the fence. Something in the back of Ghost's mind yowled in alarm, though. The one voice that the stray treasured deep inside. This yowl wasn't an alarm of danger, such as the sense of a dog snarling and drooling over his grey fur. It was more or less of another cat.

Ghost froze. His icy eyes widened in shock as he gazed upon a she-cat. The stray blushed slightly under his fur, knowing deep inside he harvested a secret shyness of all she-cats. Wildly, he looked around for a escape. Ghost's intent on finding an exit from the strange she-cat distracted him from his footing, and sent him to a hard landing back to earth.

Right in front of the she-cat he was intending to avoid.

Shell pricked her ears when she head footsteps but when a cat landed in front of her she jumped up her mouth open to say 'Shock!' but when she examined the tom Shell realized that he wasn't Shock, she blinked curiously, she wouldn't expect another cat to be around because of the dogs, 'Are you okay?' she asked in a small voice still slightly startled taking a step forward thingying her head curiously.

IC: Ghost panicked, backing up in a futile attempt to get away. A simply tree blocked his bath as his rump bumped into its strong trunk. His grey Siamese fur fluffed up in fear slightly. Knowing this she-cat may have made less scared of her, but the fear of she-cats all together wouldn't have kept him hear despite that either. Ghost's pale icy grey eyes flicked around, trying to find another way out.

What could he do?

Ghost swallowed hard, his ears pressed against skull. Quickly, the tom did the only thing he could do with his lack of ability to speak. The young tom took a submissive position. Lowering his head and body showed his lack of interest in fighting clearly, as he kept his eyes looking at her nose instead of making eye contact. Ghost's fluffed up tail stuck stubbornly to his side with fear, to afraid to make the wrong movement and make him appear as though this was all an act. The last thing he wanted was to get in a fight.

Shell blinked a little confused on why the strange tom was scared, when it looked like the tom was taking the position to fight her ears went flat, the tom was just like the clan cats! Shell glared, 'I wasn't going to do any harm! Just was checking if you were okay!' her claws digging into the soft soil frustrated.

Her tail also thrashed with annoyance, she said in a calm voice with a hint of irritation, 'Do you want me to leave?' Shell waited for the tom to reply...

Ghost's eyes widened fearfully. She took it the wrong way! No! Quickly, he ducked his head into his paws and shivered. Something foolish if you think about it, but the tom hadn't truely a clear head at the moment. Not only was that tree very uncomfortable on the rump, but he was possibly going to have to fight a she-cat! Maybe a tom he would be fine with, but why a she-cat? He didn't just fear them, but also respect them in a way he would feel bad at lifting a paw to her.

OOC- Sorry about yesterday, my mom kicked me off before I could say goodbye >_<

Shell blinked and then looked confused, the tom didn't seem able to make up his mind. At first she didn't know what to do. Shell's ears slowly went back up and she walked forward cautiously, aftraid that the other cat would jump up and attack or just run away . . .

Shell prodded the tom gently with her paw, 'I'm - uhh - sorry?' she said with a confused voice, 'But really, are you okay?' then an idea clicked in her head: Maybe he knows where Shock is! First I need his name though. Shell waited for the tom to respond . . .

OOC: that okay! ^^ Can Shell read twoleg? Cuz his name is printed on a tag attatched to his collar. =3



IC: Ghost slowly rose his head, and gazed at Shell with mild fear. Normally, he would still be afraid of a she-cat in her possition. Though, for some reason, he found warmth in ther pressense. It was like his mother was here again, and not in the metal webbing off somewhere else. The stray shifted his icy grey eyes to the sudden sound of his collar's noise. It seemed that small silver coin on his blue collar had a mind of its own sometimes! Ghost didn't like it, nor did he truely want to get rid of it.

The grey siamese parted his jaws, and gave a silent meow. Dropping his ears and eyes showed his disappointment at the lack of abitlity to speak, or answer the she-cat. One ear perked up slightly, and turned to the sound of the annoying yapping dog. Annoyance began to roar in the tom's chest. Not only could he not speak to the she-cat, but that dog wouldn't shut up long enough for Ghost to hear himself think!

Shell blinked, she noticed how no sound came out as the Siamese cat seemingly tried to speak, she hung her head calling herself an idiot in her mind. Shell had to be smarter then that! But then again...how would she know?

Shell backed away, 'I - sorry?' not knowing what to say ... this seemed like a sensitive situation now. She sighed and hung her head, but then when she saw movement of the tom, she looked up and looked at his collar. Ghost. Shell blinked and then said, 'Is it Ghost?'

IC: Ghost whipped his head quickly to face the she-cat. Eyes wide in shock. Suddenly he stood, tail waving in excitement. A shy smile slowly crept across his muzzle. Though, then he also paused his tail, and tipped his head at the female. The grey siamese turned his ears fully to the she-cat. 'Ghost', his mouth slowly worded, placing a paw on his chest. Shortly after, he shifted that paw in her direction, nodding his head encouragingly as he waited for her to speak.

Shell blinked, a little afraid inside, 'Um - Uh Shell.' her ears twitched slightly in nervousness, Shell didn't want to upset the tom - Ghost - 'Do you know of anyone by the name of Shock?' she asked hopefully.

IC: Ghost's ears lowered in disapointment. Not at the factor of her name; it was a fine one. But more or less that he didn't know a Shock. His heart skipped a beat, hoping she wasn't being nice just to get information on this cat, 'Shock'. With clear disappointment, the grey siamese slowly shook his head in a way to say 'no'. His tail flicked with slight adgitaion as the blue color tinkled slightly. Ghost loved the noise, don't get him wrong! But it alwasy seemed to pitch in at moment he really would rather not hear it.

Sell frowned, Probably gone forever she thought, she got a little distracted at the collar, but then returned her attention to Ghost. She sat down and licked her paw but before she did she said in a friendly, 'So what brings you here?' Shell flicked her tail towards the pond but then some fish on the ground caught her attention, already muddy from thrashing around. Shell frowned again, 'What a waste.' she mumbled.

IC: Ghost paused, tipping his head silently as he follow Shell's gaze to the muddy fish. They helpless flapping touching the tom's heart in an odd way. The she-cat seemed kind of down by the sight of this. Was she hungry? the grey siamese wondered, letting his icy grey eyes flick back to her. Quickly, his paws acted before his mind. Usine a paw, he gently pushed aside a nearby bush that Ghost only now remembered hid a small squirrel. By the fluffy tail, the stray tom plucked the forever sleeping rodent from its resting place, and placed it before Shell. Casually, the tom's tail wrapped over his paws as he waited for the she-cat to respond.

Shell stared at the squirrel, and then looked at Ghost, 'Thank!' and bent down to take a bite from the small no longer living thing but froze and looked at Ghost, 'Are you sure you don't want some?' Shell put her small paw on the squirrel gently pushing it forward offering the offer.
